I bought the outfits Honestly, I probably couldn't sew a pillowcase together DH and I have gotten creative when DD has simple costumes she needs for school....hot glue is my friend

Does anyone else wish there was more Disney adult clothing out there? I need to find something halloweenish for DH & I - MNSSHP. I'm going to try making a couple of those bleach pen shirts I came across. I found a clorax bleach pen, and some shirts on sale in the kids sizes. If it turns out, I'm going to make a couple of these for us and insist DH wear one!

Oh good! I knew somebody was asking about the shirts!

I'm not sure I know what the bleach pen shirts are? Sounds interesting!

Loving Air Tran today! We just booked our flight down and added a day to our trip We decided for the price to come in late and get a good nights sleep to start our vacation off right!

We will be there 9/22-9/30!!!!!

SOOOOO had a lot of catching up to do because I've been really busy at work and just received my acceptance letter to graduate school. My first class is May 16-July 8th and then another August 30 to October 21
and my final class for this year will be October 24 to December 16! So I'll only be dealing with one class during our trip. I've wanted to go back to school for so long and have worked hard for it, and am now ! I've filled out all my financial aid stuff, but the thought of adding more debt to my plate and extra costs like books and things,,,not to mention the pressure of performing well to make it worth the time and money...as well as being to continue to perform well for work...goodness! It helps to have some housework to come home to as a distraction and the support of the DISers on here!! Seriously this is the distraction I know I will need more than ever! It is my happy place (outside of WDW!!)

She must have sold out of the number she had listed. There is a place on the bottom of the listing where you could contact the shop owner and she could list one for you, or I'm sure she'll re-list soon! HTH

My DH, DD and I will be at POFQ from Sept. 17th - 26th... Only wish my DS were going also.....

Yay! I'm newish to the boards and didn't even know this thread was here lol. We're going Sept.21-Oct.1, without four kids on our first trip! Staying at Saratoga springs with deluxe dining!!!!.

Edited to add that we're also surprising our kids with the trip, we're not going to tell them until we head up the night before to the hotel since our flight leaves so early. I CAN"T WAIT!!!!

Me, DH, DD, DS will be going back to WDW on 9/17-9/24. This is our first visit to WL

Whew, I'm finally caught up. I was out of town and missed all the cute customs discussions! I'm currently shopping for fabric to make a Belle dress (out of cottons) and Tinkerbell costume for MNSSHP. This will be my summer project! I need to go to our better Joann's Fabric and see if I can find that Rapunzel shirred fabric. Love it!

I'm feeling the grad school pain. I haven't been accepted yet as I've been working on my GRE scores and taking some minor classes for a teaching license while I wait. However, I will be submitting my application this week and if everything pans out, I will be enrolled in two classes when we leave.

Ok, just finally got caught up on all the discussions here tonight! I am at work tonight, so if we aren't too busy, I'm going to "try" to get some photos up of previous DCL customs that my DD has worn, for those who were asking. I think I only have one photo for DCL customs so far for this trip because I haven't received the others yet, and most were creations that I thought up in my head, so no seller photos available either! The one I have a pic for for this year is a DCL logo swimsuit! It turned out soooooo cute!!! I'm trying to talk the designer into making us a coverup with the Aqua Duck logo on it as well!

As much as I wanted FD offer this Friday, I believe the extra Disney CM's on Friday is due to DCL will open up the lines for the 2012 bookings for the new intineraries being offered! Hoping April 15th will be the date people are saying and a fantastic offer will be revealed for Sept WDW

The new DCL itineraries are available for booking tomorrow morning!! Since DCL is totally separate from WDW, that shouldn't affect the Disney CM's. Did you hear somewhere that extra CM's were needed for something? Where did you get the info on that and a "fantastic offer" for Sept?! Oohhh, sounds very good....hopefully?!?

I already scoped out the new itineraries! I thought we might do the Hawaii one since it's been rumored for awhile....but after looking at it today, it's 15 nights so probably insanely expensive! 9 days are at sea, with on 4 actual days at the 4 main Hawaiian islands....and even 2 of those 4 are HALF days!! What the heck?! I love sea days, but having 9 of them, and only 4 partial days on the islands, doesn't seem worth the price (whatever the price ends up being. LOL!)

Here are a few photos of one of DD's custom sets from our DCL cruise of 2009. The pants were a little big, but that's what I get for ordering 8 months in advance and guessing on sizing. LOL! Her hair is still wet. She went straight from the bath tub to the atruim to catch the characters before dinner.

This was the post I was attempting before DIS went down for maintenance.....

This custom set was something I came up with on my own. It is based off the DCL stage show "Disney Dreams". I had the designer draw up Tinkerbell and Minnie (with fairy wings) sprinkling pixie dust over the Disney Magic, just as Tinkerbell does at the end of Disney Dreams. The back says, "Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust." The pants have the DCL logo on one leg and "Disney Magic" on the other.

DD wore this on embarkation day. All the CM's and characters LOVED this outfit. They took her around the atrium to show others. I'm so sad that I didn't get any good photos of the design though. Didn't realize that right away. I don't even have a photo of the back that you can see real well. The lady I sold this to after our cruise just recently relisted it and I was sooo tempted to buy it back from her, but I was afraid it wouldn't fit her this time around.

These last few photos are from formal and semi formal nights. She wears her customs mainly just on the "cruise casual" nights and then we all try to dress similar as a family on the formal and semi formal nights.

This is one of my FAVORITE memories (and DD's). We went to the tea with Alice and Mad Hatter onboard the Magic. Mikella was chosen to participate in the tea at the head table with Alice and Mad Hatter!! It was soooo special for her!! Alice walked into the room and grabbed her by the hand and led her up front. Here are a few pics from that experience.
