Hope I'm not too late either!!

We are coming from Australia for 12 nights at POR, with free dining, arriving on the 21st of September and we are beyond excited!!

ADR's are done and everything is planned and the Australian dollar is going CRAZY at the moment - and that means more shopping - so it's a win win situation - I get some great deals - and America gets my money!!

I'll be at POR the 23rd

I just bought my MNSSHP tickets too! FINALLY! However, it took me a long time to find where I could buy them on the Disney website. Why don't they put a link on the MNSSHP page? I had to go to the trusty Dis to find out exactly how to buy them.

Now only 140 days left for me! 40 days until the countdown chain goes up!!

Woo hoo! Let the countdown for the countdown chain begin (I totally get it, it just sounds funny - now off to figure out how long I have before I can make our countdown chain )

So, I think we decided to just stay at Pop Century the whole time, rather than split the stay with Bonnet Creek. I'm actually looking forward to it, I think the girls will just love the resort, plus it'll save us a few hundred dollars. The only part I am not too keen on is the laundry situation. I haaaaaaate those laundry facilities. Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to pack enough that we'll be able to do limited laundry, maybe just one midweek load of my and my husband's shorts.

Just got ours MNSSHP Tickets for 9/20! I was so excited to call about them, I didn't even think that you could get them online!

Is it too late to join this party? I don't know what rock I was hiding under, but I totally missed this thread- I'm a single mom headed off to WDW with my two boys (17 & 15) for our last family vacation together. It will be a little bittersweet for me, as you can imagine.

My eldest boy will be graduating in June of 2012, so we're going, in part, to celebrate that, and in part to celebrate my youngest's birthday- he misses the Segway experience by just over 2 weeks!

We're going to be there 9/10 through the 19th and staying at POR. I got the FD promo last December and had originally hoped to stay at the CR, but with gas prices and heating oil prices doing what they're doing, I had to kick it back a bit. This way too, we'll have more money for the stuff that really matters- SOUVENIRS!

Most everything is done now- ADRs in place, itinerary is set and now it's just the waiting part.

Hoping to get to know a few of you and looking forward to waiting for September with folks who are as excited about their Vacations as I am!

Just got ours MNSSHP Tickets for 9/20! I was so excited to call about them, I didn't even think that you could get them online!

Woohoo! We're going 9/20 also! Buying the tickets made me feel like it's right around the corner but nooo. Oh well, gives me time to make/figure out our costumes.

Oh either february or nov-dec. Or maybe a nov-dec trip, followed by a feb trip. Then we can reevaluate. Or maybe August after that.
So in my head it goes week after thanksgiving, followed by a feb vaca, followed by august. Hope you get a lot of overitme

Hey....are we married to the same guy? I get a lot of "....what is this again?" whenever I bring things up about the trip.

After buying the party tickets this morning, I was in the mood for more trip shopping but I can't think of much more that I need. I did get some of those Purex laundry sheets. $8.99 for 44 of them at Target. That seems excessive! I guess I'll be doing laundry with those for a while here at home! I had to tear myself away from the new Pirates of the Caribbean Legos!

...or you could send a few of those to me since I don't need a whole box. Yesterday I bought our rain ponchos which were a pack of two for only $1 at Staples. I also bought these little zipper pouches that I'm going to put activities in for the boys for while we're on the plane.

What are some of the out-of-the-ordinary items you pack or things you take with you to WDW that make life easier or that you just couldn't live without? I'm starting to get a packing list together. This first WDW trip is going to kill me yet!

The three of us will be there on the same evening! My TA is getting the tickets for us as we speak. We went to the Halloween party the last time we were there and had such a fun time.

I'm glad another Diser from this thread will be at the 9/16 party! It seems many here are going to the 9/13 and 9/20 parties so I'm glad we won't be all alone

Our family is going with the pirate theme and we'll have two little pink pirate princesses with us so if you see us give us a wave

My kids keep asking when the countdown chain goes up but we don't do ours until 30 days out. We use the mickey head paint samples from home depot so I need to check our stash and see if I need to replenish any I'm so excited that our MNSSHP tickets are on the way

Ok we are back with our orignal plan at POP. We were going to upgrade but in the end I just didn't think CBR was worth the 750.00 more. We are doing TL anyway so it just seem 750.00 for a nicer pool was a bit much.

We are also sticking with the QSDP and doing 2 adr's OP. We will be renting a fridge but we won't be paying for tips now. So come on tommorow morning so I can get my free dining and save my self 268.00. Would be more but the photobook is included. Which is fine by me.
Hoping we get some good shots a MNSSHP.

Does anyone know if they have added extra times for PL yet for the nights of MNSSHP?

Ok we are back with our orignal plan at POP. We were going to upgrade but in the end I just didn't think CBR was worth the 750.00 more. We are doing TL anyway so it just seem 750.00 for a nicer pool was a bit much.

We are also sticking with the QSDP and doing 2 adr's OP. We will be renting a fridge but we won't be paying for tips now. So come on tommorow morning so I can get my free dining and save my self 268.00. Would be more but the photobook is included. Which is fine by me.

I'm with you on this! I love the pools at the mods and deluxes, but it's not worth it to us for that extra money. The photobook throw-in to me is a little odd, but I love all things picture related so I'm good with it! From what I've figured, the FD is going to save us in the neighborhood of of $600, even with the photobook, so I could just about have a happy fit right about now. I'm glad, boy did I need some good news in the worst way this week!

I think we are going to stick with pop also. I just can't see all 5 of us with 1 bathroom! I was also wondering about PL and if they had made the hours later. I guess when I call tomorrow I will find out. We are doing the party on the 23rd. We have 3:10 and 3:20 reservations so I guess that is not too bad but I would like a little later.

I know you've been really conflicted about staying at POP or switching to a mod/CBR but I think it sounds like you made a good decision! I've never stayed at CBR, but like you, we love Pop and $750 does seem like a lot of money to upgrade. I'm sure you'll have another great stay at Pop

I haven't heard anything about them opening later times for PL on MNSSHP nights yet. I think I read in the past they waited a bit to see how much the demand was for the party nights before opening the later times. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later though
