September 2011 - The Planning Has Started!!!

I got word from my doctor's office today. They scheduled an induction for me on Sunday morning. This is about the most upsetting thing I've heard all week. I cried for about an hour and a half when I got off the phone, and then on and off all day. This is SO not how I wanted my pregnancy to end. Did anyone call the 6th or 7th?! Looks like she will be making her appearance by the 7th.

I am sorry Dani! If you don't feel comfortable pushing them to extend it, I would try what a PP said, walking alot tomorrow, and maybe asking if they'll just break your water first on Sunday? Or maybe they can strip your membranes tomorrow before you try all that walking? I've heard some say the membrance strip hurt, I've never had that done but having them break my water did not hurt at all.

Generally second births do go alot smoother than the first ones, you might be surprised. Try not to be scared. (I know, I know, easier said than done.) I had a very traumatic time during the pushing phase with my first and I was terrified when I had to push with the second, but it was easier, I was actually able to do it that second time!

It is exciting that you'll be holding your little girl soon! :flower3:

My 2nd was WAY easier than my 1st. I pushed for nearly 3 hours with my first and only 20 minutes with my 2nd. Everything from start to finish was like night and day! Good luck to you, Dani. I'll be praying for you and the baby.

Thanks for all the support! :grouphug: Now I'm in complete panic mode trying to get everything ready for her. Thank goodness I went to Babies R Us last night and swiped a stack of those free magazines with the Amazon coupons in them. I'm stocking up on diapers and wipes. I know I had 41+ weeks to get everything ready but...I didn't. lol Now I don't even know where anything is! I know this is going to sound crazy but it didn't really occur to me that the end result of the last 9 months would be an actual baby coming home from the hospital with me. :rotfl: Now I'm completely freaking out!

Okay, what is everyones favorite Disney adult beverage? Or for those that don't partake of the Devil's pop, what is your favorite specialty non alcoholic beverage?

I tried the English Rose at the Rose & Crown Pub in Epcot for the first time on our last trip. It was so good.

English Rose - Beefeater Gin, Apricot Brandy, Vermouth, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice served in a souvenir cup $10.25

I did not get it in a souvenier cup. I had forgotten about it. I am not sure if I was charged less because it was in a regular glass.

The bartender there is very nice and very entertaining. Here he is balancing a customers beer on a dime.

 You'll do great!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!!!! :goodvibes I'm freaking out right now!!! DH and I were going over our Disney plans so that he could get his input in. {He made some awesome suggestions!} Anyway, we were talking doing Crystal Palace on our last morning very early so we can get into MK before everyone else. We talked about how the boys don't really care for the Pooh characters then I brought up Cinderella's Royal Table. Um, he agreed! :worship: :cloud9:  :cool1: I'm SOOOOOO excited and feel like I'm 9 again! princess: I hadn't even brought it up because I don't know if its really something the boys will get a kick out of, but I sure will! How awesome will it be for us to go to CRT before rope drop on our very last day?! :dance3: The awesome thing is that its our 10th day so I think it'll be a bit easier to get since it will be at the end of the 180+10 scenario! I will be having my fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes, everything crossed until March 11. I'm SO hoping for an ADR before RD!!!! :yay:

Can you tell I'm excited? :lmao:

Oh that sounds wonderful and like you said 10 days out you should have no problem getting an ADR...........I have read they give the boys a sword so I think your boys will enjoy themselves. I dragged my two DS when they were much older 10 and 20 and they went along with picture with Cinderella but were not too happy. LOL

180 DAYS!!!

I just got finished making ADR's- it took so long. :faint:

But I got everything I wanted within five minutes or so of the time I wanted, including 'Ohana for supper and Le Cellier for lunch.
Everything was pretty open as far as I could tell.

It kept kicking me out and I kept having to log back in with my reservation- happened probably three times. Very frustrating. I got the ones I knew would be the hardest to get, first.
It opened up RIGHT AT 6 am- I kept trying 5 minutes before up until 6 am and it kept saying I couldn't do it.

Anyone else make reservations this morning? I got up at 4:40 AM my time.

:faint:

Now, coffee and catching up with everyone.

:cheer2: For 180 Days :cheer2:

Jo-Congrates on getting everything you wanted. I plan on doing exactly what you did by booking the hardest to get first and also scheduleing the hardest to get latest in my trip if at all possible

:dance3: Congratulations Jo!!! :cheer2: It's SO exciting that our 180 ADR days are all coming. I only have a few more days until mine. It's really starting to feel more real to me.

WE'RE ALL GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love Cape May... have been to Chef Mickey's once, and while it was okay, we weren't overly thrilled with it. Cape May is a little more laid back for us. If you're looking for a CS @ EPCOT, we love Sunshine Seasons in the land... nice variety of food!!

I've seen several people compare Chef Mickey's dinner to Cape May's dinner, and I just wanted to double check because I'm pretty sure Cape May's dinner doesn't have character's!

I wish I was wrong, but the websites all say Breakfast is the only character meal. We also will be doing the Cape May Clambake for dinner--we love seafood and can't wait to try it. Also can't wait to try Sunshine Seasons!

This is the same with us. We're doing Cape May for dinner and are very sad that it doesn't have characters.

Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!

I just spent the last hour with a latte -- thank goodness for that espresso machine ---- and had 10 pages to catch up on here! A girl goes shopping for two days and misses so much!:goodvibes

Sheila-- you are not allowed to make any more changes, do ya hear???

Miss Liz-- yay for DVC!! That is so exciting! I'm hoping for AKV for you.:cool1:

LH- sorry you had to cut your trip short but yay for CRT! I hope you get your ADR!

Dani- this made me laugh--
I also have OCD about being on time and would rather be 20 minutes early than 5 minutes late.
Your new little one did not pick up your need to be on time.
And everyone is right- no two deliveries are the same. I've had three and all three were very different. Prayers for a safe delivery--- and while I didn't choose the 7th, I was tempted to-- it's our Anniversary! :goodvibes We want pics of the Princess and a full de-briefing asap.:cloud9:

Shelly--- I like the lil frog. I think I would've freaked tho, seeing him stare at me when I wasn't expecting it.
I wonder if he's still alive....?:rotfl2:

Let's see- what else-- I don't know. I'm tired now. I think I'll go back to bed.

Anyone else that made ADR's -- tell us your experience this morning.

Thank you so much, everyone. I'm starting to a feel a little better. I just had such high hopes for this being a natural thing this time around, and clearly my body is stubborn and uncooperative.

JoBird :lmao: she must take after the rest of my family! You couldn't get them to be on time if you promised them a million dollars.

I won't be making anymore changes after Monday if all goes as planned and I book our flights since Jet Blue charges $100 pp for changes, We lost $400 last year when we had to cancel our trip :scared1:, the reason being is I felt so bad for my DS and Ddil since DS was out of work for almost a year and had just got a new job , I gave them back all their $, keeping their credits ( I had booked all the flights with my card) good thing is DH and I should (hopefully) have enough credit($577) to pay for our entire flights or darn close anyway( unless this thing with rising oil prices messes me up )
