September 11 - 18, 2011 at Pop Century

We'll be celebrating my son's 4th birthday (Sept 23) and my daughter's very first trip (she was born February 28th!) We are SO excited!

.... a part of me thinks I should switch our ressie over to All Star Movies since Jake is obsessed with Toy Story and he'd absolutely LOVE the huge Buzz & Woody.

The past 3 trips we've stayed at Pop and it feels like home to us, but Jake has never been to Movies before.

Ahhh! What do I do?!

I've tried to commit to ASMo for the same reason, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I always end up switching to Pop.

Same here! I tried doing it our last trip and just stayed at Pop... which is what I'm going to do again. I know we all love Pop and it'll be a blast!

So stupendously, overly, massively, humongously, sillyly, crazily EXCITED!

I posted here a few weeks ago-ish about possibly heading back in September; last night we made our reservations. Wooohooooo! I can officially be added to the list.

Heading down to celebrate our 10th anniversary. A split stay at the Beach Club and Poly from Sept. 17th - 25th.

That is really cool! When you say you got them signed, do you mean by the CM at the KidCot station? We've never done KidCot.

I really like the snowglobes too. My daughter fell in love with one on her 2nd trip, one of Tinkerbell with little golden Mickeys as the confetti.

Yep, the CM's sign the passports. Some just write a small message in their language. Some ask for the kids names and write that in their language. Others write out long messages. It's a lot of fun! Each country has it's own stamp too.

Those are great. We had a very short live Disney snowglobe once. I am waiting until the kids are older to try that collection again.

well.....i have continued to flounder about my ADR's I think I have decided to go to 50's rather than Sci-Fi! We really want to eat in HS at have been disappointed with mama melrose in the past.

I personally would switch to Movies! It was the first resort we ever stayed at, for the same reasons of loving the large Toy Story figures. We have such incredible photos from that trip that I love looking back on. Even if you stay at Pop, be sure to make a trip over to All Star Movies to get some cute photo ops! Yes, that's my little 2 year old at Buzz's feet!

Once my boys get older, I'm actually really excited about 50's. I think it looks more fun than Sci-Fi if you can only pick one. Enjoy!

Welcome fellow POP'er. We are there same week as you. We won't leave unless free dining comes out and saves us a significant amount of money. I am excited to be at POP! I like the Mod or deluxe resorts but my kids love the value and honestly we aren't there enough to pay for deluxe~!

Ok I have 2 weeks and I can make dining reservations!! I am soo excited. I am getting ready to make the 5 girls I am traveling with autograph books. My church is having a scrapbook day next week so I am excited to go and hope to get some work on them done!!

That is the problem, fitting it in. I'm sure everyone has such a tight schedule anyway. We only have a couple of time slots we'd even be able to fit it in. It's a good thought, but doubtful it'd actually happen.

Maybe in a couple years we can all plan on going the same week and the same resort. That would make it easier!

I booked our flights today! I was discouraged from what I was finding on the airline websites & Expedia so I called Disney--I got the exact same flight for $140 less total! Came in under budget on flights so I'm sure I'll be able to find somewhere else to spend that money...

I have been wondering about this, I booked our package with no flight and was wondering if I could just call Disney and add it to our package and pay for it after the fact. So, I'm guess I can call and book flights thru them and it may be cheaper even?

It's worth a shot! I had booked package w/o flight through them. They did have a better deal on Airtran back when I called. You do have to pay for the flights up front though by credit card w/ Disney.

We'll be at the kiddie pool or Goofy's water jets at Pop most afternoons that we're there from September 11-19!
