September 22, 2007 -- WESTERN

I am getting very excited. :cool1: :dance3: :yay:

Few things I never got to try last time on my first(and only) 4 nighter.
Basically I was up at crack of dawn and burnt myself out by 10pm.

I am very anxious to try the desserts I have read about in the Cove Cafe that are no additional charge.

I actually never made it to Deck 10

I hear there are wings at the adult bar. (aka Virgin Bar)

Want to see a movie once kids go to bed in theater Although Steve went to a movie every night after I went to sleep.

Fireworks. I was on the Port Side so did not see them from balcony.

Perhaps the Spa. Never even saw it.

Only had Fish Sandwich and Fries at Plutos. I hear other stuff is good. Never been to Pluto's, Goofy's Galley, Scoops, or the pizza place. Yikes! What did I eat for lunch on the last two cruises????

Never found one of the overlooked public decks.

Never sat in comfy chair on Deck 4 Great place to hang out before dinner at Animator's Palate.

Never played shuffleboard

.......

Wow. There is so much I have not done!!!! :cool1:
It's a big Blue World!!!
I must show my 5 year old the whole boat. She is so deprived. :lmao:
Actually it is impossible to pry her from the Oceaneers Club. :sad2:

Same here! :thumbsup2 My previous 3 night Wonder cruise was just a little taster and I can't wait to experience more this time around.

Never even found Topsiders/Beach Blanket! It's funny, but I think this is the only place that we ate breakfast and lunch for the last two cruises.

Popped in the Spa but didn't have any treatments.

Didn't see all the shows. We saw all the shows on the last cruise and may skip a couple this time.

Never found time for relaxing by the adult pool. Ahhh, a BBC by the pool.

Palo's Brunch!!!!   Too much food! Too much food!

Never had a verandah before and looking forward to enjoying the space... I'm dreaming of sitting on mine right now. Your cat. 3 ought to have a fabulous verandah.

I could go on but I've got about a million chores to do!

Bye for now!

Great ideas! Some I haven't tried myself. So I highlighted those that I intend to do too. Plus:

* Stay up later and sleep in a bit more in the morning! And enjoy more late nights in the clubs!
* Try out the exercise room.
* Go to some of the Disney's Art of Entertaining events.
* Try to catch some of the Adult Pool Games.

Ok, that is making me tired just thinking about it. I may have to cut back my list or I'll be

Don't tell anyone, but I'm thinking I might join the Spin classes... :scared1:

I may pass on the exericse classes.
However I think I may want the experience of a treadmill with an ocean view while moving. I think it is a neat concept that I am exercising stationary on a moving vessel.

I forgot about the clubs. I have 2 and 5 year old so clubs last time did not happen. However party is 9 this time so I may have to bust a move.:woohoo:
Or listen to the piano and try a cigar. :rolleyes1

I have a category 8 booked. So any upgrade will involve verandah.
Thought long and hard about this one but it was $600.

I missed out on the Dreams show. I actually still have not seen Pirates 3.
So I am hoping to catch that. Once kids came the concept of me going to the theatre(locally) has not existed. High School Musical 2 I am sure will be on the DD's list. Because there is a chance even though they will have seen it 100 times by then it may end differntly on the ship.

I think I am most looking forward to the 3 new ports I have not been to and most importantly the 3 additional evening menus. Got my "Tux" all set. Looks like my black suit but with a different tie and shirt. I then rip the sleeves off for pirate night. Very versatile.

I don't think I have the guts for that. But I plan on doing a quick run on the treadmill and a bit of weight training a few days during the cruise. A run or brisk walk on deck 4 sounds pretty good too. I really have to push myself to exercise. I'm definitely not a fitness buff.

hello there, my DW , Gail , and i , Dennis , are gonna be onboard for this sailing. we have read most of the pages . we will be celebrating gail's 50th birthday on this trip. it will be our 3rd disney cruise. once each on both the Magic and the Wonder, but not recently. we have been on several other cruises, but i won't use any names.
anyway , while we are in cozumel we are planning to go to the tequila factory tour and then visit a few beach bars on the east coast in the morning, before hitting the beach for the afternoon. we were wondering if anyone would be interested in this and possibly sharing a taxi / van ??
we are also looking forward to the margarita tasting -- apparently we like drinking tequila .
looking forward to meeting everyone ..happy sailing

Welcome aboard Dennis!

I can't believe you have read alot of the past posts:surfweb: :surfweb:

It must have taken forever. :coffee:

Caught the Boston 4th of July fireworks on TV last night, wow! what a show. Just another a reminder of fireworks at sea.

For the other treadmillers.....we'll probably be right beside watching the ocean go by..

Cheers, from the DH

DO like the idea of the tequila factory tour, unforetunately we going try and book onto the ruins tour. Count me in at the margarita tasting, and probably any other tasting I can do...My pregnant wife will be at the juice bar, probably with other pregnant and it sounds like they will be guarded by men in tights. Sounds normal for Disney!

Aboard Dennis and Gail!

The tequila factory tour sounds great, but we have already reserved the jeep tour for Cozumel. There are a number of us that will be at the margarita tasting on the first sea day (Monday) of the cruise.

REMINDER: Everyone, be sure to buy your tickets for this event at Guest Services!

Welcome aboard Gail and Dennis. We are all glad to have you onboard with us. Mike

Welcome Dennis and Gail...
Dont let all our cruisers scar you off. They all mean well... Jury is still out with the men in tights!:lmao:

Welcome again...

Ann :flower3:

Morning all! :wave2:

Finally got around to checking out my stash of vacation clothes yesterday and, I'm relieved to discover, most of 'em look fine! :thumbsup2 Just need to try a couple of items on and after that I'll be good to go. :woohoo: Later today, I'll persuade my DS to bring down the luggage from the attic and maybe I can even pack..?!

I am really going to miss you all over the next three/four weeks as I'll have limited internet access but I'll try and get online to keep up with your posts - maybe DH's Blackberry will be user-friendly for a change...? :confused3

As for the weekend, we have a big all-day school event tomorrow as DS breaks-up for the summer. Prize-givings, speeches, exhibitions and random student-orientated events - that sort of thing! It'll be something of an endurance test but once the clock strikes 5, we'll strip off our parental outfits to reveal Alice Cooper "Schools Out" tee-shirts and be the first ones out of there!!!

On Sunday, we're making the 6 hour or so round-trip to Birmingham which is a city in Central England. DH and I were born and grew up here - tho' TBH it's a grim place and I never enjoy returning. :sad2: We're visiting his mother and sister who are possibly two of my least favourite people in the world! And yes, they love me too... ;)

Karen have a safe and wonderful holiday in Spain. Watch out for those oiled and tanned young pool boys:lmao: :rotfl2: . You can sleep safely at night knowing that the pregnant virgin protectors in tights are on the job.:rotfl:

Welcome Aboard From the Whole Goofy Gang!

Birmingham huh...

Have not been there.

I have been to London and to Leeds.

I assume you are going to fly out of London.

Are you going to arrive early and purchase a fancy new digital camera?

I have several work colleagues from the UK that I have to take shopping for
cameras, golf clubs, and DVDs.
