September 22-25, 2011 Disney Dream Cruise

I'd like to PM you but apparently the rule is ten posts before you can PM. I only have eight...well, nine with this one. Guess I have to find something to post about and then I'll be set. Wish me luck.

Just reply to something so that you can get your post up.

Just stopping by to check on you guys hope no one has been affected by Irene. The Dream has not been able to dock at Castaway Cay. I have heard that there has been some damage to CC, I pray that Disney will work swiftly to fix everything; I know that there are so many cruisers that are looking forward to visiting the beautiful island.

We are located in central NC and were west of the worst of it. We have had wind gusts to probably 40 mph and some rain, but nearly what our coastal citizens are experiencing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the path of Irene.

I too hope CC had minimal damage and is up and running by the time we get there. I would rather go there than Nassau.

Everyone stay safe!:thumbsup2

We're booked on the 12:45 visit with the Sea Lions in Nassau. We tried to book directly for a $40 savings but they were full. Anyone else going on this excursion?

This will be our tenth post and we'll be able to PM and who knows what else. It's like going from three stars to four stars in the HAL Mariners Club or reaching Platinum on Carnival.

Ok im gonna start sending emails to everyone that pm'd me the only email addresses i am missing are for Crystal27, rylanzdad, magandgarrett, & noodlesmom. Yes, I second the thanks for putting together that list!

I know we talked about that lounge off the atrium to meet. Can't remember the name of it though.

on deck three it would be bon voyage and one deck up would be the vista cafe
I think that we talked about the Vista Cafe because it was off the main deck, but still near the atrium.

Thoughts? Does that work for everyone? Just a quick meet up right after the muster drill (since we don't have to wear the life jackets any more). Then, we can recognize each other around the ship.

i think vista cafe would be a little less crazy we tried the pool deck on our wonder cruise before the sail away and it was crazy

Yeah, we've done it on deck before too, and it does get crazy. I think that if we just have everyone go straight to the Vista Cafe after the muster drill and just meet and introduce quickly, then everyone can be on their way to the Sailaway Party!

We are game to meet anywhere. The less crazy, the better. About how much time will there be between the muster drill and the sail away party?

That will be a very short meeting.

On the list you sent, there was one room that said it would be determined at port... do you think we will get that number when we all meet?
