September 2011 - The Planning Has Started!!!

DH and I are celebrating our 4th Anniversay weekend at Bay Lake Tower!! September 9-11th!!! Planning on a little Night of Joy while we are there.....can't wait. I love Disney with my kids but REALLY Love Disney with my DH!!!

Well that is exciting new about the park hours, last I heard only the first 2 weeks were out.........soon the September hours will be out
I added the extra day so we can do Fantasmic this trip now they just better not mess with me I am counting on them having it on Sunday
I have not done any planning lately at all, I am stilling thinking if a good discount should come of for Oct of switching our dates, I so hate the thought of it being brutally hot and humid. I haven't mentioned it to DH yet I have changed so many times this trip he will never know when we are going or where we are staying

From the Friday we arrive (Aug 26th) until the end of the month (31st) Fantasmic is only showing on Sunday. So you're probably safe counting on a Sunday.

I thought I told you to stop thinking about changing your dates -- we would miss you too much on this thread if you change to October!!

Thanks! I think we will like it better too. I didn't realize All Star Movies was last on the All Star bus line. And I love the idea of being at a resort that has only the one bus stop. I was considering switching us to Coronado Springs but could not justify adding the $300+, plus I know once I open that can of worms there will be no going back. So I am delaying it for as many trips as possible!

ADR question, can you book CRT online? We're going to try to do this for the first time, hoping for an 8 am reservation. Do I need to wake up at, like, 4 am and start calling, or can I do it online?

So I booked our trip in order to not miss out on the 30% off at the Poly however wasn't sure if my DH would get the week off from work we wanted. Just got the call today that he definitely has the week off...YAY!!! Now I am in full planning mode. Trying to figure out ADR's and hoping we will be able to catch MNSSHP. We have gone the week of Dec 10th the past 4 years so this will be a huge change for us (heat, humidity, love bugs and not traveling with my parents). Hoping we won't be disappointed!

Sept 3rd through the 9th may add another day.. We booked the 30% off but hoping for a 40% off PIN like we had last yr..

Second stay at the Poly CL just cant imagine staying any other way... Im a reformed WDW commando thanks to the Poly..LOL

Wish the park hours would hurry and come out so I can start planning my ADrs.. Not sure if Ill let Concierge do them for me or not, they offered but Im not sure I can relinquish any control of our trip..LOL

So, yesterday we were in the car and DH asked "Are you really sure you want to go back to Disney this year?"

Ummm, yes.

Then he said "But wouldn't you rather save that money and use it towards airfare to Europe next year?"

Ummm, nope. We are going to WDW this year and then skipping a year next year and going to Europe. No need to take money away from one trip to go on another.

He keeps telling me that we don't have a $15,000 vacation budget each year and I keep having to remind him that we don't even come close to half of that each year with 2 vacations.

He is in the protest mode right now. Once we get back from our cruise in April, I'm sure he'll be back in the right frame of mind.

So use to going at the end of August, that I was expecting my hours to be coming out in February...instead we're going in September...and our hours will be out in March! Good thing February is a short month! more time to think about ADRs and more time to save money for the hoppers I want to add!

So...........the hours will be out before we firm up ADR's??? That would be helpful so I can do them in the right order???? Last year I would plan to go the the parks the day after EMH hoping they weren't as busy....I think everyone did the same thing because they were busy!
