September 2011 - The Planning Has Started!!!

Sheila -- We have had 2 very nice experiences at Mama Melrose. It was crowded in the tiny room where you wait to be seated and they are not known for their speed in there , but all in all it is very nice. A nice atmosphere and the food is good. Just go in not in a hurry!

Thanks Shelly, for the life of me I can not remember how the meal was when we went to Mama Melroses so many years ago but I am thinking it must have been ok , I tend to remember bad. Brown Derby was ok but it did not thrill us the time we went there and today after looking at the menus for both I do think we enjoy Mama MelRoses more especially since it will only be 1 TS credit.

Don't forget about Wolfgang Puck for breakfast. DH, DD, and I ate there and DH insisted on eating there a second time for breakfast. Then he told his whole family about how good it was. He gets upset when I take pictures of the food, and he was taking pictures of his breakfast there!

That is awesome! I am very excited about WPE! I wonder if my DH is going to get annoyed of me taking photos of our food...

I never thought to take pictures of our meals until joining the DIS, I plan on doing it this trip but I am gonna have to be fast since DH inhales his food so fast I won't have much time

My family used to think I was nuts taking pictures of our food at WDW! Now they are so used to it that they don't even start to eat before I get a picture. And DS11 is usually taking pictures of it too!

We are now doing a split stay. We will be part of a Grand Gathering at ASMu 9/2-8 and then once everyone else leaves, me and my family (DH and DDs) are moving to the Contemporary TPV for 2 nights...9/8-9/10. When we got the 40% off PIN I couldn't resist the split stay. The Contemporary is DH's dream resort. I want to do Beach Club, but that can be next trip! We are all so excited now! Never stayed deluxe before.

Kind of down. Just figured my taxes and we owe on both federal and state. This has never happened. Not sure what got messed up but we have always gotten a really nice refund. So now I have to pay towards that instead of the Disney trip for the next couple of months. It is much more fun to pay Disney then the goverment. I guess I will be cutting back on some of our extras for a while.

The plan right now is to go Sept 10-17 ASM!!! Wondering if I am at 8 months yet myself, but I cant make a ticker because we have become superstitious. My DH has the worst time at work whenever we talk too much about Disney.. so we don't now!
