Happy Monday everyone! :goodvibes :wave::goodvibes

Hope you all had a great weekend - I've managed to hurt my dodgy back and I'm very annoyed with myself! :mad: Don't know what I've done or how but it's flippin' sore!!! A few years back, I was off my feet for months due to damaged hip ligaments and I'm terrified of a repeat performance - so I have to take the resting thing seriously... :sad2:

Watched the Concert for Diana yesterday. So glad the weather was OK - we've had terrible rain here lately so it could've been a complete washout! I was v impressed with the two princes - they handled themselves and the event really well. Diana would've been v proud of them...

Don't think we'll be bringing a laptop - tho' it depends on luggage space TBH... ;)

Gosh! Every time I come back to the boards it's like reading a novel! I need to check in more often! I have to say, I've gotten a major laugh from the virgin protector outfits! Be careful, if too many protectors are running around in uniform it could catch on & become a theme night!

Okay, our party of three might be turning into a party of four. As we get closer to our sailing date I am getting more hesitant about leaving Baby Tegan behind. I've been getting opinions from others who have cruised with infants, and it seems that the most daunting part is the packing of all the baby needs. So while it's not official, we might be FourSmiths instead of ThreeSmiths on the cruise! How can I leave this cheeky monkey behind????

What a sweetheart. I know it would be difficult to leave a cutie like that behind. I know that it was tough when I left my youngest when she was about that age. We were living in Germany and my DD was crawling fairly well. It was tough to get her to stay in a stroller or pack for more than an hour and we were going with DH parents to tour Austria for 5 days. I knew it would be miserable on her if we took her. But I still felt bad leaving her.

Oh Karen, I hope your back starts feeling better real soon. :flower3:

Karen take care of that back. We retired from the CSX railway after 28 years of working on the tracks due to bad back. Have had two surgeries and I am some what limited in what I can do. Get plenty of rest and take it easy lady.

Talked to Marsha this weekend, and we are going to meet up with her while we are in Orlando on the 15th. Sort of a meet and greet thing, with a little dinner thrown in for good measure. Mike

Thanks Mike - I certainly will. :thumbsup2 I know from bitter experience that back issues are no joy at all... :sad2:

OH yeah looking forward to meeting papa (mike and kathy) on the 15th. It will be like a little DIS meet. And after that he can't change mine of linking dinners LOL after seeing I really am a nutcase LOL.

I know we don't have that long before we cruise but sure wish it was Sept already <G>

I am soooo ready for September... it's 115 today with 4% humity.
The pool isnt that cool either:confused3

Now for the good news... ONE DAY CLOSER TO VACATION!:cool1: :banana:

99.9% of the people here are nutcases. Why else are we able to go through life bearing the burdens that we do.:lmao: :rotfl2: Everyone here is my kind of people, people that love to cruise and love Disney. Mike

Eva...I saw what you had said on that other thread reguarding dinning rotations...and took your tip of e-mailing the reservation to myself....:confused: It say's we'll have the 8:30 rotation. I was really hoping for the 8pm rotation and had put in a request a while back. I hope there's still a chance of the request being honored...but I'm going to do my best to not let the 1/2 hour diffrence get my down. I just remember from last time we crusied (before the varied dinning times) we had late dinning and quite often didn't get out of the dinning room in enough time to find a seat in the night clubs. :guilty: On the first crusie we also had late dinnng and somehow made it out in plenty of time to find seats at the night club...:confused3 Anyhow...I think our group was hoping to get the earler late seating inorder to make it out in time. Especially on Pirates night.

I guess all I can do is hope at this point.... ;)

We also have the 8:30 pm rotation. Mike

Papa....Maybe some one gave them the idea that we were trouble makers...so there putting us in the very last rotation.....trying to hide us or keep us 'busy' as late as possable.:goodvibes

Do you happen to know what rotation that is?? I requested the APL rotation...but I thought that was the earler time (8pm).

I guess it really dosen't matter. The MAIN reason I wanted the earler time was to make it to the night clubs and night time activites after dinner.

OMG...I TOTALLY forgot about the experience we had on Pirate night. I don't know how much it actually had to do with us having the late seating but we totally rushed through dinner then rushed out to the deck for the party. That's where we ran into the most rude group of ladies. We'll actually only one stands out in my mind. Anyways we found a very very small spot at the rail up above the actual party. Since it was so small my dh and I stood back and let our girls have the rail.... When out of nowhere this lady tells them they can't stand there because they'd been sitting at this table for a long time and they were to 'close' to their area:confused3 OMG.... I couldn't belive it. Good for them getting a table and chairs...but you really can't expect that if your table isn't at the rail that your going to keep the whole 5ft space between you, the table and the rail totally clear when both decks are elbow to elbow people. :confused: I tryed to brush it off as much as possable and yes...I did let my kids stay up there. :goodvibes Memories...

Sandi, I read a thread some time back that said the emails show the 6pm time for all main seatings and 8.30pm for all late - it's DCL's default setting so don't be too concerned. :) Plus I'm sure you can change once onboard...

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

Sandi on the 8:30 rotation we have had LAP rotation. I don't know Disney's rhyme or reason, but just go with the flow. Mike
