We are all getting so CLOSE!!

It seems like the list of things I have to do and shop for isn't getting any shorter even though I keep getting things! We had to send DH's new crocs back today to get a smaller size so that should be the last thing I have to order online at least. We talked a little last night about being able to go in 2012 and I priced it out last night--flights were $900 for 3 of us! Not cool!

Is it bad that I got a notice today saying my Disney Visa credit limit has been raised and my first thought was "hmm just the right amount for another trip to WDW" ?

Interesting timing. Sounds like the Disney marketing & sales machines are in cahoots with the banking industry.

DOH. The dresses I ordered for my DD came today. They are SUPER cute... but one is the wrong color. I ordered a cowgirl dress in cow print with red bandana trimming. but it came with PINK trim ARGH. Her cowgirl boots and hat are red (not that she'll be wearing the cowgirl boots and hat to disney... but she'll want to wear them with that dress after AND it's her halloween costume lol) Hopefully she can fix me up a new dress in the right color before we leave... we still have 30 days so that should be plenty of time I'd hope.

I just heard back from the person that made it and she's going to get it fixed and send me the right one. I can see how the colors could be mistaken in the wrong lighting

but Oh my WORD they are SO cute. and they are going to be perfect for WDW. Lightweight material and comfortable even though they look like pageant style dresses

Linda, not that it matters, but I gave you the wrong dates when I first came on this thread. Our real dates are: Sept 8 thru the 15th. Our last trip was the 1st thru the 8th. My bad. If you have time to change it, great, but if not, that's fine too.

Ok... I couldn't resist. I had to put it on her anyway and take a picture LOL. They are birthday gifts and she'll get to open one each day before the park and that's what she'll wear that day. BUT I figured since I'm sending this one back... it would be OK if I let her try it on and take a picture hahaha. At least I know the fit was just right

Today hasn't been going well, I was ironing DH's and my shirts/dresses so I can pack them and I found holes and a grease stain on one of DH's shirts, a black/blue spot on my favorite pink dress (something must have ran color on it in the wash) and the iron burned a pink top on me! (Apparently I need to not buy pink any more!)

Trying to look on the bright side, we are changing a day or two around and I added a Liberty Tree Tavern ressie before our Wishes Dessert Party. We have never been there before, anyone have any opinions?

I like the vest idea. You could sew a vest (or fabric pieces cut to vest shape, maybe even add tails) to a t-shirt and then cut out the interior of the t-shirt to make it only one layer of fabric so it is cooler. Add a big bowtie.

It is really hot at MNSSHP. DH and I found that out the hard way...him more so than me. It's shorts and a tank top for me this year.
That being said I really liked Marblies idea. Not sure what you planned for the bottoms. Maybe shorts?

Just wanting to check in and see my ticker. I'm starting to get everything together for our trip. I can't wait!!!

I got a birthday card from my FIL and what did it have in it? A Disney gift card! My DH must have told him how I always say that I will just pick out a bday present at WDW and then never buy anything. This way, I have to buy something.

We also got my SIL's shopping list for the trip, so we have to start picking that stuff up. It's mostly baby stuff like diapers, etc, so they don't have to waste the space in their checked luggage. They are flying from MI and meeting us at WDW.

We finally got Mickey Mail today. Our ME information came!

Now I am just hoping that Hurricane Irene isn't as bad as they predicted. My dad lives in NJ on the coast and I really worry about him. He's getting older and he is stubborn and didn't want to go anywhere. Hopefully, everything will turn out ok.

I don't, but I am looking forward to reading other peoples' reports! I'm afraid mine wouldn't generate any interest, and I actually have boosting (orchestra, cheer and volleyball) almost nonstop through the month of October when we get back. It'll be Christmas vacation before I can start my scrapbook!

I am so excited for all of us that our vacations are SO close! According to the first post, two people have already started their vacations. Isn't that crazy?! Another is supposed to leave today then another two tomorrow. KELLY's trip starts tomorrow!!!

What do all of you have left to do? I'm 12 days out and have a lot of shopping to do this weekend and next week. I have a whole list. I'm not a huge shopping person, so I'm torn on if I'm excited to go or not. I'm excited because it has to do with Disney, but its exhausting and costs too much money. I'm also hoping to get a later ADR for 'Ohanas, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. My binder is all organized, but I have to print off my itinerary to stick in there before we go. I'm shocked at how much information I feel like I'm going to need while we're there.

My binder is organized, at least as much as it can be without having received my Mickey mail! I still have a lot of things I need to pick up, but I'm having a hard time getting motivated to pick the stuff up! I figure I will get everything next Friday, when I have a day off.

We ate there last time and have an ADR this time too. We liked the food--basic "comfort" food and lots of it. It's a great location inside the MK too!

Well from what I am hearing the hurricane weakened a little bit....hoping it's not as bad as they are predicting...thanks for all your thoughts and prayers...we aren't on the coast but know a lot of people who are and most of them didn't leave! Hope they all stay safe. We have a trailer down in Cape May so hopefully that survives as well. We will be down there next weekend for Labor Day, guess I know what we will be doing....cleaning up from Irene....Oh well when we get home from that weekend it will be one week til DISNEY!!!!!
