How was your cruise aboard the "Magic"? My husband and I love that ship and I am sure you do as well! I can only imagine the good times you and you family had

We just got back from our Disneyland trip. It was really good to see the park again and to experience everything that is Disney, but nothing compares to DCL for Alan and I. We can't wait to get to the Beach Club as our September 2012 vacation will officially begin.

We are really looking forward to seeing fellow cruisers again and to meet everyone here on the DIS Boards.

My wife and I had a great time onboard the Magic our first trip on her.
We were suppose to port in Key West but the winds were to strong so we had an extra day at sea before heading to Nassau. The entire cruise had high winds we almost didn't get to put our feet in the sands of Castaway Cay but the captain was able to get us in, it took some time to back the ship in but the Captain did a great job.

I bought both disney princess and toy story bags at target a couple of months ago. They were in the dollar section at the front of the store. I don't know if they still have any, we live about two hours from the nearest one, but it might be worth a try.

Hey everyone!

Sorry I've been so quiet...have had a lot going on! I'm currently trying to throw together a Jessie (from Toy Story) birthday party for Sarah for....oh...next week! Ack!

Anyhoo, Ron showed me a thread on the main DCL board regarding vibration at the back of the ship on Fantasy. We have two of the aft facing rooms and some of the reports from that thread are concerning. Even moreso that it was after the Easterns that these complaints began to show up. I suspect it may be an issue due to the longer distances and higher speeds the ship needs to travel on an Eastern (as opposed to just hopping over to the Bahamas on the Dream. )

I'm sure if it is as bad as it sounds DCL is working to do something to alleviate the problem. it's probably a thread you should check out if you have a room towards the aft of the ship though...
