You can feel free to add me to this list as well. ADR's already set & booked at Pop Century with my amazingly incredible Non(Bellerina13) from September 12-22. It's her first trip & we are both celebrating our birthdays for the week as well. We are very excited & definitely cannot wait until September.

So cute! I really like those shirts. May I ask how your 2 year old DD did the night of MNSSHP? Did you guys stay out late? Alice will be 23 months and I would like to stay late at the party. If you have any MNSSHP advice for kids that age, please pass it along! :)

Have a great trip!!

Thanks for the compliments!

My youngest DD has always been an easy going baby and now child :lovestruc Thinking back to that party we did stay until almost closing I believe. DD enjoyed the first few hours of the party and then she fell asleep in her stroller later in the evening :) (we have a baby jogger city mini with full recline and large canopy). Which worked out great because then I would rest with the baby and DH would be taking my older one to the other activites. The worst part was waking her up and trying to hold a cranky, sleeping child on the bus back to Pop :sad2:

So, I guess it really depends on the temperament of your daughter. Do you think she will be able to fall asleep in the stroller later in the night?

HOLLA!!

We have a Grand Gathering Sept 24-Oct 1st! My cousin and I will be celebrating our 30th birthdays!!

We'll be at Port Orleans Riverside!

Just made our ADRs on Monday at 5:30am :scared1: and I really am having a hard time waiting now! I don't want to wish away the summer but c'mon September!

This is good to hear! :thumbsup2 I am hoping to stay until almost closing too. Luckily both our girls are good stroller sleepers, my four year old even asked to crawl into her sister's stroller a couple times last trip so she could take a nap while we walked.

Welcome to all the new September travelers!!

Welcome to all our new-September travelers!!

I am always excited to go to bed and come back to pages of chat and new travelers!! It's gonna be hard to contain ourselves for 5 months, 3 weeks and 3 days!! I made some character meals autograph books and Epcot passports for 5 girls on Artscow and I am dieing for them to come. It was only almost 2 wks ago and I know they come from overseas but I am impatient...:rotfl: Anyone have experience with this site?? Well hope you all have a great disney day. I am off to drive to our Disney store(an hr away) to get my preordered Tangle movie and shop...;)

Geez, you guys really do talk alot in here!!

:lmao:

I'm in a bit of freak out mode here. I've been battling some sort of coughing thing for about a week (can't figure out if it's allergies or a cold) and then I got a call yesterday at about 4pm from daycare that my little one had a 105 fever!!!

I ran her to the doctor and the diagnosis was......wait for it.......a virus.

That is all. A virus. I asked what we could do for her and the doctor said just work on keeping the temp down and make sure she's hydrated. It should last about 5 days and be gone.

Well, okay, BUT (and here comes the freak out mode), we are leaving on vacation on Saturday! We fly to Ft Lauderdale Saturday afternoon and leave on our cruise on Sunday. I'm hoping she can fight this...whatever...in the next couple of days and be good to go by Sunday.

Ugh!

I was camping 12 hours away from my kids in Pennsylvania a couple of years back when my mom called me to tell me that Paul had a high fever and she had just called an ambulance because he'd gone into convulsions. (It was just the fever, it causes some children to convulse when it goes too high too quickly.) We immediately packed our gear and started home...but by the time we got there, he was fine and up and playing like normal!

It's hard when the kids are sick but they tend to bounce back so much faster than adults!

Way cool! Our dates are similiar (we arrive on the 11th and leave on the 17th) but we are staying at Por. I too will be celebrating my 40th b-day!!!! (Albeit we are going a couple weeks late) It does feel weird to share a birthday with your favorite place in the world!!!

It really does feel weird. When I realized it, I was soooooo excited. :yay: Anticipating 40 has been great and sharing it with the most magical place for me is just awesome.

Happy 40th Birthday to you in advance......:bday:

Logged into the WDW site to see there's only 174 days left until our trip! :yay:

I have been doing the same thing. I am so ready to go! I feel like I should be doing something to prepare but I have made all the adr's, made reservations to the PL, ordered costumes for the halloween party. With all that done I still feel like I should be doing something else. My kids think I have lost my mind because I have already ordered their costumes. I probably have.

I just called home to check in and her fever is already down. DH gave her some medicine at about 6:30 this morning and hasn't given her any since so that's a good sign.

I'm so looking forward to changing her daycare! She has gotten so many illnesses at this current daycare. My oldest was in daycare and she did get her share of illnesses, but it has been over the top at this daycare.

Her last day there is Friday, so she may not even go back depending on how she is doing.

Great daycare is a jewel. We have a wonderful center here in Jefferson City. To the point where DD (who is in second grade) often asks if she can go to pick up her brother so she can chat with the teachers who taught her to read (the first word she learned to spell was aphid).

DS has had some fairly impressive viral infections, but nothing that he might not have contracted from the DD and her exposure at school.

It sounds like you are right to look for a better option, though! I chose ours when DD was an infant because the first thing I smelled walking in the door was pine cleaner and it reminded me of the smell of my grandmother's kitchen (poor dear couldn't cook, but man she could clean!)

My daughters had that mystery virus about 2 months ago. Fevers between 103 and 105. The fever lasted about 5 days in my oldest and over a week (8 or 9 days) in my youngest. Don't know why it took so long for her, but the day I was going to take her to the pediatrician it broke. It really wasn't too bad ... they had the fever, were lethargic, slept alot, didn't eat much. My oldest threw up once on the day her fever broke (???). But that was it. I was the only one in my house that didn't get it and it was kind of like a nice little break for me, because everyone was sleeping so much.

I hope your little one is feeling better soon. She'll have a solid 3 days of sickness behind her by the time you guys leave, so hopefully she'll be on the back end of it by then!

Wow, that's alot of cool stuff you made! I've read good stuff about Artscow on scrapbooking sites, never have tried them myself though.
