Man, that's tough. That's why I booked both, and then I can drop days at both for a split or just cancel one and keep one. I'm really hoping for an AP rate for our dates.

wow I'm surprised you got that post, I reread it and TOTALLY confused myself.... LOL

I MEANT to put something like we HAVE to go the 6-11 b/c the 2nd-6th is booked and the 8-15th is booked too :( so our only option is those days :(

I am back to the drawing board on what parks we should do on which days. :scared1: I'm getting so annoyed with myself. I keep working and reworking plans just to realize I forgot something else. With my last plans we wouldn't have seen Fantasmic! or the Main Street Electrical Parade. I sure hope that I get something set before March 11th. Anyone care to help me with my ENTIRE itinerary? :lmao:

Huzzah! Just booked with AAA today, one week in September! I guess this justifies the 3-page packing list, extensive lists of ADR's to book, and all the other planning I've been doing!

I have a 7 year old with an ASD and ADHD. It's my job to understand confusing and often incomplete thoughts! :rotfl: I wonder what's going on those dates. Maybe a sweet AP rate will come out and you'll be able to work something out. :thumbsup2

I tried to do an itinerary based on last years hours/dates, but then the official hours came out for our first few days (I hate being over the Sept/Oct divide b/c I have to wait a whole extra month for most of the planning!:sad2:) and they were nothing like last years. So I will probably have to throw it all out when the October hours come out. I can't wait!!

We are from Platteville (southwest corner, 1 hr southwest of Madison). And acutally we will be there at exactly the same time you are now! We need a date change to 9/17-9/24!!! We moved our trip up a week! ... AirTran had quoted me $555 and Southwest had quoted me $577. Disney quoted me $420!!! They told me to call back a little later cause their system was having some updates-so I'm on hold with them right now to book it!!

I know where Platteville is! I used to live in Prairie du Chien for about 9 months and my parents retired to Ferryville--do you know where THAT is? :lmao: That is awesome that you could still make the trip work out and got a deal on airfare! I guess WDW has volume discounts or something.

Are you still going to do the MNSSHP? I am waiting for official park hours to be posted, although the leaked ones show the parties being Tuesday and Friday that week. We're shooting for the Tuesday one but as we're avoiding the MK on Monday, the party would be the first time we're at MK and I don't really know how I feel about that. We get in to MCO around 11am Sunday and I wonder if we should try to do a couple hours at the MK that afternoon so DD can see the castle and maybe do one ride like IASW. I don't know how this'll work with napping since we'll have an early morning making our 7:30AM flight. It's either that or a slow day at the resort but I feel the need to have some MK time earlier in our trip!

Any thoughts? :confused3

Yeah I actually work for a summer camp up near Prairie and go through Ferryville alot during the summer! We are still planning on going to the MNSSHP. I've been so leary to put much stock in any leaked hours, just sorta waiting for the official ones since I have some time before my ADRs, out of fear that anything I get my mind set on will be changed! Are you planning on doing hoppers? We are (haven't added them yet) but mainly for the very reason you are talking about, we need our Magic Kingdom fix shortly after we get there,,even if we don't plan on doing a full day there until a little later in the trip (because I also love the opening show!) So I would definitely say give in to that urge...the castle is calling! Go and see it even if its just for a quick walk down Main Street, so me castle pictures and one or two rides! I know we will be doing that before we head wherever we want to end up for the evening!
L-Harper, I'll be happy to help with your itinerary as soon as the official hours are released in the next couple days!

Got my ADR's this morning! A lot of people have been reporting having trouble making them online. I didn't have too much trouble, the site just ran slow. I got everything I wanted and the times I wanted other than at LeCellier and Ohana, had to go much earlier than wanted for those dinners.

So here's what I got:

Kona Cafe breakfast 2X
Ohana dinner
Turf Club dinner
Sci-Fi dinner
Chef Mickey's dinner
Shutters dinner
Marrakesh dinner
Le Cellier dinner

Now just 180 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!:hourglass

:lmao: Are we related? I have Poly CL AND GF CL booked 9/20-9/29. I can't decide!!!

We must be!!!

:lmao:

I knew that I didn't want to stay at AKL for the whole week and I knew that I wanted to stay at CR, but wasn't sure if I'd enjoy a full week since there isn't much to see at that resort.

Now, I'm just really trying to decide if Monday is better to change or Tuesday. Ugh! I hate being indecisive.

In your case, I'd probably go with Poly. We stayed Poly CL last September and we really enjoyed it. Their CL lounge is really nice. It's one of our favorites.

Congrates on getting all your ADR's you wanted. Were you able to make them for your entire trip or do you still have to do the ones for the second leg of your trip at the Poly?

I wish JB would come out with their fares, I was trying to work on our schedule but depending on which airport has the lower prices we will either arrive in Orlando at 11am or not until 2pm which changes what we will do our first day and of course that changes things for our entire stay .......so I have two iteneraries started what a pain.......I may just book out of HPN for the 630am flight if it is not too much more. I really like getting to Disney early. :headache:

We were booked at BLT for about 3 hours and we switched because IMO it isn't a resort. It's just a hotel. All the other resorts, even the values, have lush and beautifully landscaped grounds. I'd love to stay in the tower but probably not more then 3 nights.

I'm SO happy to hear you enjoyed Poly CL! I've been reading such negative reviews of it lately, and people on the Poly FAQ that are CL devotees have even downgraded to a non CL room because of it. DS really wants to stay there, my mom and I would like to try GF. I think we'll end up with a split stay so long as I can get an AP rate so we don't have to buy tickets for each part of the trip.

Did you try TGM message boards? Only one person responded to my itinerary there, I think because I didn't use the month specific board. Still, that one response was so helpful.

Oooh, yummy. Those are some good reservations!

Well, my planning spreadsheet keeps getting crazier and crazier. I am considering doing a split stay between Pop and Bonnet Creek. 4 nights at each. If they offer free dining then staying at Pop the entire stay saves us TONS, but if not it's not *that* much more. So now part of me is hoping they don't offer free dining. And if we do stay at BC I will be very tempted to buy an AP for my husband or I and get the Tables in Wonderland card, and plan our next trip before September next year. ACK, I can't decide what to do.

I still cannot get into the TGM message boards. I have emailed them twice with no luck. I'm about to ask for my money back.

You should see my spread sheets! My coworkers all want me to plan their vacations now, even non-Disney. They're color coordinated and have everything on them. Park hours, AM EMH, PM EMH, morning plans, breakfast, afternoon plans, lunch, evening plans, dinner, and fireworks/parades and their times. I'm not OCD at all :rolleyes1
