My DD1 1st Birthday Party was a HUGE success yesterday. :thumbsup2 If I knew how to post pictures :confused3 I would I am just so proud of my dd and all my hard work. My DH is off for the week for DD's birthday so today we are getting back to planning our trip. We are just setting down to talk ADR's while the Disney Planning DVD plays in the background to get us in the spirit. :happytv:popcorn:: Hopefully I can post a tentative plan later and get some feedback. Our ADR date is the day after DD's actual birthday Wednesday.... I think?:confused3

Love my September peeps!:cheer2:

I know that I've posted these before, but these are what I'm planning , please let me know what you all think:

Sept 25 is arrival day: DTD..eat at EOS

Sept 26 is Epcot day: Breakfast Akershus 9:15

Sept 27 is MK day: Breakfast Crystal Palace 8:15

Sept 28 is off day: Breakfast Chef Mickey's 9:30
(late because the 27th is MNSSHP)

Sept 29 is AK day: Breakfast Tusker House 9:00

Sept 30 is DHS day: Lunch at 50's 12:15

That's what I"m planning. I know that I'm missing a TS and I am trying to figure out what it will be.

Gardengrocer has EXCELLENT service!! I order my bottled water, Diet Dew, and a few other snacky things to keep in the room. It's a LIFESAVER because the Dis parks don't sell Diet Dew and I'm an ADDICT!! LOL!!

I've never even heard of those other two companies. If you haven't used them before, you might want to check with someone who has.

I agree! :thumbsup2

We have used gardengrocer in the past for pop, breakfast items, etc. I highly recommend them!

I haven't used any delivery company before so its good to hear good reviews for garden grocer...my only concern is all we will be getting is maybe some breakfast bars and beer...i dunno if we can make the $40 minimum order to make it worth it. We're looking into a delivery service to try to eliminate the checked bag we usually bring some food and booze down in!

September is such a low crowd time anyways, I think going against the "recommended" parks is more than fine! We  September because the waits for rides are low, and many attractions are walk-on.

All your plans look great! We too plan on going to evening EMH on Sunday September 18th at MK and the evening EMH at DHS on Monday 9/19 -my little one cannot miss the dance party, she's a dancing queen LOL
Maybe I'll see you and spot your pin! ;) I'll make it into a game of I Spy for my two little ones, lol :goodvibes

This is exactly what we want to hear as far as low crowds! We'll see you at both those EMHs as well!!

I didn't know that...i considered gardengrocer but all I really need is water and the delivery is costly :scared1: Did the water taste okay....I brought filtered, refillable bottles last year:wizard:

I didn't mind the taste at all to be honest, though someone else did just say they did. I've read other Dissers often bring single packet drink flavoring like kool-aid or crystal light to help with the taste issues.

I've used wegoshop.com and LOVE them and there's no minimum! There's no markup either. You pay the store's prices and they'll shop at Walmart or a warehouse store if you ask them to. You just pay a tiered delivery fee. I can't say enough good things about them! Here's a link to their page wegoshop

People doing Pirate League - are you buying outfits there or making outfits or buying something special? I am thinking of making my two younger dd's black and red tutu skirts (because they are easy) and buying all the girls pirate minnie shirts and the boys pirate mickey shirts. DH and I have never worn matching shirts but I'd like a picture of all of us together so why not with disney pirate gear on? pirate:

Also considering buying some shirts with mickey/minnie in animal prints, for the kids only, for our TH breakfast. I really do enjoy window shopping on etsy :surfweb:

I just ordered some pirate costumes for the kids from partycity. I like my daughters but not sure about my 2 sons so I will still keep lookings.

That looks like a pretty good plan, according to easywdw you have picked all green days :cheer2: Should be good fun.

:thumbsup2Looks good.....Have you considered going to O'Hana's for Ts on the 28th or to Boma's on the 29th for dinner?:confused3

Dang....I haven't been on in 2 days and woohoo 9 pages to read. Tomorrow I make my ressie's and I a little worried about one of them. Crossing fingers!

I like your ideas for outfits! I was going to do custom pirate minnie T-shirts for my girls but I found a really cute costume that I like from buycostumes, I just ordered them yesterday. I'm going with pink and black pirates for my girls because I know they will want the Emperess package from PL with the pink bandana, so I wanted it to match. I really hope the sizing fits, keeping my fingers crossed! :wizard: DH and I might wear bandanas...not sure about us yet

Just like MikellaCinderella I love custom boutique clothing....we did a lot for my daughters' first trip. It can get costly though. I did pick up some boutique bows to go with the Jessie shirts I have for our DHS day. Mostly though since I want the kids to be comfortable in the scorching heat of September we try to put them in comfortable, fast dry, moisture wick clothing now :goodvibes

I'll try to post links and or pics later if I can :)

I'm another one that doesn't like the taste of the water...but even at home I prefer bottled water. I guess I'm a bottled water snob, LOL :lmao:

I was going to let them get them there. But my mom just got Riley a pirate costume for the disney cruise they are taking her on this summer.. So I might just see if I can find Reese one.

Good afternoon to you!!

Both my girls want to do Pl also. I'm caling tommorow to see if we can get a later appointemnt then we have. Since we are doing MNSSHP that evening with CP for dinner at 430.

Kelly...just a heads up :goodvibes I was reading on the PL thread that on MNSSHP nights the PL can get really backed up...with waits an hour or more past your reserved time. An earlier appointment might be better just so that you know you'll be ahead of the backlog. We have a 3:00 pm appointment and dinner ressies at 4:20. It's perfect for us because we'll be dressed and have eaten by the time the party gets going. Just something to think about :)

Awesome sounds fun, Im ordering my buttons tomorrow! My daughter will like that as she plans on spreading some fun pixie dust to the lil ones again this trip. Last time we did the Fairygodmailer and brought along glow necklaces and things that she passed on to others. We had a great time surprising some little ones that didnt' look as happy as they could have been.

That is an AWESOME idea!!!! I love it!! Might have to use that for DD. She'd love to give some pixie dust to others!

Aww, glad to hear the party went well!! I'd love to see pics if you can figure out how to post them! Do you have a photobucket account?

Question? Is it necessary to be at Epcot for opening?
The only things we will be doing there are The Seas w/Nemo, turtle talk and MAYBE soarin'....plus shopping.
I'm trying to decide what time to make my ADR for Akershus, would like around 9-9:15. TIA!
ADR's in 2 days...:scared1:

Because Future World opens two hours before World showcase we like to do The Seas, Turtle, Land, Soarin etc in the morning at opening (9AM). Then we schedule a late breakfast at Akershush (10:45 am) because it's in WS and then we can tour the countries after. I'm not one for criss-crossing if I don't have too :goodvibes

Just another option for you! :)

Well, here's an idea.....Garden Grocer sells all sorts of products. Some prices are very comparable to what you'd pay at any other store, so if you're just trying to make the $40 minimum, consider purchasing a couple other items that you would be purchasing at home and bringing with you anyways. That way you aren't spending unnecessary money. Last year, even though we had the DxDP, I had Garden Grocer deliver a case of bottled water, case of Diet Dew, loaf of bread, peanut butter, jelly, bananas, granola bars, nutri grain bars, fresh grapes, strawberries, and a few other snack items I can't remember. It was nice to be able to pack PB&J in our backpack for the day (I brought sandwich bags from home) for DD for those times when it's not quite ADR time, but she's STARVING ;) and have fresh fruit available in our room. (We had a fridge at POP). The snacks and fruit were also good for her to munch on in the morning while she was waiting for me to get ready (shower, etc) before we headed to the POP food court for breakfast, or to the bus stop to go for ADR.

You can always use your snack credits to stock up on things for your room as well, and I admit, we had a ton of snack credits left at the end of the trip and used those to bring stuff home for the other kids, but Garden Grocer was very convenient and a total life saver for me and my Diet Dew addiction!! :lmao:

Aww, how sweet of you two to spread some pixie dust! I bet you made some very happy kids!
