I honestly think it's downright RUDE that people don't make room for parents to travel next to their small children! Especially since (God forbid) they need assistance in an emergency with oxygen or floatation devices. How on earth are you supposed to help your child who is sitting several rows away from you, scared to death in a frightening situation?!? I guess since I'm a Paramedic I have different views than some other people. I would gladly give up my seat for a parent to be next to their child!

In fact, airlines should make it mandatory that a parent or responsible adult is sitting next to their small children!

Kelly, are you aware that you can get 99 cent kids meals at T-Rex?? I read it on another board. It's owned by the same people that own Rainforest Cafe. If you go to Rainforest Cafe website and do the kids' reward calendars you can print them for 99 cent kids meals at T-Rex. I just told my friend about it the other day. It doesn't advertise to use it at T-Rex, but everyone says you can, and they have, and still do!

Not sure if there are any Rainforest coupons out there but I know you can use them at T-Rex. I know last year a freind was able to use a coupon for childrens meal for 99 cents the server even allowed both boys meals to be charged only 99 cents quite a savings

Thanks Amy I printed 2 of the certificates. I printed the tooth one for my 5 year old since she just lost her second tooth yesterday. I also printed the goal chart for my 3 year old. She is Potty trained except number 2 she is having a hard time with that one for some reason.

But on the bottom of the GC ot does say maximum of 2 kids meal per table at 99 cents. Good threw 12/31.

OK so my friend who's a flight attendent gave me this advice. If people won't generously move so I can be next to my kids, then I am to say "ok Honey...remember this is where the bag is at for when you puke, no screaming during take off, and I won't be here to remind you to go potty so try not to pee your pants and smell up the plane(I added that one)" I never had to use it but my friend has and people move right away...I mean the only person that wants to be next to the child is their mother Just some suggestions

Looks like it could also be used with an elderly parent.... just saying..

Lori (Taylor Tots Designs) does some great work as well. She has everything from cheap to extravagant. Right now she’s mainly just taking orders on her FB page….but I think she’s working on getting a website up and running too. (A lot of designers have given up listing on Ebay since the fees have gotten so expensive). Lori has a pretty quick turnaround time, which is amazing since she has 5 small kids, including twin boys that were born in October! We’ve orders TONS from Lori and she’s become a good friend through her designing and my matching with bows and jewelry. We used to do a lot of collaborations together, but I just don’t have time to make bows/jewelry like I used to. My online classes are so time-consuming right now.

Here’s some photos of Mikella wearing a Scraps of Heaven custom at 1900 Park Fare last year. It was SUCH A HIT with the Steps!! Cinderella paraded her all around the entire dining room showing off her dress, the step mother danced with her while Cinderella and Prince Charming were dancing, and then the Steps took her outside to the garden and did a private photo shoot with her!! What a memory!! Hoping to repeat this memory again this year! The stepmother made a comment to her that the only thing missing was Lucifer. She told Mikella to tell the designer that Lucifer needs to be on the dress, so guess what…..Mikella remembers that comment and INSISTS that Lucifer be on this year’s dress! (The pink pettiskirt wasn’t included, we just added that underneath the skirt).

You can always search Etsy for custom boutique vacation wear as well as Ebay. Sometimes you can get a great deal on resells through Ebay. I am constantly searching for resells. I just found a FB page where people list their resells as well. I’ve found a few cute things on there, but I’ve discovered that unless you stalk the page a few times a day, you’ll miss out on the stuff you want. Lol. People are quick on that page! We usually end up with several extravagant customs and a few cheaper ones for each trip. We don’t hang on to our outfits afterwards. Always have to resell them to get the money to support our habit and buy new ones for the next trip! ; ) If it wasn’t for the ability to resell them, there is NO way I could afford to buy more! Mikella’s custom outfits have created some VERY memorable moments for us at WDW and DCL! The characters always spend extra time with her and she gets chosen for participating in things just because of her outfits sometimes.***

VERY good point! Last year I was shocked to find out there was a chance we could be seperated from our children. (First time flyers) Thankfully that never happened.

You are killing me!! My kids are 7 and turning 12. I'm in my early 40's. I'm done having children. But all these gorgeous clothing links are making me wish for another girl!

Does anyone else wish there was more Disney adult clothing out there? I need to find something halloweenish for DH & I - MNSSHP. I'm going to try making a couple of those bleach pen shirts I came across. I found a clorax bleach pen, and some shirts on sale in the kids sizes. If it turns out, I'm going to make a couple of these for us and insist DH wear one!
