September 22, 2012 Fantasy Eastern "From Fantasyland to the Fantasy"

My friend, Phil, and I made a couple of changes to our trip. Instead of going to Disney World after the cruise we are going before and its actually saving us a lot of money!! We fly in early Friday morning then spending Friday at Magic Kingdom. We are getting a hotel not too far from the airport (they offer free transportation) and then we will be back at the airport Sat morning where Disney Transportation will take us to the port!

To extend our honeymoon by a few days, we are staying after the cruise at POR 9/29 to 10/3 :cool1: Very excited and we were able to get a Royal Room...usually we stay at a value resort so this is a new resort to us!

Where are you flying out of Friday? My sister and I are flying out Friday morning out of Cleveland, Southwest Air.

We are flying outta Columbus Friday morning, Southwest!

I'm flying out from Portland on Thursday evening American. I will be in orlando on Friday morning. Staying at Port Orleans riverside Royal Guest room. Then I will be visting Hollywood studios and Magic kingdom for MNSSHP.

Our pre-cruise plans will be a day at Universal, at the request of my DD. We did the whole Harry Potter thing in 2010, but my DD has since become a huge Harry Potter fan, so we'll be enjoying booger-flavored jelly beans, pumpkin pie tarts, and everything else HP. :rotfl:

You will love POR my wife and I have stayed many times, the Royal Rooms look great from the pictures I've seen!

Before we know it, we'll be cruising on the Fantasy 184 days :woohoo:
Just a few more days and I'll be starting to make a few ADR's :woohoo::woohoo:
Has anyone heard when "Be Our Guest" restaurant in the new section of Fantasyland will be opening?:confused3

We are making a stop and plan change in Nashville, TN.

Nashville is amazing! I will be there in June for CMA Fest! Best city ever!!

We are considering going to MNSSHP but unsure yet of our final plans... my friend and I aren't that into Halloween yet im sure the party is great! We might just do Magic Kingdom during the day, we'll see....

SIX MONTHS UNTIL WE SAIL!!!!

:dance3:

Awesome!!!:goodvibes

We made our reservation for the 2 nights prior to the cruise to stay at the Ron Jon Resort at the port. We are so excited about this place!:cool2: So our plans are a full day at MK on Thursday and a nice relaxing day at Ron Jon and the beach on Friday.:beach: We really wanted to do MNSSHP, but it would make for an exhausting first day on the cruise since we like to get to the terminal early.:sad2: At least we will get a chance to enjoy a park on our vacation without wearing ourselves out.:goodvibes And we really wanted to make sure we took our cruise name "From Fantasyland to the Fantasy" literally.:)

I bought our plane tickets. I'm not sure that I won't change things around though. I'm worried about DD being away from home for so long. I know she will miss DH, but I'm not sure if she can manage for two weeks. Right now this is what I have:

Tue - arrive @ BWV around 10am - ???
Wed - ???
Thu - ???
Fri - Pirate Adventure for DD / MNSSHP 4pm to midnight
Sat -FANTASY! :cool1:

Sat - (debarkation day) arrive @ AKL around 11am - ???
Sun - ??? / MNSSHP 4pm to midnight
Mon - sleep in, swim / DME to airport around 5pm

I already have a reservation for BWV, so that's a definite. I'm unsure about the extra days at the end though, so I might change that.

**IF** we keep the long trip, we can get a one day park hopper as I originally planned, and hit our favorites at DHS, AK and Epcot on Thursday before the cruise. We could also attend a YES homeschool class on Wednesday, and get longer park hoppers (for almost the same price) so that we could spend more time in the parks.

As usual, my trip is spiraling out of control, LOL. I went from a relaxing four days at BWV, with one park day and one MNSSHP...to looking at an additional three days at AKL, a YES class, and more park time. :faint: :rotfl:
