September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

Soooooo jealous! It will be another sweltering day here in Texas. Expecting 104 :scared1: again! I am from Seattle originally and would love to have your weather every single day. The slugs I can live without.

We were in Oklahoma City for 7 years, I don't miss the heat AT ALL. When my husband was finally up for new orders I begged and pleaded for him to get us out of there, I am much happier in a sweater and jeans all summer long, LOL. I can't take the heat for more than a week, it just drains me. By the end of our last trip a few weeks ago we were melting around Epcot, I was actually looking forward to coming home.

Just had to drop in to say that I have booked our Afternoon Tea at the Gardenview Tearoom. We did this last trip for the first time and for traditional tea partiers (not the political kind), it is quite a treat at a reasonable price! Last year it was a surprize and I got the girls to the Grand Floridian on the premise that we were checking out the Christmas decor. As we arrived early, there was plenty of time to take pictures in the lobby and walk past the tearoom. I played dumb and asked the girls if that was something they would enjoy...duh. We went up to the podium behind two ladies that were busy asking questions and checking the menu only to find out that reservations were a must. I felt sorry for them, but you should have seen my youngest's (19) face light up when I stepped up and requested our table. She confessed that she had walked past the tearoom thinking, "I wish we could have tea there." never dreaming that it was already arranged. It was a splendid relaxing afternoon. We travel very frugally, but this was a splurge that I highly recommend.

Just stopping in to say HI!!! :wave2: We have been busy here. Yesterday sent DD(10) off to church camp for the weekend to the Islands(Kelley's), then DD(7) and I hit a few rides at Cedar Point and then to Soak City for some waterpark fun.....my legs gotta bit red but they haven't seen much sun this summer with me working. Then we had a Kid Shine production at church. Today I think DD(7) and I will hit some Garage Sales.... DD loves going looking for treasures. Many errands & Then a bonfire tonight with our friends.

I am excited we are in double digits. It will be Sept before we know it. I am hoping to finish my sewing projects once the kids go back to school.

Sillylily---so glad to here ur still going!!:jumping1: I see :drinking1 in our future!!

Yay for drinks and general mischief at WDW, woot! :cool1: I'm not sewing for this trip; this DDs have outgrown so many of the cutie pie projects. :sad2: I'm doing tshirt transfers, though. We have some AMAZING DISigners who have been willing to share their ideas with me, so I'm slowly (veerrrrryyyyyy slowly!:rotfl:) but surely getting them put together. I am working on our family tees right now!Getting them done, and packing them straight into a duffel to be worn in the World! I'll do a few more, then call it a day. I'm pulling another 17 hour shift tomorrow, so I probably ought to make an effort to relax!:rotfl2:

This one is just finished so the edges are very obvious, but it'll tamper down some. This is the oldest DDs tshirt; DHs is gray, youngest DDs is baby blue and mine is pink. I'm super excited to wear these to the MK!:woohoo:

Hi,

We are going to be offsite 9/11 for 1 night.

Then... 9/12 - 9/22 at the Beach Club Villas!!! :cool1:

This is our 5th trip as a family but our first trip to the Beach Club. We are really excited to be going there!!!

So, I think I got 1 or 2 outfits bought yesterday! We got the girls coordinating zebra outfits and coordinating giraffe outfits from Crazy 8. They are doing Crazy Cash right now, so we spent just over $50 and we'll get $20 off a $40 purchase in a couple weeks. Woo HOOO! More vacation shopping!!!

I LOVE Gymboree and Crazy 8. Gymbucks are my best friend, LOL.

Oh man me too!!! Last year I had purchased a bunch of Disney t-shirts for my girls to wear on our Disney trip...and I had to run out and get jean shorts because they usually only wear Gymbo so nothing matched! Ha!

I did my AK theme shopping...lol!

I figured that they could wear one outfit when we go to the park and then another for dinner at Boma. Since we are planning to swim in between those, then I would like them to have fresh clothes for dinner.

I wanted to hit Gymboree, but DH was bit tired of shopping since we originally went out to find him some suits and dress shirts and came up empty.
