I was induced with my first. I was 20 and didn't know better. I wish I was more informed because it was the longest, most horrendous birth. There was so much blood all over the delivery room and on the walls that even the nurses were saying they'd never seen anything like it. She can stay in until she's ready! lol

That is SO cute! I can definitely see why AKL would hold a nostalgic feel for you.

Your ADRs look fantastic! DS only makes one request...'Ohana. It's his absolute favorite meal. You'd think of all the places he's been he'd have a couple of other requests, especially with all the cute kid desserts.

You should see my spread sheets! My coworkers all want me to plan their vacations now, even non-Disney. They're color coordinated and have everything on them. Park hours, AM EMH, PM EMH, morning plans, breakfast, afternoon plans, lunch, evening plans, dinner, and fireworks/parades and their times. I'm not OCD at all

I'd love to see how you organized yours? I keep starting one and then I start over b/c I can't decide how to organize all of the information!!

I have to recreate them because my hard drive went and I didn't save them on a flash. but as soon as I have them done over I'd be happy to email you a copy.

I definitely agree! I remember standing over DS holding a mirror under his nose so I could make sure he was breathing. I'm so not looking forward to the constant worrying again, but the cuddles are so worth it! There's nothing like cuddling with a tiny newborn!

I had gestational diabetes and was strep b positive so they fed me some jive about not being able to go past the due date (I had the GD totally under control with some minor diet changes). My body was ready though, I had been way dilated for about a month. But I'm all for letting them stay put as long as they want. I'm glad the time leading up to the birth should be pretty restful for you with DS being in school!

Mel--- Nice to "meet" you! We are not from here orignally- we're from SC, but DH is a UF alum so we are all over the place. We only go to the Razorback games when the Gators are in town. Which they were- this weekend. Well the track team was. My DH had taken the kids for a donut run and they passed the whole team on the road out for a run so of course my son had to yell out to them Go Gators!! They all went crazy yellling. I think they were happy to see some "family" in enemy territory.
Where are you flying out of? We are leaving out of Branson. It was the best deal we could find.

MissLiz- sorry it's taken so long to get back to ya. Yes indeed he sang Rocky Top- it's like a fungus that keeps growing in your brain that you can't get rid of. I kid.

The other two I was induced but I am one of those "special" people who, once I begin dialating, go full force in a matter of minutes and the Drs were afraid for me to go on my own. Hope all is well with the final days with you.

Dani, I can't blame you for not wanting to be induced. I was induced both times. The first the ultrasound tech told us he was over 14lbs, the midwife said she didn't think he was over 10lbs. I didn't know any better and he was only 9lb1oz. The second time my water broke and I never went into labor so they finally induced. They are definately on their own schedule!


Baby watch 2011: My guess is March 7th.

Jobird, I haven't thought of Branson in so long. Many moons ago I saw Johnny Cash there as well as a bunch of other old timers. Good times.

ADR days are VERY special days! As long as I get to go to Buy Buy Baby to get my stroller and car seat and then Babies R Us to return the other car seat tomorrow I'm a happy camper! lol Anytime after tomorrow afternoon.

I'm one of those special people whose bodies refuse to cooperate Still not even ONE cm dilated. I might put in a call to the doctor today, though, because I have constant lower back pain which is either a UTI that won't quit or mild back labor. Knowing me, it's the infection.

They told me DS was over 10lbs! He was 9lbs 11 oz....a big baby, but not over 10! This one is only measuring between 7 and 8 lbs so they aren't worried. If she was measuring 9 or more they wanted to get her out ASAP because of DS' horror movie birth. He got stuck, the cord was wrapped twice, and he almost died during delivery. That was aside from the nurses from Hades that made the experience even worse. I'm so happy my new doctors don't deliver at that hospital anymore!


Now, I have a planning dilemma. Until my father decides if he's coming or not I can't really plan my ADRs. There's certain places (like Biergarten) that I wouldn't go unless he was coming. Sometimes I feel like I'm married to him My mom is easy. She'll eat anywhere and just go with the flow. Should I draw up 2 sets of plans this way I have them ready to go, or just wait for his answer?

So, we spent the day at the zoo yesterday and on the way home, the girls both fell asleep. DH looked back at them and said "What do you think about trying for another one?"

Umm, really? The youngest isn't even 2 and you are thinking about another one. But, in the end, we decided that we like where we are as a family, both size and financially and it wouldn't be fair to anyone to add another one right now.

Then, later on, he started talking about DVC. Now THAT I can get on board with!!! We are currently weighing our options and looking at everything. He has always been very against DVC, saying it's a waste of money, we'll get tired of Disney, blah, blah, blah.

I think the fact that this will be our 4th trip in less than 2 years really showed him the value. Yay!!!!

Now we just have to decide if it's something we want to do before our Sept trip (which means another resort change) or if we want to wait and do it later, but we will be doing it!

I was talking to an older relative yesterday and she had 6 kids. I know for sure I could NEVER do 6. In today's world it's hard to have kids at all! 2 is definitely enough for me. Besides, more than that would cramp our vacation style.

I'm not working anymore, and DS goes back to school tomorrow so I don't mind as much. Everyone keeps asking me when I'm getting induced. I keep saying I'm only 2 days past my due date, why would I induce yet? I'm actually happy that I don't go back to the doctor until Thursday evening so I get to avoid that conversation for almost a whole week past my EDD. They already think I'm crazy so if I had to tell them I don't want to induce I'm sure it wouldn't earn me any extra points.

My first DS was almost 3 weeks last ! He was due Dec 21st but did not decided to make an appearance until Jan 9th. They were going to induce me the following Monday had he not been born yet, Jan 9th was a Friday.

I still tease him since he was born in the wrong Month Jan instead of December, the wrong year 1970 instead of 1969 and the wrong sign Capricorn instead of Sagitarrius

My second DS was 5 days late when my water broke but by time we got to the hospital my pains had stopped so they induced me, it was fast 2 hours but no picnic since I went from zero pain to major pain instantly ...

I wouldn't worry about being a few days late , she is just waiting for spring.

My guess is March 4th, it is the new moon and I have always believed in the moon phases effecting births, plus it is finally warming up here in the NE rain today instead of snow


I started working on my spreedsheet again yesterday, I just wish I had my flights booked, I am working on two separate itineraries one if we arrive early in the day and one if we arrive in the afternoon. At this point it is a bit of a Nightmare not knowing for sure since if we arrive early we can do a fantasmic package and see Fantasmic! that night , if we arrive late maybe do MK since it is open till 1 am that night so depending on what the first day holds the entire week changes
And of course since our trip is from Sept 25-Oct 3, we still do not have October's Park Hours

I have emailed them 3 times. They emailed me back once to say they reset my account and that it should work. Well, after answering those 4 pages of questions again.... it still doesn't work. I tried changing my computer's security settings and still not luck.

Itinerary- NO! I haven't decided. I think I'm more confused now than I was before. I still have 11 days to figure it out. I've actually been really stressing out about it. It's driving me bananas. I actually kind of wish that we didn't have this darn dining plan. It makes the planning too hard.

Working on my 2011 spreadsheet now and decided to revise something. I'm going to omit the daily parades and Illuminations. They're every single day at the same time. By now I think I should be okay with remembering them. We never see the parades anyway. I can't manage to stay in the park until 3.

LHarper - if you can't access the parts of TGM you wanted it for I would ask for my $ back. If you can't use something it makes sense I think.

If you are concerned about ADR day you can always make a few buffer reservations and then cancel them after you finalize your plans. That's what the canceled Sept ADR thread will be for

How many days of tickets do you have? Hopping? Water parks? As a group we should be able to help you plan your days!
