...Today my DD's are dressed as princesses getting ready for the cruise....

Aw how cute!! princess: :goodvibes princess: Sadly no princesses here - just grumpy boys as their soccer team lost...

OMG!! Our's too!! Jordan is 3 and her speech has not progressed as expected and her speech therapist suggested she see an ENT. Don't know why the pedetrician did not catch this sooner. Will be thinking of them both on Monday. Wish we could be there to distract the parents.

Packing? We aren't leaving until Thursday. Plenty of time. I was thinking of Thursday morning myself.

Wow, what a coincidence! Are they taking her tonsils as well? The doctor said that she won't do that until Lexy is 3. She doesn't turn 2 till this November. She already had tubes put in during the winter. But she just hasn't progressed well and is still getting ear infections. One of the tubes fell out and they ended up removing the other one to prepare for the new ones she is getting on Monday. I hope this does the trick. It has to be tough not being there. But I am sure all will go well. :flower3:

It sounds like everyone else is trying to pack today too. I am just finishing the laundry. I am trying to make sure that whatever clothes I take on the business trip are ones that I am not planning to take on the cruise. If I can succeed with this task, I won't have to do a load of laundry late Wednesday night. I made a list of all the food items that Steve is to buy while I am gone to take on the trip. I have to be careful, Steve will only buy what is on the list. So I have to make sure it has everything we need for the trip down and a few things for the room at BCV after the cruise.
Like Coffee!

Well, back to packing! :)

I can't believe it's getting so close!! I really have to get packing! My fellow admin assistant is on vacation this week so that means twice the work load for me at work this week. :sad2:

It's stressing me out a little bit. I know I have packing to do and house cleaning (there's someone staying at our house with the dog) so I hope I don't have to work too much overtime on top of that.

I'll just keep taking deep breaths and listening to my Castaway Cay CD!! If it doesn't get done then, oh well. I'm going on a crusie!!!

Can't wait to meet you all soon!

I'll be thinking of the little girls who have to have surgery.

Hope everyone has had a great weekend!

It sounds like were all doing the same thing. We've got our luggage out and the piles of clothing are starting to form in our living room.
We figure get some done today, since we both have very busy work weeks planned with little time at night. We fly from Toronto in the early am friday.
Thanks to everyone who has posted lists of things to pack. We actually found something from each list we didn't think of.
For those driving and leaving early in the week. Drive safely.
Were looking forward to putting faces to names on saturday. We'll be easy to pick out of a crowd. Just look for a pregnant woman with husband and 11 year old daughter saying eh! alot. That'll be us.

Thanks again Marsha for keeping up the website for us. I just made a copy of everyone from this board on the cruise from the your site. That was very handy. I know that I will still have trouble remembering. But it should give me some help. See You Soon!

I asked this on the main board, but thought I would ask here too. Does anyone know if the plug in the bathroom works for electric toothbrushes?

you are welcome but i know i haven't updated lately with some new folks. sorry guys for not getting some on you on there the last couple weeks/months.

just been a little hectic around here but again i apologize if i have left anyone off.

Had a long day today. Kathy had been having chest pains and we went and she had a cardiac catheterization done in the cardiac cath lab. The fluoroscope had broken and we had to wait 6 hours for the technicians to come and fix it. We arrived at the hospital at 6 am and did not leave until 6 pm tonight. Everything turned out fine with her heart. Had to get this girl and tune up and an oil change, before we cruised.:thumbsup2 Mike

What a scare! So glad everything turned out well.

Hello everyone! Hope your Sunday's going well... :goodvibes

We've made the final purchases for our trip this afternoon - well, DH has, I personally refuse to commit to such a statement! Who knows what shopping opportunities will present themself between now and Friday..? ;)

DH has just got the cases are down from the attic so time to get serious - I'm almost too excited!!! :cheer2: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cool1:

Buying all sorts of things at the last minute here Karen. If I keep going I am sure I will be bringing 3 suitcases instead of 2. :lmao:

Hope all of you are having great fun getting ready for our cruise?

Eva, I hope everything goes well with your DGD. Have a safe trip to Chicago and a safe drive if you don't get back on the boards. We will see you on Saturday and the meet. I cannot remember if the plugs work the electric toothbrush. I am thinking no because I plugged my hair dryer in by the desk, but that may have just been for convenience. Sorry!

Yep, sounds like we are all doing the same thing...Laundry, packing and getting last minute things. My list keeps growing!!! Oh well!

See you all on Saturday!!

Kathy

Hope that everyones surgeries goes well. More packing and stuff to do. Mike

Hope that everyone is having a great day. Mike

Was reading through the latest Western Navigators and came across a Wii Bowling Tournament.

OH YEAH!!!!!!! :cool2:

What is the dress code for this night? Does anyone know? Can my husband go in T-Shirt and shorts. We found great Pirate T's at Target and would love to put them on for the party. Not so sure if they will let them pass at dinner time.

Thanks;
Mimi
:wizard:

They Give you black bandanas with Skulls on them.

I am planning on wearing Jeans and a Pirate T-shirt.
Then I will adorn one of the fashionable bandanas.

Do you think Shorts are ok?? Im talking bermuda type shorts, nothing skimpy.

Port Traffic.

Cruise Cal has following info

9/23 Key West
Carnival Glory
Disney Magic

9/25 Grand Cayman
Carnival Legend
Disney Magic

9/26 Cozumel
4 ships in Port
Carnival Legend
Disney Magic
Enchantment of the Seas
Holiday

Anyone have opinions on what 4 ships in port at Cozumel translates to?
I searched more popular times and saw as many as 6 ships in port one day.

:confused3

I did not know pirates wore Bermuda shorts. :confused3

There is so much discussion on cruise wear in the dining room it drives me crazy. Personally it does not matter to me as I would not be offended either way.

I can only state that on my Pirate night I did not see a lot of people in shorts. Granted it was a Jan cruise so it was a bit chilly on deck.

IMHO Pirate night is the most relaxed nite.
