September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

I'm starting to freak out a little with the deadline for final payment being only 10 days away! i have our cruise paid in full, but not the parks portion of our trip. I'm suddenly debating changing our dates a bit.....since we haven't booked airfare yet, but I have to make a final decision before July 20th. I've been anxiously searching new ADR's to see if they are even available on the new dates. The new dates would put us in the parks after the cruise (Sept. 11)....so we'd be there for MNSSHP. I know I discussed this awhile back, but decided not to change plans.....and now I'm debating again! Ugh! I just can't make up my mind!!

I understand. My 45 days is Wednesday. So I'm transfering funds to the checking accout to get the last 200.00 paid. Then putting it back on Friday.

Next week I also have a check coming in for 400.00. So we are thinking of upgrading to a moderate. But we have a room only for one night than we need to check out and check back in for our FD promo. If we choose one we are thinking CBR since that is the only one we haven't stayed at. But then I love the PO resorts. Also the past 2 years we have really enjoyed are stays at pop even though it is a value we really like it there.

We found the mickey faces at home depot today - I know the lime green is tradition but couldn't resist all the other colors too - our rooms will be mickey face central!

We used them for our countdown calender for our June trip. We'll go in reverse order for our Sept/Oct trip.

Jumping on board. We are headed to Pop Century on Sept 22-29. This is our second trip and we will be celebrating my birthday and our 10 year wedding anniversary.

Hubby and I will be staying at POP from Sept 19th to Oct 3rd. Disney is a great place to celebrate. Are you going to the MNSSHP?

I made my youngest's Tinkerbell costume today. I will try to post pictures tomorrow! I bought way too much tulle, so I made her a wand and a trick or treat bag as well! I agree that the days are just ticking away...I love it!

WHEW! Chasing after this 1 year old keeps me B-U-S-Y! I have time to read on DIS but commenting is another story.

Sometime last week we finally booked our return flight home. We are now coming home October 6th instead of the 4th. And pretty much because of this thread we are moving to the................ POP on the 4th to finish our stay. I am SUPER excited to stay at this resort after hearing how much everyone LOVES it. I had told DH before extending our stay that we need to visit POP at some point during our stay to see what all they hype was about; and maybe try the FAMOUS tye-dye cheesecake (DH is not as sweet lover but boy does he like cheesecake.) Now we will experience the resort (and cheesecake) first hand.

I also visited JoAnn Fabrics during the 4th of July sale and purchased some 99 cent patterns; hopefully I will actually make DD something. Who knows we will see. I also got some CUTE Disney scrapbook paper and some awesome Mickey Stamps.

I also wanted to make sure my fellow crafter know that JoAnn's has Disney fabric on sale for 50% thru the 16th.

Yeah for extending your trip! I have heard great things about POP...I bet you will love it!

Thanks as well for 50% heads up!! I have a few projects waiting to be done....especially one more shirt for MK. I also have other ideas I wanna do but I just need time to sit and do them!!! It's hard cause working takes away my time and then we have been hanging ALOT with our friends this summer so haven't been home much ---which my house shows that Needs a good maid!!! Plus we have had a few road trips that have left me with suitcases everywhere. I have one more family trip and then I will be using the suitcases to start packing..

Coming up quick. It seems to be moving a bit faster now. Not sure if that is beacuse we moved our trip up. But I think know that we are in July and we will be seeing our mickey mail soon that it is getting close.

I have a funny story... DH and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on Friday. We had agreed to not buy gifts for each other. Of course, I didn't get in anything but he got me stuff. I was annoyed, but happy! I unwrap it and see that it is a Disney store box! In it was a Mickey shirt for me, a shirt for him, a pair of Mickey sandals and a Mickey water bottle. My hubby sure knows the way to my heart!!!
