Oh man...I wish we could all move it!!!!

I like to move it, move it, I like to...oh wait - that's not Disney (but still reminded me of it.)

With our trip exactly 2 weeks from today....I should be cleaning, and packing, and organizing....I made a Mickey wreath for fall!!!

You crack me up - really cute wreath - love those fall colours!

I am getting 8 Mr. Potato Head mouse ear hats with our parts at DTD to give as favors to all the kiddos. DD plays with those Disney MPH parts almost every day and I think we might need to get the BIG plastic head of parts again.

Great idea! We LOVE our Mr. Potato Head parts and get more each visit. Which reminds me to take a picture of the pieces we have before we go!

One more day yay!

I've spent all day packing, cleaning the house, and getting the pets ready for Granny to care of them while we're gone. All I've got left is baking up a batch of cookies, taking a shower, and relaxing!

Relaxing sounds so nice! I'm still stressing and feel like I still have a ton to do before we leave on Tuesday

SO we went to the mall today to get a backpack (http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/search/pid1217557-PTH-174-Victory-Backpack/1217557-001&FSR=1) (which I did), but we also made our way to the Disney store. We got shirts for the boys, one for the way down and one for the MNSSHP. I also got one for myself for the way down and the MNSSHP. I was going to get one for DH but he didn't answer me when I called....so just another excuse to go back ...lol

Very cute shirts! I picked up DDs Minnie ghost shirts from the Disney store that say So cute, it's scary They probably won't wear them until closer to Halloween when we get back though Their suitcase is already way too full as it is

I'm also thinking ahead to DD's Mickey Mouse Club (oldschool) themed birthday party that's on Oct. 8th. Love the idea of using Potato head parts as favors! Sounds like it will be a fun party!

We're staying at a hotel near the airport the night before since we have to check in for our flight by 4 am and it's an hour away from where we live. So, my plan is to pick up the kids from school. Tell them I entered a contest on the hotels website and won a free night stay which had to be used that night, thus the reason we're going somewhere on a school night. Going to tell them we're going to a waterpark the next day since we're probably not going to make it back for school on time anyways, and that their teachers are good with it since they're still basically doing review from the previous year. THEN, when they go to sleep, I'm going to set the clocks ahead so when our alarm goes off at 3 in the morning they won't get suspicious! They'll probably raise their eyebrows when we go outside to get in the van and it's still pitch dark but I'm hoping I can just brush it off until they get in the van. Then, I'm putting invitations from Mickey and the Gang on each of their seats in the van! I'm hoping to video tape the moment but hopefully the hotel has bright enough outdoor lights so I can catch their reactions clearly!!! I got their invites from Mickey from this amazing DISer.

Surprise trips are the best! We surprised our girls a few years ago and they still talk about how great it was to be totally surprised! Such good memories

I am so glad it stopped raining finally. There was even a little sun late this afternoon. I am going to lack more stuff tonight for our trip. I have things put in a box, but I really want to start putting it in suitcases. We are going to be packing two suitcases and sharing with the kids. I don't want to pay to check four bags. I think we are also going to bring a small suitcase for carry on.

I was getting nervous that I had made a mistake about the start date for F and W. I wanted to make sure that we could hit it up while we are there. So much to do in such a short trip. My principal still hasn't approved my personal leave. It shouldn't be a problem but I don't know shy it's taking so long.

I can't wait to get outside and do something this weekend. Happy traveling to anyone leaving soon! Our day will be here soon enough.

We land in MCO at 3:30pm so Im figuring by the time we get to ME and to our hotel it will be close to 5. Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm that night and AK will be closed so our options are Epcot, DTD or DHS. It wont be a late night since DH will have been up since 3am since he is working before we head to the airport; I figure he will be exhausted by 8pm. He said he is on vacation so he doesnt care, but I dont want to start out with a grumpy DH! Any suggestions???

You can totally make it! I promise it was easy!!! The base is wire wreaths that I got at Hobby Lobby- one large and two smaller ones. The leaves are from garland that I cut off, and hot glued onto the wreaths. Then I just glued the little decorations on. I attached the "ears" onto the "head" with wire.
I promise...it is easy!!!

Our first night we are just going to eat at CSR, and swim. But we are getting in a little later than you. I think I would go to Epcot or DTD if I were you!

My suggestion would be to check out the resort or head to DTD. You'll have a chance to relax, get some rest and be fully charged for the next morning.
