I would just use your best judgement when you are there. I concur that the teacups might not be the best idea, as well as any other "bumpy" rides (the safari in AK comes to mind).

Thanks for the links Bummer about the signing The dr. sold us a cast protector thing to use around water. Since he just broke it today he couldn't waterproof it. Maybe we will switch a waterpark day to a DisneyQuest day. Anyone ever try that before?

I got a facebook link about what is going on Oct 1st.

The only two scheduled events are a 10am presentation at the Castle forecourt stage and 9pm Wishes with special celebration fireworks.

There are also special 40th anniversary cupcakes at Main Street Bakery ( I will be there with bells on!!!) I will for SURE get pics.

I am sure other stuff will be going on too.

well now what am I supposed to do to pass the time LOL

I've done all the laundry, cleaned the kitchen, vaccumed, mopped, cleaned the bathroom, bathed myself and the munchkin, I have all the suitcases and stuff out and ready to be packed in the car when hubby gets home. i've done everything I can think of lol. I even stalked dominos facebook page and won a free pizza for dinner tonight which is awesome because we were planning on having pizza anyways lol. (thanks to basketkat for sending me all the money saving and coupon links on facebook)

DD's cough doesn't sound nice but she's still in a happy mood so I'm just getting hubby to pick up some vicks vaporub on the way home to help with the cough and being stuffed up.

12 hours from now we will already be on the road.

I am already strarting to plan my bday trip for next Sept, and found David's DVC rental on the DIS. Have any of you rented from him?

I am leaning towards BWV because I love EPCOT and what a great way to be close!!

Any tips you could give me or personal stories would be great! TIA

DISfamily - can you all do me a favor? My son broke his arm this morning We just got home from getting the cast. Is there a link to advice for traveling with kids with broken bones or rides to avoid type of thing? Thank you so much for any help, I am super busy right now and can't look anything up.

Driving went really smooth today until we got to the Washington Spur I'll hopefully get to check back in tomorrow.

4am and i can't sleep - leave for Disney in 7 hrs.... gonna be a long day... the kids are all so excited - once they started believeing us that we were going to Disney - they actually thought we were pulling a joke on them... don't know how to take that... oh well, they are excited now - can't wait to get there...
