We arrive on the 14th and I am ANXIOUSLY waiting my Mickey Mail! (My ticker reflects my DD2's arrival date.) Almost ready to hang the 30 day mickey head countdown chain!!!!

Hang in there! You really should be getting them anytime now! We arrive on the 13th and got ours a couple days ago

I can't wait to start our 30 day countdown too!

I finally finished my daughter's "Wendy" costume for MNSSHP!

The sleeves don't actually stick out-lol-that's from the hanger!

My boyfriend and I will be at POP from 9/24 to 10/3! SO EXCITED!!!!! It's his first trip to WDW and his belated bday celebration (he turned 30 last month).

Those last 30 days are tough, but there is still sooooo much to do. Less reading Dis and more doing out to be my motto! Also have a love/hate relationship with ebay. Just bought white gloves on auction for our afternoon tea at GF and awaiting the package. Yippee! Now I need the DD's to get their costumes together for MNSSHP, finish coordinating our hair ornaments (which we do more than matching clothes) and do our AK tshirts. Guess I better channel my inner basketkat and get them done!

LOL! I am not the most creative person around, but after seeing basketkat's & other peoples creations, I am inspired. I went to Michael's and have so many ideas now. I do not have to make any clothes or costumes for this trip but I have ideas for door magnets, tote bags, hats, shirts, etc.

a great place to get things is vistaprint.com - we made tshirts, address labels, hats... sometimes they have deals for free stuff - just pay for shipping... we did a bunch with caricatures of the kids on it...

So pretty and Wendy-like! I always loved her nightdress when I was a girl, it looked comfortable yet flowy. You really captured it!

Hey everyone!!!

Since DD9 has dance rehearsals the rest of the week, I took today and tomorrow off of work. Yay!

I spent most of today working on the two dresses that I am trying to make for the girls. I'm 90% done with one and about 80% done with the other. I had my oldest try hers on so I could fit it and it looks pretty good. I'm pleasantly surprised since this is my first sewing project. I still have to finish her seams and hem it.

I still have to fit the little one in hers and then finish and hem.

We've got a pretty busy weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll get much done, but I would like to finish them since we've got a lot going on in the next month. Once I get the dresses done, I'll post a pic. I have to post it with it on the girls since it's a halter dress and it doesn't look right on a hanger.

I can't believe how close our trip is now. Gettting close to the one month mark. I unfortunately will not get any Mickey Mail this trip since we are staying at the Dolphin. But excited for all of you who are getting your Mickey mail

Me too, I think then it'll feel like the real deal for me. Right now I just feel really burnt out and overworked, so I could use something to pick me up right now.

I totally agree! The summer camp I work for finishes up our last session next week. As much as I love camp and our campers,,,I can't wait for it to be over with for the season!

That is exciting. We are arriving right after you so I am going to watch the mail very close today.

We are staying at POR for the first time and arriving Sept 17-24.

We will be there the exact same time and....

We got our magical express mail today as well!!

Got my mousekeeping envelopes done. School starts up again Aug 30th, so I emailed my professor two days ago to let him know I'd be out of town without internet access (sorta a white lie because I may have a smart phone by then...but I'm still not doing school work on my vacation!!) for 1 week of the 8 week class. He didn't sound very enthused, saying its not ideal and I'll have to work ahead and make some stuff up...which I told him I was ready and willing to do--so I hope it won't be a big deal! I'll make it work for vacation's sake!

Finally went to the dollar store to pick up the red and black poster board, and stopped at Home Depot to pick up some extra Mickey head paint samples (seem to have misplaced my stash ) so hoping to get our countdown calendar ready for our 30 day mark on Sunday

That one thing that I am going to miss since this trip s a surprise. I love making a countdown calendar, but oh well, the surprise will be worth it.
