I'm sorry, but I just can't bring myself to click on the link. Snakes scare the crap out of me and I just can't do it.

:scared1::laughing:

You've made the right decision. Trust me I wish I had been able to resist. I live in fear of the day someone posts a gator experience on the Dis and I have to cancel my vacation. :rotfl:

Moving on to non-reptile matters, I think I finally have an itinerary ironed out (I make ADR's in a week so it's about time). I've decided to park hop after doing morning EMH's, and go to the MK on MNSSHP and Night of Joy days because they might be less crowded. I hate all the conflicting info on avoiding crowds/EMH!

Anyone know how hard/easy it would be to go from Epcot to the Poly for dinner at Ohana? Is it worth it?

It's super easy. You just get on the monorail! You can either get off at the TTC and walk to the Poly (about a 5 minute walk) or transfer to the resort monorail and get off right in the GCH. It's SO worth it IMO! DS requests only one meal each trip, and it's 'Ohana. We love it. I can't wait to go back!

Did anyone call April for the baby watch? Because as of tonight no dilation at all! I have to go for a test tomorrow and the doctor said someone will be in touch about inducing. I hope that takes a while because I'm content waiting it out! I'm having too much fun eating. :rotfl:

I knew I shouldn't look, but I couldn't help it!:scared1:I would have passed out if I found that in the shower. I'm okay with lizards and frogs, but anything without shoulders freaks me out!

"Without shoulders"! :rotfl: So true but that is an extra freaky way to describe them. Just so unnatural!

This really is a speedy thread. I am trying to keep up but it seems I'm always commenting on things a little late. Here is our planned itinerary as of right this minute. Can't do ADRs til 3/22:

Sun 9/18: Arrive MCO ~11AM, hang at resort, Boatrights dinner

Mon 9/19: RD Epcot, Sunshine Seasons lunch, Akershus dinner, Illuminations

Tues 9/20: RD HS, Pizza Planet or back to resort for lunch & nap, MK by 4pm for MNSSHP!! :cool1:

Weds 9/21: Sleep in, DTD AM then off to Epcot in the PM, Coral Reef dinner

Thurs 9/22: RD @ MK (EMH AM), Liberty Tree Tavern dinner, Wishes

Fri 9/23: Crystal Palace breakfast, MK all day, 'Ohana dinner (MNSSHP so we'd be out by 7pm)

Sat 9/24: RD @ AK, early night at POR w/ pizza and carriage ride, maybe DTD

Sun 9/25: RD @ MK, Chef Mickey's late breakfast, Flight leaves ~6pm :sad1:

I have had such a time arranging things around the MNSSHP but I'm so excited for it! Any feedback on my itinerary would be most welcome.

You know you have a Disney problem when...you are watching the Disney Parks special on Netflix streaming for the upteenth time. Also, my DD (16 months) has requested "Grim Grinning Ghosts" as her lullaby the past 5 nights! (she calls it "Boo") :rolleyes1

I only live a few hours away from Cedar Point and sadly have never gone. DH has a few times and keeps trying to talk me into some of the coasters. :scared1:

Honestly, we don't really live that far from Cedar Point but have never been... probably never will either.

We have been to King's Island though, but after Disney, Kings Island just can't hold a candle.

Just hope you don't have to go thru what my Mom did with me.... I was due on July 27th and was born Aug. 31st.... induced! Oh btw, this was in FLORIDA...

If your not a coaster junkie, I probably wouldn't go. When our kids were little we did spend a lot of time in Camp Snoopy though. They loved that.

Anyone know how hard/easy it would be to go from Epcot to the Poly for dinner at Ohana? Is it worth it?

Its so easy. I love that long monorail ride from Epcot to the TTC. Then you can walk from the TTC to the Poly or take the resort monorail. Everyone should go to Ohana at least once. The bread pudding is so good!

I like Kings Island too! We go knowing its no Disney, but we love coaster and Disney's just don't measure up to Cedar Points big thrill rides and there are lots of them!

Mickeypooh - have you stayed at WH before? This will be our first time there but the reviews look great :)

We stayed at WH last year and LOVED it! I'm bummed that we have to be back in one small room this year. Trying to see if we can swing a split stay at Pop and Bonnet Creek or WH. I think you will really enjoy it!

Good idea. I'm usually not too spooked by critters but that is one picture I wish I could unsee.

I knew I shouldn't look, but I couldn't help it!:scared1:I would have passed out if I found that in the shower. I'm okay with lizards and frogs, but anything without shoulders freaks me out!

Oh my! No shoulders! That really made me LOL, thanks for that!

That this is the best thread!? I love reading about everyone's plans and seeing the enthusiasm everyone is generating!

I have a lot of friends who just don't get my love of Disney. I get those "Why do you keep going back to the same vacation spot?" to "Why would you spend so much money on a vacation?" to "Aren't you sick of it yet?" kinds of questions. Kinda wears on you after awhile.

Just glad I have found a place to share ideas and to gain new ones for all things that are Disney!

4 more days 'til I can make ADRs!

~Kelly

Good luck with your ADRs!

I live here(Cedar Point)for 38yrs and work there in the summer to make some extra Disney money. Kings Island doesn't hold a candle to CP, and I love DIsney most but if you are a coaster buff....CP is ur place to be!!

So questions---have any of you cruised before on DCL? I have multiple times and have done the fish extender....hmmm you think we can still do it at our resort with fellow dis'ers? LOL My kids will miss the FE! Any thoughts?

I like your dining options. Your ADR day isn't too far away either! Also, that is pretty funny about your daughter!

L-Harper The TTC is the Ticket and Transportation Center. It's basically a transportation hub. Guests who drive to MK park at the TTC and take the monorail to the park. Guests who are transferring to another park from the MK transfer to the Epcot monorail at TTC or board the bus for DTD, AK, or DHS there. If you were going from Epcot to the Poly you would board at the front of the park (you can't miss the huge monorail!) and take it to the TTC. At the TTC you can either walk to the Poly, or you can transfer to the resort monorail which will stop directly at the Poly which is where 'Ohana is.

Thanks! How long should we allow ourselves to get from the front of Epcot to the Poly?

L-Harper... I just wanted to point out to you that on the 13th it looks like they are going to be having a MNSSHP that night b/c it is showing a park closing of 7pm with no Wishes or MSEP. I'm really hoping that they don't change this b/c I would love to do the Halloween party especially since it is our last night there.

Thank you for that! I didn't catch that before. I was thinking about going to Epcot that evening since I'm now planning on going to Crystal Palace for the earliest ADR they have on the morning we leave. Then I'm hoping we can hit our favorite ride our 2 on the way out. We definitely won't be able to hit MK on Tuesday night!

I'd allow an hour. Realistically it will be less, but you don't want to cut it too close. I also have OCD about being on time and would rather be 20 minutes early than 5 minutes late.

I always allow an hour too, it never takes that long. I can't stand being late to anything. Plus we like to look in the Wyland Gallery and the gift shop at the Poly so being early is a good thing for us. Oh and the drinks in the Tambu lounge while you are waiting are great too. I love the Lapu Lapu and the Backscratcher. I still have several of the backscratchers hanging around home.

MMMMMMM! Lapu Lapus are my favorito! Last time we ate at 'Ohana I had one while waiting and 2 during dinner....and then had one heck of a night at MK! :rotfl:

What a great idea to have time for a drink before hand! Is the lounge right next to Ohana?? We will be going there for dinner as well one night and I also want to try Kona too.
