I would love December also. But Dh won't go unless he can swim. LOL MAybe November.
You can swim in December! Average daily highs are about 73-76, with nights cooler. Disney keeps the pools open and heated to 80 degrees when temps are 72 or less.

Thanks, my mom is coming over today to see what's wrong...I just get so frustrated ---I mean come on there has to be an easier way to thread it all:rotfl: We are going to Sept 26th Monday. Going at 5:30 after a day at waterpark and before our ressie at 1900 Park Fare. Making Nelia a special skirt for the occassion.
Oh very cool , can't wait to see your shirts!!! I couldn't draw a butterfly if my life depended on it:rotfl2:

I can't draw a butterfly either... that's what Microsoft Word & Clipart is for! :cool1: just insert, enlarge, print, & cut out

I think we are going to relax the night of the 26th - maybe head to Downtown Disney for supper and then back to the hotel to swim & chill - we are going to AK that day with character bfast at Tusker House :thumbsup2

I got there PL reservations today but not for the night of MNSSHP. They only had PL open til 4pm still. So the day the tickets for MNSSHP go on sale I'm going to call and try again. Suppose to be open til 7pm on those nights.

So right now we are booked for 1010am on the 19th which is fine. The girls just want to do it. So I figure I will book and cancle if something better comes along. They day of MNSSHP they only had a 1110 and I wanted something after 4pm.

Wow, been out a little while and you guys sure do stay busy!

I have most everything for this coming trip done...so I am working on a camping trip for next year to Fort Wilderness. Anyone out there done that? I've been lurking on the camping boards, but most of them seem to do rvs...and I have a gorgeous 16 foot canvas pavilion that would be so freaking cool at disney!

We do *medieval* camping every summer with the SCA so I have two huge canvas tents. (This is one we used to own when DD was 4). I have to show off my furniture.

I just can't help thinking about how much fun this would be.

No I own a small daycare but in the summer it is nuts here. But the baby I'm excited for since none of the toddlers I have really want to snuggle anymore. LOL

I see! It will be fun to have a baby then! :cloud9:

I like all the rooms, except Cars. Depending on how offsite goes, if we go to on-site again this is where we want to stay!

Us too. This was originally a trip for last November, then Feb, now Sept. I LOVE the fall decorations at WDW but really want to see it for the holidays. The next trip will DEFINITELY but in late nov or dec so we can enjoy the christmas decorations!! Would it be weird if I already started a spreadsheet with a budget for that trip? :rolleyes1 Cause I did :rotfl:

LOL, that's awesome! You're not weird, you're just a good Disser :thumbsup2

Glad you got PL ressies! I'm sure once the schedule opens up for MNSSHP nights you will be able to get your preferred time!

That's really neat and your daughter is precious!

I cannot we have officially moved to September.

We went in Feb and swam. The news was talking about a cold front and my polar bear family was playing in the water. Crazy new Englanders :scared1:

I would love to camp sometime. We don't have a tent or ANYTHING for camping, but I think Fort Wilderness seems awesome. I considered a split stay - camp for the first half, then on-site for the second half when we can no longer handle "roughing it"

Wow, that's really neat! We love medieval/Renaissance stuff and go to our local Festival every other year. That's a real investment you have there! Your daughter is such a cutie, too. I'm sure camping at Disney would be lots of fun, but lots of work, too. I know it's hard enough for us camping locally and schlepping all that stuff, but having to travel that far, then set up camp would kill us!:scared1:

When we live with so much snow, a little cool temps is nothing, right?!:rotfl:

Small world! One of my best friends is an active SCA member, they do several events and he goes to Pennsic (spelling?) every year. It's a really awesome pastime!

That's really neat! Thanks for sharing! That looks like quite the "campsite"!! Your DD is sooooo cute and she looks so happy in her nightgown with her stuffies! :lovestruc

I haven't been around much the past couple days.....this week was a killer!! Besides work, swimming lessons, soccer, track, and dance classes....I also had a couple big exams for school, including that exit essay exam I was telling you all about earlier on this thread (about how Disney portrays females). I hope I did alright!!! :goodvibes PLUS, tomorrow night is dress rehearsal and pictures for Mikella's big Spring dance recital which is on Sunday. Kailin goes to Cedar Rapids for a soccer tournament, and Alex has a game as well. Things just couldn't get any busier right now!!

On top of that, we spent a good part of last week battling a fever off and on (Mikella). She never did come down with anything, but missed school on Thursday and several other events and dance class last week because of it. Glad (hope) that's over! Time just seems to be flying for me! I guess that's good?! :confused3 I haven't decided yet. LOL! I'll just be glad when my college semester is over (May 18th), and I can concentrate on VACATIONS!! :cool1:

Things sure do sound hectic for you right now. Glad to hear Mikella is feeling better! Hope you did well on your test :wizard:

congrats on a semester done!!!!:banana:

We too are very busy. Sydney has dance competition the last weekend of April so they will be in the studio EVERY DAY next week. and extra wkend practices tonight, Sun, etc. I have managed to finish this for Syd even after jamming issues with the sewing machine which I have temporarly fixed.
Here is the end result...the pic is' kinda grainy its from my Blackberry. And don't mind Syd's bed head

Michelle,

I *adore* that top! I need it sized up for me!:thumbsup2

Thank You!!
I am thinking of making their MK shirts outta that pattern. Using the 2 bodice pieces in black polka dot, then yellow polka dot or plain for the trim and the red polka dot for the main body.

That's fantastic Michelle - so have to run to Fabricville today to see if I can find a pattern like that for the girls... fun colors & patterns too

I can't figure out how I would wear a bra with it, though! (And I really *can't* go without one!) :o)

I am thinking that the DD would like this top if I made it without any pink. I love the polka dot idea, you will post that when you get it made, right?

Also, does anyone know about the fill a cup thing at the lego store? I would like to know how that works, what it costs, etc.? I never have enough roof tiles when I play with my legos and wondered if that was a good way to fill up on them. (No judging here!) Yes, I like legos and no, the legos do not belong to the kids, even if I do let them play too!

Some of them come from when I was a kid,and a few sets were things that the DH bought for me when we were dating.

As for other stuff, today has been super weird. One of our office assistants was let go today and since our office only has 10 people the vibe around the office has been funky. It's not necessarily a bad thing but it always feels awkward when someone goes.
