I made our ADRs this morning! :woohoo:

9/11 Chef Mickey's
9/12 Garden Grill
9/13 Ohana
9/14 Sci-Fi
9/15 Boma
9/16 Whispering Canyon
9/17 Via Napoli

This is subject to change since I can't ever make up my mind! :rotfl:

Yeah for getting everything you wanted. I get to make mine on Monday!!
Geez, you guys have been busy!!

I am so tired of being sick! Ugh! I'm at work today, but I still feel like I got hit by a truck.

We make our ADRs on Sunday! Can't wait!!!

Sorry you are feeling sick. Hugs!

9 days untill we can make our ADR's,waiting,waitingpopcorn::

Us too!!! I need to fill out our CL questionnaire and send it back to IPO ASAP. I haven't had any time since Lilyana wants to nurse 20 out of 24 hours in the day, literally! Hopefully tonight when I get her swing put together it will keep her occupied for a little while and I can get to planning.

Great ADRs, maybe we'll see you at Whispering Canyon!!

:dance3: YAY for the two of you!!! It looks like you guys made some awesome choices. Is there any of us NOT doing 'Ohana?! :rotfl:

I wasn't going to do it, until you all started talking about it, which prompted me to read up on how awesome it sounds! ;)

Congrates on getting the ADR's you wanted.

San Angel is one of the places I am on the fence about for this trip, I have wanted to eat there since our first tip back in '89 but we just never have :sad2:
I am guessing it is one of your favorites since you are returning to it? What do you like about it I haver read mixed reviews. I love  the atmosphere, not sure about the food :confused3

We ate there 3 trips ago. We're going back because I think my girls will enjoy the atmosphere and it will be a nice air conditioned lunch. We've tried eating there on every trip since then as just a walk up but the line is always huge. Nothing sticks out in my mind about the food being fantastic, but I did enjoy it. I was looking at the menu and it seems too pricey, but I figure my girls and I can split a meal and I can pick up something little at any of the other WS CS if I'm still hungry. Sorry I can't provide any more specific feedback!

That's exactly how Mallory is! I feel like she's nursing ALL DAY LONG!

She is actually booked with the kids free promo at pop. But then has a room only for the Poly using the 40% discount. So she is getting the tickets with her first package. But no dining with the Poly. I'm not sure that makes a diffrence or not? But I'm with you stay at pop and just do the dining for the entire stay.
Ooohhh.. gotcha. That IS a hard decision. Especially not knowing if FD is going to be re-released.

Shiela - we are doing a gift card for our dining too. So far it only has $70 on it but it is better than nothing. Going back to the disney store on the 29th to pick up Tangled so I will throw some more money on it then.

This is more of a question for off site diners, but this has become my go to place on the dis so I figured I would check here first...
I am thinking of getting pizza delivered when we are off site. I heard Giordanos was good AND they have restaurant.com vouchers. Can I use a restaurant.com voucher for delivery or are they more of a dine in type of thing? I have one for HOB when we go to DTD. I never used them before and am a newbie to them.

I've already made a change to our ADRs! :rolleyes1

9/11 Chef Mickey's
9/12 Garden Grill
9/13 Ohana
9/14 Sci-Fi
9/15 Tusker House / T-Rex
9/16 Whispering Canyon
9/17 Via Napoli

I wasn't too sure how my husband and Jake would end up liking Boma, so I made us a Tusker House breakfast reservation and one for dinner at T-Rex. Jake is OBSESSED with dinosaurs, so I know he'll love it! :goodvibes

My dd Reese she is 3 is a dinsaour freak and toy story. She loves all dinosaurs in fact she went to bed with one last night. So T-rex is a must along with build a dino. We are also doing Tusker house. I love there breakfest they do serve some diffrent things along with the tradtional fare. Love the breads.

What a great thread! Thank you LHarper for referring me to this thread!

I thought I would introduce myself and my family. I'm Becky (a librarian, in case you couldn't tell:goodvibes). My husband (computer techie guy) and my son (four years old now, but will be five when we go on our trip) will be going on our first WDW family vacation in September! Our dates are Sept. 17 through the 24th. We're staying at Port Orleans, French Quarter. We've booked during free dining, so we are on the DDP. I am super excited about our trip!!!

Hi Becki....we will be at POFQ at the same time......woot woot!!!! I'll be the haggard mother trying to keep up with 2 teenage boys and an ultra fit husband lol :laughing::laughing: Have you any rooms requested??? It will be fun to see if we have similar ADR's

Maybe so! What time is your ADR?

Jake sleeps with some of his dinos, too! :thumbsup2 Yeah, Tusker House breakfast is delicious!! We loved it the last time we ate there.

:rotfl: I feel like a dairy farm. My dad has taken to calling me DQ! The only advantage is that I can't put her down long enough for other people to get at her. I don't like to share my babies!

Hahahaha! YEP!

I'll be the ultra un-fit mom trying to keep up with my little boy! :) I cannot wait to see POFQ. It looks like a beautiful place. I didn't do any special room requests. I know that all the refurbs will be done by then, so I figure that any room is a good room! We're arriving on SW at 10:30, should be at POFQ by 11:30ish, so I"m hoping that if we don't have any special requests, we'll be able to get into a room right away to freshen up before we hit the parks.

The ADRS I'm hoping to get are:
Saturday, 9/17: Chef Mickey's
Sunday, 9/18: Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package
Monday, 9/19: Biergarten
Tuesday, 9/20: Ohana (dinner)
Wednesday, 9/21: Crystal Palace (dinner)
Thursday, 9/22: Cape May Seafood Buffet
Friday, 9/23: Tusker House Safari Breakfast

Probably not really similar to yours...not sure how much teenage boys like character meals! :) My little one will love it, though. :)

We make our ADRs on Sunday! Can't wait!!!

Sunday's our day, too. I haven't done this for a while so need some help, please, remembering the rules. I can call at 6:30am east coast time? What about booking online -- same time?

Thanks!

lol I am sooooooo jealous of all of you with set ADR's....lol why is picking where we are going to eat harder then picking where we are going to stay???

Thanks Kelly for the clarification :) Glad you have finally made your decision, but still disappointed we will just be missing you at POP :( Yep we have the Kids stay and play free, and then the 40% off the Poly. I have read the pros and cons about a split stay, talked to DH, and we just feel that we're ok with it. I will likely put nights 1-4 outfits in one suitcase, and nights 5-9 in another. That way we won't even touch the one suitcase and it will remain packed. We will have our luggage taken by bell services to be delivered to the Poly, while we spend the day at Epcot (eating and drinking around the world for F&W :))

I want to make a 7:00ish ADR for 'Ohana, so we can get back to the Poly for say 5-5:30, give us enough time to check in and go to our room...even freshen up a little.
Then enjoy dinner and maybe a swim in the pool after.

lol i think I need to just relax about the ADRs. We aren't fine dining people at home so I don't expect to necessarily be one on vacation either :) I just didn't want to feel like I was wasting TS credits, but if we enjoy it, then I suppose it isn't wasting it.

I like what one poster did about getting gift cards and using those for their remaining days...looks like they were doing a split stay as well. It will be nice to have food paid for before we go (which is what makes the dining plan so appealing).

Looking forward to meeting people that will be at the World the same time as us :)

Monday I got all of my wanted ADR's also! We are at Pop sept 10-18th and we are adding a room only night the 9th (flights are cheaper, so DH said ok :woohoo:)

We are celebrating my 25th birthday and DD 1st trip to the world she will be 18mos!

We have:
9/10 Crystal Palace 8:05am Big River Grille dinner (no adr)
9/11 Boma 9:00 am
9/12 Whispering Canyon 5:00pm
9/13 Chef Mickey's 10:10AM MNSSHP
9/14 Teppan Edo 5:30PM
9/15 Mama Melrose 6:30PM
9/16 Tusker House 8:00AM
9/17 Kona 8:30AM (OOP)

We are breakfast people and have been to each place except, Whispering Canyon, mama melrose and tusker house. I hope we like them! We wanted the character meals so we don't spend tons of time waiting in-line for characters in the heat!:worship:

So jealous! Still have 12 days to go before I can make ADR's. My little man finally went down for his nap so Im able to get on here and everyones so chatty this morning! I feel like I missed out on so much already! :rotfl:

How does my temporary schedule sound?? Opinions are appreciated!

9/23 Arrival day! Plane lands around 330 so possibly eat dinner at the hotel or DTD depending on how DS is acting.
9/24 Dinner at Chef Mickeys
9/25 Breakfast at Tusker house and Dinner at Cinderellas Royal Table
9/26 Dinner at Chefs d' France
9/27 MNSSHP!! Dinner at Crystal Palace
9/28 Trex Lunch , Tutto Italy Dinner
9/29 Le Cellier lunch
9/30 Hollywood and Vine Breakfast, La Hacienda Dinner
10/1 Dinner at Ohanas.. family favorite!
10/2 Breakfast at the hotel/dtd then home =(

DS really loves the characters so we tried to get as many meals in as we can, because we figure this will also save time when it comes to waiting in line for autographs. Tusker House and CRT were two of DH's favorites so they are a must and as much as the food was so-so at Chef Mickeys, DS loved the whole atmosphere that its become a must do. Chefs d' France, Tutto, T-Rex, and Hollywood and Vine are all new for us so I'm excited that were actually trying new things this trip!! I really wanted to get in Ohanas for breakfast but we'd have to pay OOP for that and I dont know if I could justify that on top of having to pay for T-REX and CRT OOP. Decisions Decisions!

We're doing the same!:goodvibes Split stay with 3 nights at Pop Century with 8 day tix under the Kids Stay/play promo, then we move to the Beach Club for 4 nights with the 40% room only discount :thumbsup2 We haven't decided yet if we are going to add QS or regular dining plan onto the first part of our stay but as I mentioned we do have a Disney gift card for the second part of our stay. I do like the convenience of knowing that the meals are essentially pre-paid on the giftcard :)

I'm not worried about the move at all. I always have my daughters complete outfits packed in individual gallon size ziplock bags with their names on it and day of the week for each outfit and we stay pretty organized so I don't think the packing/unpacking will be too much trouble. On Friday September 16th we plan on checking out of Pop, taking a cab over to the Beach Club and the kids will go on the Kids pirate cruise from 9:30-11:30 am while DH and I explore the resort :cloud9: Then we'll enjoy SAB and plan on attending MNSSHP that evening :yay:

I'm so excited...my two girls love their pool time so that's why we chose BC for the very awesome looking SAB and DH is excited about the proximity to Epcot and Boardwalk! Can't wait :yay: It sounds like you have a great plan too for your transition day!

I think your choices are great! We have only done CRT for breakfast twice, never dinner but the atmosphere is great! We're thinking about trying T-rex this time too. We've been to the Rainforest Cafe here at home and enjoyed it. My 4 year old likes dinosaurs so this might be a fun choice for our DTD day. Also love H and V breakfast, so glad they added handy Manny and Oso and the little dance they do with the kids was a highlight on past visits!
