September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

LOL I think that should be our group motto ;)

I have to register my YDD for pre-K tomorrow.... which doesn't seem possible....

I need to go through the posts and find all of the ones where people listed things we need to take with us LOL

I have a bad headache but I think its from not having coffee this morning.... probably should go have a cup.... with my LUNCH LOL!!!

I think the only reservation I have left to make is my dogs reservation for his doggy hotel LOL

I'm starting envelopes, but my big worry is that we'll have so much cash, BUT I suppose we CAN use our KTTW and pay that off with the cash right???

I love that motto.... and it will only get better the shorter it gets!!!!!

It was a busy weekend for us... My 7 year old DD made her 1st communion on Saturday :lovestruc and I just couldn't believe it (I feel like we just baptized her and the time is flying by ) and then Mother's Day on Sunday, but it was a great weekend :goodvibes

My MNSSHP tickets arrived in the mail today ! :cool1:

Congrats to your daughter.

Both of my girls were sick all weekend. My youngest has been slepping for 2 hours she was up half the night sick. She seems better today.

This is the first Disney Trip for our family (DH & DS, soon to be 5).

Any tips or suggestions?

Also we will be suprising our son. Does anyone have any suggestions on that? All me & my husband can think of is that we our going to see mommy & daddy's friends (which we do have in the Orlando area).

So I am a "newbie" but I have been lurking for a while now :) I love all the great info at this forum!! My family is visiting Sept 17-23 and I am wondering what everyone's opinions are on how busy WDW is around that time? I haven't been since 2007 and that was Thanksgiving week...

Thanks! :)

Yes I forgot to add my dates. We are going to Disney World September 20-27 and staying at CBR for my 35th birthday.

I hope all the moms had a great Mother's Day! I'm up at my parent's cabin enjoying nature and their hot tub. :cloud9:

We had some great Disney times this weekend: my mom recently found her journals from our 1983 trip to Disneyland (I was 2.5) and our 1987 trip to WDW (I was 6.5). They were full of great details like the prices back then and what we saw. Apparently we ate McDonalds at least 2x a day! :scared1: Also I have always remembered the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride fondly but apparently it terrified me at the time. My dad also unearthed the slide projector and we saw the few slides we had from Disneyland too.

Now that warmer weather is here, our trip feels like it's right around the corner! I like your motto, Smile4Me! :) Just fun summer months left and there we are!

Just wanted to update all you guys! Went to the doctor for DS today regarding his burns. The doctor said he is making great progress! In fact most of his burns are scabbed over and his deepest ones have gotten so tiny that the doctor said in 4-5 days they should be healed as well :banana: With the exception of some redness (which could last up to a year) he should be back to normal by next tuesday! So excited to hear this news, they predicted a month and it looks like it might only take him 2.5 weeks total!

Hi all -

I haven't been on disboards for a while so I'm just posting to see my ticker

Happy countdown everyone :)

We got our MNSSHP tickets today, are you unimpressed with them? I was. I remember when we went in 2006 the cards were actually Halloween themed and this time, not at all. :confused3

Yeah last year they were plain too. There was a special Photo Pass card for the party that was Halloween themed....

So happy for you!!! Especially for the DH return!!!

I have to say --where is everyone??? I was off here for 2 days and no talking:scared1: Hello just :scared1:cause ADR's and MNSSHP have happened is not a reason to stop talking!!:confused3

I generally only get on early in the morning or on a day off, which seem to be rare these days! :rotfl: I'm up to 13 hours/day now, which is annoying but paid for MNSSHP in a single swoop! :cool1: My hours will scale back to 40-42 right after school lets out, so bring on June 2nd!
We're going to try to reschedule our beach trip at the beginning of the summer, but I think the plan is to go camping at Edisto. My DH has left me to the World planning, he's taking care of the beach. :thumbsup2 I'm also debating one day at IOA while we're in Florida; that one will be for me exclusively, though, since I'm the Harry Potter nut in the house. Has anyone been yet?

Have not been yet, but so excited. My sister went last year and loved it.

When we went to MVMCP in Dec the photopasses were even plain and we were told the normal 40% off for special events photopass pictures..that stink cause I would have ordered more. So this trip I am gonna get the CD so I can have every photo!!
