September 2016 Trip Thread!!!!

September can't get here fast enough! I am also anxiously awaiting the announcement of the Halloween party dates. Hoping there will be one going on while we are there

If you'll say what dates you are going, I'll add you to the list.

If you're going later in Sept., Haunted Mansion will have the Nightmare before Christmas overlay (which we love) and they have FP for it, so you shouldn't actually have to wait that long, LOL! Anyway, it's a fast loader so even during busy times it's one of the better waits.

I have those crazy DL dreams, too, with weird rides and long waits and odd characters.

Just FYI...the Gamestop Managers conference is there the week of Sept. 12...not sure how that affects crowds.

I was just reading the thread about the horrible parking situations, ( none of which apply to us, because we're staying at the BW Park Place Inn.) and the thing that caught my eye was that people were talking about it being 102 degrees in September last year. Is this normal September weather???? I'm scared now!

We went in September 2013 and no way was it that hot. I think last year there were record setting temps in September but that is not the norm.

To get me even more excited about our trip my brother in law sent me a gift!! He has an AP....

Our first visit there was in September 2014 and it was around 100 degrees every day we were there. To us it didn't feel hot since there wasn't any humidity and in Pennsylvania we have a lot of humidity in the summertime.

Last year was and exceptionally hot year and not the norm at all.
We have gone in Sept. many times (except last year) and have never had heat like that. Statistics show the avg. high's to be in the upper 80's and that has been our experience. It's a nice time of year to visit.

Again, that high of temps is not the norm as is evidenced by National weather service statistics.
However, it's Southern Ca. and it can be over 100 degrees almost any time of year.
