We will be going Sept 17-26 POFQ....
Then a week at Cocoa beach to recover :cloud9:

Booked with Free Dining before December.
Can't wait!!

The copyright is on Disney's characters, even if the DISigner drew the images. Stupid, I know, especially since the DISigner isn't making a profit on the images, but that's how the copyright works. I'm going to probably end up printing out my DD's autograph book just to save the hassle, but I know the ink will probably cost me a fortune with all the graphics I want to use from the DISigners! My photo printer does a wonderful job, but uses sooo much ink! I have a folder saved on my computer FULL of DISigns!! LOL!

I had this problem recently, not with a picture but just with the name. I ordered a Thirty-One purse, and tried to have it embroidered with Disney Diva (I was adding it as a lugage piece). I was hoping to slip it in under the trademark radar, since it didn't say Disneyworld or Walt Disney! I got a very nice gift certificate with a note telling me not to do that anymore. It amazes me how broad the reach of the Disney brand is. :rotfl:

All right, we had my brother and his wife over last night and my sister in law made it clear that she thinks it weird that two adults are traveling to Disney for their anniversary. How do we get her to understand?????? (She has never been there)

I don't think you WILL get them to understand :lmao: people either 'get' Disney or they don't :confused3 Lucky for me my family knows my DH and I are just big kids anyways, so it doesn't surprise them that our house looks like something off Playhouse Disney....errrrr. Disney JR......... Best of luck! don't let them rain on your Pixie Dust!! :goodvibes pixiedust:

Yeah got an email this morning ---my artscow have been shipped!!!!!!! can I get a whoot whoot!! LOL

Having a little change in our plans. My older DD who wanted to do PL. Now wants BBB she's been watching tangled and wants that now. So I asked on the BB thread if we can just do the hair and nails and add on the dress and the crown. The answer is yes. :cool1: Neither of the girls do the shoes or the wand. Also last time I paid a little over 200.00 for the enitre package with the pictures. I don't really care if we get the big package beacause I pefer the pictures they take during the proceess rather then the posed ones. DD's pictures came out awesome but it isnt' something we need to do. So if I do it that way I should come out udner 300.00.:scared1: Than the 250.00 for the MNSSHP tickets. But it will be worht it.:cheer2:

I've had my eye on airfare since January when I booked this trip. Prices are around $250 or $300. Airtran just started a sale for $208/RT, but travel has to be completed by June 22nd. Ugh. I don't know whether to just purchase some so we have it or roll the dice and hope prices come down instead of going higher.

I didn't call Disney to ask about airfare because I figured it would be the same as if you booked your airfare with your vacation package online, and for that they were wanting to charge me $500/RT! :scared1: Do you think it would be different if I called them?

Earlier in this thread a couple people who fly AT reported when they called Disney and priced out the same flights and times savings if I recall like $200 cheaper than the same exact flight and times on the AT sight. I would call and check to see if they are still offering flights at such a discount.

Yeah, I'm just confused as to why it would be cheaper if you call them, rather than booking it on Disney's site with the package. ...and it would HAVE to be the same flight and times for AT because we only have ONE flight a day between Moline and Orlando! LOL! I guess it doesn't hurt to call and ask.

You have nothing to lose by calling and checking, right?!

I would just say, everyone has their own vacation styles. Some people like to camp, some like to sit on beaches, and you guys like to be around people and have fun at Disney!

I am going to call Disney and see what can be done. We are using a friend's DVC points for our room and I had planned on buying tickets through Undercover tourist to save a few dollars so I don't know if they will let me buy airfare through them, but it can't hurt to ask right?

Now I am starting to fret over the dining plan. I will have a two bedroom Kidani Village condo with 6 adults and two children. Can we split up the Key to the World Cards with different credit cards/meal credits? I love my sister but I don't really want her boyfriend to be able to charge stuff on my card, and if we have our park tickets already can those be put on the card or will we have to carry our room cards and park tickets also?

(I guess I should have thought about that on the front end, eh?) Has anyone else done this?

Honestly - it does blow my mind, considering Disney IS a last name. It's not like you said Mickey Mouse.

I am patiently (ya right) sitting waiting for tomorrow, it's my 180 ADR day!!!

I'm feeling a little crappy too so I just may call in sick...cough cough...

Please add us to the list. We will be there Sept. 17-24 at ASMu. We are so excited. It is our first trip as a family. I have been, my husband has been, but we've never been together and my daughters have never been.

They are just weird!! LOL

I agree! My husband and I are going Feb for ours (and my birthday)! We haven't gotten to ride ANY attractions together because we have one (and almost two) small kids. I can't wait for that trip. :lovestruc

Officially count us in for September!!!:banana::banana:
We finally got our money together. We don't know where we are staying yet, but in the next few days we should know. Hopefully we can get BC on extreme short notice (sigh), but if not we will still be at WDW with DD for her first trip :wizard:

Btw, making reservations w/o knowing what DDP or where we are staying and losing some of the shows bc we decided to wait until we booked....yeah not fun. DH was informed/scolded.

ETA - September 16-25 (sorry bout that) :)

Hey, here's another option for you. I left making autograph books thru Artscow too late. So, I sent all the JPG images I got from the DISigners to Costco's photo centre instead. 10 cents a piece for 4x6 photos of the autograph pages instead of printing them myself. They looked great!! Then purchased one of those hardcover mini albums that held 100 photos and slipped them inside.

All right, we had my brother and his wife over last night and my sister in law made it clear that she thinks it weird that two adults are traveling to Disney for their anniversary. How do we get her to understand?????? (She has never been there)

A few months back, I mentioned to another mom at school about us going back to Disney by ourselves. She gave me a look of shock and wanted to know why we weren't going to a beach or something instead!

Yeah got an email this morning ---my artscow have been shipped!!!!!!! can I get a whoot whoot!! LOL

Congrats! :woohoo:

Bear with me here (long, sorry!):

So, the costumes I ordered for my girls for the PL arrived yesterday and I was so excited! I did order a size larger because the reviews on the website said they ran small. Well, the size I ordered for my 7 year old was huge, same for my 4 year old, but the size I ordered for DD4 fit DD7. Then I realized the costume in the size I want to keep had a small snag in it :headache: And, they do not have any size smalls in stock for DD4, grrr

So I called and the company's customer service was great! They sent me out a pre-paid label to return the costumes, I will get a refund for the one that is too large and they are sending me out a replacement for DD7 :thumbsup2

Anyone following my rambling here? :lmao:

So, now all I have to do is hunt down another online site that has the same costume in DD4 size :upsidedow

So, it's getting worked out. I guess it's a good thing I'm ordering their costumes 6 months ahead of time, lol
