I was wondering how good the new Pirates Party is? I really liked the old one with Mickey saving the day and I need a hero playing during the fireworks. I'm trying to stay away from youtube but It's getting harder every day. lol

We were on the Dream in September, and didn't like any of the parties. I didn't do the sail away because oldest ds wanted to watch them take the ship out, but oldest dd said it was like a big advertisement for all there was to do, not enough dancing, etc. Same for the pirate party. A lot of the old songs weren't included, and to our recollection, no "I need a hero" and no Mickey repelling down like the 82nd Airborne to save the day. We did back to back, and didn't even go to the parties on the second cruise, and oldest dd loves them.

She wants to add-- there was no "Ahoy there mates..." song. Huge disappointment for her (and me, I admit it.)

Thanks for the info, I kind of figured it wouldn't be as good. 1 more question Does the AquaDuck shade the pool area alot? I enjoy sitting by the kids area watching the movies and stuff, but I like doing it in the sun.

Update on my new job. I think I am really going to like it. It is so exciting getting to learn new activities in the field I have choosen. I love the folks I work with.

Oh, I am getting sad now. I loved both the sail away and Pirates Party. Well, I guess that just gives us more time to explore the ship. Maybe we will enjoy sailing out on another part of the ship or on our verandah....I was disappointed to hear that Mickey doesn't repel down at the Pirates Party anymore....but change is good, right????

I can check off one more thing off the to do list, just purchased our MNSSHP tickets for Sept. 30.
Time is flying in 36 days I can start booking excursions, Remy and Palo for sea days before we know it we'll be sailing away.

Disney has today announced the official lineup for this year's 'Eat to the Beat Concert Series'. The concerts are part of the International Food and Wine Festival, and are included with your Epcot park admission. The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will run from September 28 – November 11, 2012.
This is who will be performing when we are there.

I've bought my MNSSHP tickets on monday> I was calling from starbucks. That's a little funny because as you may know starting in june mickey will start selling starbucks in the parks. I think it's just going to be the MK and DCA in disneyland and four other parks. I hope they have it durring the party. My two great passions,Disney and starbucks.

Hey Jessica... Wanted to say hello and have a GREAT trip... Seems someone in your party will be staying in the same room we stayed in for the April 14, 2012 Fantasy trip. We were in Room 9086 and absolutely loved it!! So much so we rebooked for next April IN THE SAME ROOM!!! Ok, there are a few other reasons we rebooked as well Anyway, I hope you all have a great trip. You're going to love the Fantasy!!! and make sure you keep the room clean...

We were able to see Chimpanzee onboard the Magic to a full house it was great. Tim Allen does a good job narrating.

We just got back from our Disneyland trip. It was really good to see the park again and to experience everything that is Disney, but nothing compares to DCL for Alan and I. We can't wait to get to the Beach Club as our September 2012 vacation will officially begin.

It sleams like time is now going by faster. We are i belive at 137. I ordered my MNSSHP ticket on tuesday. It should have by the end of this week. Have a question for you. Has anyone ordered the birthday package from DCL? I've read the cake isn't that good and the cake comes with the package. I still have enough time to order it. Also dose any one have any ideals where to buy good china and crystal and table cloths and napkins? I've heard there are several stores on St. Maarten and St Thomas but i want to go to only one or two.

Howdy, It is hard to believe that yet another weekend is gone. It is back to work in the morning. So far the new job has gone well but I have so much to learn.

I have a question. Is there anyone else in this DIS Group that is eating Gluten Free? I am intolerant (I believe) and am trying to go gluten free but it is very hard. Woukld love some suggestions and personal experence from someone who has been here.

I must have cruise fever! I watched the "Fantasy" leave port yesterday and the "Dream" leave today on the Port Canaveral webcam, very cool how they zoom in on the upper decks to see the people waving good by......wish I were one of them!!
