Thank you for the welcome! We have girls the same age too. My DH has been to WDW before and marched in a parade for band, but for the rest of us this this will be our first trip. I am so excited!
Everyones posts and pictures are making me long for the days when my children were little. All but one of my four has graduated and moved out of state to college.
On the bright side my oldest daughter is pregnant with a little girl. Maybe I can just dress my granddaughter up and take her to WDW in a couple of years.
Really, it depends on what materials are used on the outfits. Most designer say to hand wash and hang to dry, but I'm a little risky sometimes and will machine wash, inside out, in cold water on the gentlest cycle possible and then air fluff in the dryer. I usually bring a Tide-to-go pen with me so if DD gets anything on an outfit, I can treat it right away. If you plan to resell them, they have to be in SUPERB condition, so I'm always very careful. She eats with a bib on when she is wearing her custom sets. LOL! It's not a "babyish" bib, but just something to cover her. I have the funniest picture of her eating a large soft serve ice cream cone at MK in 2008. I had taken the dress part off, put a bib on her, and jacket over her lap!She INSISTED on the chocolate ice cream and I KNEW it would melt super fast!!
Here she is in the full outfit...before the disrobing for ice cream. lol

And.....yummy! (This was before I put the jacket in her lap)

ForTheLoveOfDCL...that you're learning how to sew! I love the custom boutique clothing but it is soo expensive and doubly so for me because I have two that I need to dress
I think my 4 year old will fit in some of my 7 year olds clothes from our 1st trip. I'm not going to do too much this time I don't think. It's just so Hot and Humid in September and I want my girls to be comfortable. And I don't think my hot glue would hold up to well in the Florida sun if I tried to put some outfits together myself,

Here are a couple of ours.

Sharon from Mimisgirls worked with me to create this FAB set! This one will run you about $80-90. She makes the PERFECT knit applique tanks that are usually around $30-ish. Look at her FB page. She can do any characters you wish. The majority of that price was the super-ruffly skirt I wanted! However, me....trying to be budgeted-minded, had her create the skirt to also match another knit tank she was making for Mikella to wear on our trip to the beach in SC in June! So the skirt will work with both shirts! If you search her pics on her FB page, you can find the cute lobster tank she made for us to match the skirt.

That picture of you two with Sully is awesome!

My friend made a new listing with more pins. You can go here if you want to buy one/some.![]()
I bought some easter gifts last week during the 25% off of everything that was already 40% off sale and seeing a huge disney box on my steps made meI am loving all your pics. It is nice putting faces with Dis names. Oh Today I got a box from Disney. Order some jammies for xmas...they were clearance. Also got a black messenger bag with mickey on it and something else for a friend but I can't say cause she is lurking on DIS and don't want her to know. I love when Disney boxes come to my door.
Hello fellow CT Diser! We will be there Sept 29-Oct 6.
at POFQ and celebrating DD 2nd bday
Thanks for the tip, I'll have to head over this weekend.Just an FYI: Target's Dollar area now has lots of Alice in Wonderland (animated) stuff. My local Target doesn't have it in yet but my sister's in Iowa, which is a Super Target, had a ton. I got coloring books, magnetic note pads, sticky notes, pens and journals.
I figure one day of cutesy outfits is good, then a bleach pen shirt day, and I am still not sure about our uni day, maybe just a cute summer outfitI'm not going to do too much this time I don't think. Great idea. I was thinking of making felt stories for the ride down but never thought of a wdw build a scene. Great idea!I will take some pictures tomorrow now that I'm done with it and post it if you're interested! My DD's favorite thing at storytime is putting stuff up on the felt board so I made her one--felt shapes you can "stick" to another piece of felt and move around to create a scene. Should be sturdier than stickers!
Hi! Just noticed a time change for Magic Kingdom on Sept 15th. Seems the closing time has changed to 6 PM ! Wishes is no longer listed for that day either.
To close that early, seems like it must be a private function. Anyone hear anything?
I know it is off season & I expect early closing & all, but we now have park closing at 7PM : Nights of Joy Sept 9 & 10; MNNSHP Sept 13 & 16 & now "something" closing the park at 6 PM on the 15th. Wishes is now only Sept 11, 12 & 14th. Early closings for 5 out of 8 nights..
Should make it real interesting on those 3 nights!
No worries on the pins guys. If they are sold out when you go to purchase, just check back the next day. She will add more quantities as we go.
Another thing. Since our group is SO awesome and chatty we are about to the limit of posts we can have on this thread. (The limit is 250 pages.) So...
I have started a 2nd thread for our group! Please go HERE to see it!!!
Yes, let's keep posting here. In this past December's thread, we went over 250 pages, and they didn't lock the thread. However, we had already created a new thread, so it got confusing with members posting in both threads at the same time. So let's just post here until they shut it down.
I posted on it so I don't forget about the new thread!
Thanks L-Harper!Should we keep posting here until we reach our limit?
We have those same shoes!DD wore them on our trip in 2007!
