September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

I rolled all of our change that we've been saving all year today! I ran out of wrappers! We decided when we got home last year that we would save it for souvenir money. We had $160! I was pretty excited because I rarely use cash, so it was mainly my husband's change. It added up pretty quickly!!!

We've been doing that too! So far with our "Mickey Money" we have paid for MNSSHP tix and park hoppers. It is amazing how fast change adds up. Fortunatly, DD's bank will process the change in the machine for free. No rolling!

I also purchase Dgift cards each time we hit $100 so we don't spend the cash on less important stuff (like the mortgage and electricity).

Thanks it says Turkey and Ham is that carved or is that deli meat? We are doing breakfest our last day but it is a full day. Our plane leaves at 950am in the morning so we aren't going anywhere except the airport. But that is ok we stilll get 9 full days.

We just got our ME tags for CBR. Yeah!!!

I sadly can not remember. And I didn't take pictures of food last year because my husband would of thought I had really gone off the deep end. I really am leaning towards it being carved, but I am not certain at all. Sorry about that. I remember really enjoying the meal though. I specifically remember the mashed potatoes, and there was a broccoli cheese soup that were super yummy.

Turkey and ham are carved. We had the ham there in June and it's the one thing that I had to have more of because it was so yummy!

I am so excited our trip will be here soon!!!!

I need some good ideas as to how to surprise our kids. We have not told them nor do we plan to until the last minute. (Hoping to get to the airport). I was wonder if any surprised their kids?? We are leaving on a Thursday evening so our flight doesn't leave until 8:15 PM. My the kids are 9, 7, and 3.

Awesome!!!! We bank through my husband's union's credit union...and they said they have to be rolled. My oldest daughter helped though. She was missing 5 quarters from her state quarter collection, so she enjoyed helping me. Oh...and her collection is now complete!

Hahahahaha mortgage and electricity! We had a garage sale last month, and I intended to save the money for Disney. But we went to the fair...and uh...who knows what else. I wish I had turned it into a gift card...lesson learned!

Have you ever used dafont.com? They have a font called Waltograph that is the same as mine, but is all capital letters. You can download that font and then print the names out the size you need on regular paper. Then you can trace over them on the freezer paper and cut it out with an xacto knife.

Going to be at WDW Sept.13-25. Going on our daughters honeymoon .
Oh along with her 3 kids, my other daughter, 3 grandsons, 5 close friends, and their 4 kids. 20 people altogether. Nothing like taking 18 people on a honeymoon . We are also celebrating our 30th anniversary and granddaughters 1st birthday. I feel sorry for anyone staying at Port Orleans.

We will be at POR from 9/12-9/18...we'll look for the group, what wonderful celebrations!!

OH man it's getting so close.

We went to Dutch Wonderland (an amusement park geared toward small children) yesterday and tried out a few things we have up our sleeve for disney and it seems like our plans are going to work like a charm. it helps that DD3 is so easy going so it's not hard to derail her when she's on track for a meltdown. a simple reminder that if she's too tired to behave then it's time to leave for a rest and she perks right up lol. But yesterday was a good indication that our afternoon break for naps is going to be nessecary.

We live near Dutch Wonderland too, well about 45 min away. And by the way I love Green Dragon too!

What are the top 3-5 food/drink items you are most looking forward to at WDW?

Me? (in no particular order...)
-Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcake from Starring Rolls
-Dole Whip (because its talked about SO much)
-Mushroom Filet from Le Cellier with Mashed Potatoes (not risotto)
-Caramel Apple from Karamell-Kuche
-Boma and Ohana (I know, this is two in one...) These restaurants are just so highly rated.

- Dole Whip
-Mickey Waffles
-Cinnamon Bun from MK Bakery
-Pizza from Via Napoli (which I have not tried yet but can't wait!)

We received all of our Mickey Mail, including out ME paperwork! We also received our tickets for MNSSHP for the 13th, I can't wait! It's all getting so real. I love the idea someone had awhile back about using the paint samples for a countdown...I think I will take the boys to raid Home Depot tonight while DH is in class....lol.

I am the same also! Morning clothes and evening clothes, even DH likes a change of clothing! I will however possibly wear a pair of shorts again, could never imaging wearing the same sweaty shirt!

I'll post my adrs tomorrow! I caught a stomach bug and have been sleeping on the couch all day my husband laughed because I keep saying " I'd rather be sick now than in 3 weeks!) Nothing is stopping me from my Disney trip!

So I got the ME mail on Saturday and the Magic Your Way mail today! I like the design on the luggage tags but my old ones are a lot thicker and rigid so I was surprised they were so flimsy.

We went snack/breakfast shopping today and got some stuff like mini boxes of cereal and fruit snacks that we're going to be shipping down about 10 days before we leave. It was fun to be shopping for the trip! 33 days left!
