We got our MagicBands in the mail Friday and our lunch order is placed for BOG! Now comes the L-O-N-G-E-S-T three weeks ever, nothing but waiting!!

23 DAYS LEFT!!

Also, I see alot of you talking about the pressed pennys. Where can you get a pressed penny book and what is the roundabout price of them? I though of giving this as a gift for one of our friends daughters' upcoming WDW trip.

DH and I got both sets of MagicBands last week and we're now 22 days out! I'm so excited that I printed out our packing list and started to get the non-essential items together as well as some of the clothes I'm going to wear. Our luggage is tucked away in our storage locker in our apartment so I'll wait until DH gets home to bring those up and get things packed. He wants to wait another 2 weeks, but I don't want to!

I don't have any of the books (yet), but judging by Amazon and Ebay, on average they're around $10.

@LadyDiznee123 Have you seen this site for a pressed coins list? It's so organized and they turn into a booklet! I love it! I'll have to print these out and highlight the ones I want.

I went a little overboard and pretty much packed everything except for the essential toiletries, electronics, and other miscellaneous things that I use nearly every day. I even packed an outfit in my carry-on! I have a good amount of room in both bags for souvenirs. Now I really don't know what to do with myself for the next three weeks. Our printer ran out of ink and because it's so old we have to order it online so I can't print out any info like resort and meal confirmations until the ink comes in. These last few weeks are going to go by so slow!

Yeah DH and I were having a conversation the other night and we leave on a Friday morning, but Thursday night we have a ton of stuff to do so he brings up packing. He says he wants to be all packed by Monday night...I laughed and said oh we will be packed in time don't worry. I already have everything folded and per person on a table in the laundry room ready to be packed and have already set August 22nd as packing day (three weeks before we leave) so it is pretty safe to say we will be packed by Monday night lol.

I've been distracted now with getting our new baby's room together. DH will be prepping and painting this weekend. Lots of stuff to do around the house!

If I didn't plan on wearing some of the clothes I'm bringing to Disney, I would have packed already too! I did pack my carry-on pretty much though and I started getting all of my travel toiletries together. I have my daily itineraries ready and my daily budget tracker, bu I'm afraid to print them off because I know once I do I'll want to make changes to something

Any suggestions on how to surprise my mom when we move to Animal Kingdom Lodge? We will be checking out of ASsp and heading to AK for the day, I was thinking of saying we'd be having lunch at Sanaa?

Lol! That weekend is the weekend DH wants to start his packing since we leave about a week and a half after that. He can worry about packing then. I have a lot more clothes than he does so I can pack pretty early and still have plenty of clothes to wear before the trip. I have the day off before we leave so I can spend the day putting together all the stuff we use between now and the trip.

I'm going to try and convince my mother to let us stay over the night before, especially since they'll most likely be keeping DH's dog while we're gone. Our flight is at 6:05am and the airport we're going to is a 45 minute drive. We live about 20 minutes from O'Hare airport, but we couldn't find any good deals there. My mother starts work at 6:30am so she'll be driving us and I don't need her to get up extra early to pick us up when we can just sleep on an air mattress in the living room.

I bought a pack coin tubes from Hobby Lobby. It was $2 and change after using a 40% off coupon. It comes with 5 tubes and can hold 40 coins each. I thought that was perfect since I want a tube for each park plus one for DTD/Resorts. We have pennies soaking in vinegar right now and I can't wait to get everything set up! That gives me one thing to do while I twiddle my thumbs and wait for the next 21 days to go by.

I have a change to my plans that I haven't mentioned yet. I will no be at ASsp 8/28-8/31, and then moving to AKL 8/31-9/5. So many changes over the past month, but finally happy with my resort choices!

Yay, another vegetarian!!! We are staying at VGF, it will be our first DVC trip, another reason I'm super excited. I've dreamed at staying at the GF for 20 years now!

It must be difficult some times to be the only vegetarian, but at WDW it's great knowing that you can find something interesting to eat everywhere you go!

Your trip sounds awesome (sorry for reposting an oldie, but I'm still catching up on this board). V&A is amazing. My wife and I did it for our 1st wedding anniversary (but that was 12-yrs ago). Our disney trips are a little different now with 3 kiddos, but we will definitely go back one of these trips.

This will be our first trip using DVC too. So excited!!! It seems like we bought into DVC so long ago, but finally using it. Our home resort is BLT so we are staying there, but I hope to do VGF on our next trip. Is VGF your home resort? I ask because I'm curious as to the booking availability there at the 7-month mark.
