My DH, DD and I will be at POFQ from Sept. 17th - 26th... :cool1::cool1: Only wish my DS were going also.....:sad2::sad2::sad2::sad2:

Is anyone else having trouble retrieving your reservation stuff online?

I do daily:rotfl2: Seriously it comes and goes all the time. I just assure myself by knowing if I just punch it in , then it appears. That's why ADR's took me long to do that morning cause it kept coming and going and it didn't want me to make anything past the first day!! I just relax knowing I DO HAVE a ressie.:)

Here is one of my favorite pics of my girls from 2008. They got selected to open Chef Mickey's...such an awesome magical moment! :wizard:

DD(5 in this pic) had mouse ear clippies in her hair, but they are a little flattened in this pic :)

Absolutely adorable!!

I thought that once we had kids we might be able to become RD people; but DD is not an early riser either. :sad2: I would love to experience the parks early and have character breakfasts & pics before the park opens... maybe next time? For now we will just close the parks down. :rotfl:

I hear you! My youngest has been going through a phase where she stays up until 10 or 11 and sleeps until 9 or 10. My oldest went through this too, and nothing I did changed it (trying to wake her up early for a whole two weeks just lead to a whole lot of crankiness and lots less sleep), so I'm just waiting it out. Oldest now sleeps from 8 or 9 to 8, so a more decent sleeping arrangement will happen eventually. :)

Ha! Mine is the same way...it has a mind of it's own I think! Ha! :confused3

Yay! I'm newish to the boards and didn't even know this thread was here lol. We're going Sept.21-Oct.1, without four kids on our first trip! Staying at Saratoga springs with deluxe dining!!!!. :thumbsup2

Edited to add that we're also surprising our kids with the trip, we're not going to tell them until we head up the night before to the hotel since our flight leaves so early. I CAN"T WAIT!!!!

Awesome.:dance3: We are surprising 6 kids within our group at the airport. They will think they are going somewhere else!

Thanks for all the nice compliments on the pic everybody! :goodvibes

Gosh IDK! I have a feeling every single one will be totally stinkin cute. I was thinking we would dress as a family. :confused3 Not all matching but themey.... Like a red, white, and blue day, tye-dye mickey day, black and red day, animal day, pirate day. Even before we had DD I always made sure DH and I coordinated so this is really not a stretch. DH just rolls his eyes and check with me before he gets dressed. :lmao:

i LOVE the skirts! They are so fun! DD will be turning 18 months while we are in Florida.

Hope your DD's arm heals quickly :)

I like your idea of dressing as a family with matching themes! Makes for some very nice pictures!!

Are you going to take your daughter to the Main Street Barber for her 1st haircut? We did this with my daughter our first year when she was 15 months old. It was the cutest thing ever  DD didn't have much hair but it was so worth it!
They give the kids tons of stickers to keep them occupied and they get a certificate and adorable mouse ears that say "My first haircut" So cute!

My kids are eating off the kids menu. I checked it out and figured 10.00 each for the kids meals. Another 15.00 for appertizer. Drinks 20.00. Plus DH and my meal. Dh always gets a burger the majority of the time. I think we we will be right around the 100.00 mark before tip.
Thanks

That seriously is a good one. Thanks:thumbsup2

Not sure if there are any Rainforest coupons out there but I know you can use them at T-Rex. I know last year a freind was able to use a coupon for childrens meal for 99 cents the server even allowed both boys meals to be charged only 99 cents quite a savings

Sorry, I don't remember who here was asking for the seller I bought the tie-dye mickey shirts from... I don't remember the ebay seller but I did find this listing on etsy:

http://www.etsy.com/listing/70540391/family-sizes-all-sizes-custom-ordermade

These look really nice and can be customized with any colors you would like :thumbsup2 I do not know this seller but thought I would post a link for anyone interested! :goodvibes

The tie-dye mickey shirts are so adorable when the whole family wears them! :)

I read that too!! I was thinking about using the kids calendars for the 99cent kids meals at T-Rex too :thumbsup2

This seller is a Diser. We're going to try to make our own tie dyed mickey shirts and if they don't turn out good, we'll buy from this seller.

If anyone has any other great recommendations for custom sellers, please post links. I'll be looking for outfits for my girls.

Kelly, are you aware that you can get 99 cent kids meals at T-Rex?? I read it on another board. It's owned by the same people that own Rainforest Cafe. If you go to Rainforest Cafe website and do the kids' reward calendars you can print them for 99 cent kids meals at T-Rex. I just told my friend about it the other day. It doesn't advertise to use it at T-Rex, but everyone says you can, and they have, and still do! :cool1:

Awesome! I had no idea it was a fellow Diser

I bet Amy(MikellaCinderella) has some great sellers to get some custom clothes from!

Please do share what you get for your girls! :goodvibes

BTW: Do you have the instructions for making your own? :-)

i have my ticker up but the months countdown part is wrong im going in sept. and it says i have 8 months to my trip meanwhile its more like 5. how do i fix that?

I noticed your ticker in a previous post and thought, "hmm...I wonder if she realizes this thread is for SEPTEMBER travelers?!" :lmao: But then I figured there must be a logical explanation! LOL

OK so my friend who's a flight attendent gave me this advice. If people won't generously move so I can be next to my kids, then I am to say "ok Honey...remember this is where the bag is at for when you puke, no screaming during take off, and I won't be here to remind you to go potty so try not to pee your pants and smell up the plane(I added that one)":rotfl: I never had to use it but my friend has and people move right away...I mean the only person that wants to be next to the child is their mother:rotfl2: Just some suggestions:thumbsup2

I honestly think it's downright RUDE that people don't make room for parents to travel next to their small children! Especially since (God forbid) they need assistance in an emergency with oxygen or floatation devices. How on earth are you supposed to help your child who is sitting several rows away from you, scared to death in a frightening situation?!? I guess since I'm a Paramedic I have different views than some other people. I would gladly give up my seat for a parent to be next to their child!

In fact, airlines should make it mandatory that a parent or responsible adult is sitting next to their small children!

Yes, there are! I didn't see your post before I responded to her as well! I posted a link to the 99 cent kids meals rewards calendars on the Rainforest Cafe site!! :goodvibes
