September 2011 - The Planning Continues! (2nd Thread)

25 Days today left!!!

I went to walmart last night to do get somethings. I had all intentions of pciking up stuff for vacation. But I needed to get b-day supplies for my oldest and dh and I both needed razors. The razor's are seriously so expensive now. Four blades was over 12.00 for mine and 15.00 for his. I guess I will pick up the rest of the stuff on my list next week or this weekend after payday.

Thanks for all the advice on the touring plans. We are just leaving things be. I'm sure it will be fine.

Let me preface this by saying that my DH is Brasilian, so english is his second language and we often hear strange things come out of his mouth....
Last night I was telling the family that ITTBAB will be open after all and DH (remember the D is silent) says, "Is that the one where the bugs fly up your butt?" (slight pause) "I like that." :scared1: 22 years married and I had no idea.

Thanks for the laugh!! :lmao: So cute!

If anyone has been procrastinating like me and still need to get some t-shirts done for your trip, JoAnn's has their Jerzees t-shirts and tank tops 3 for $9 this week. I have the most awesome designs to iron on that I got here on the DIS from Shadowryter. If I can figure out how to do it, I'll post the finished products.

Yes my trip is 25 days away and I still haven't picked out a new camera yet. There is still things on my list I need to get and I don't have one suitcase out. I think I may start that today. I do however have a big bag in my walk in with alot of stuff in it for the trip. I also got my younger dd's backpack all set up. I also need to get a case for the new portable dvd player we just bought. I looked at the calander this morning and I think it just dawned on me I don't have much time left. :scared1: I need to get motivated this weekend. It seems like every weekend I have been doing a little shopping for the trip but there is still things I need.

Dh is working every night over this week except for Friday so I may be able to sneak out then.

:rotfl2:Very funny!!!!

You should be getting 3 tags, since children under three aren't included in most of the reservation information (so don't worry when you get your Mickey Mail). Your child's name should be listed once at the beginning of the packet you receive. Then throughout the rest of the packet--room counts, dining counts, everything else--will show as a family of 3.

I emailed my TA because I am sure we're going to need 4 tags. I can't imagine packing enough for 4 people for 10 days in 3 suitcases, even with doing laundry half way through.

You will still get 4 me tags or at least I have in the past. I think they are talking about the mickey luggage tags that come in your packet.
This is the first year we have had to pay for Reese.

KELLY I Know what you mean about the price of razors! That kills me everytime DH or myself needs one. I actually gave up buying the blades and just buy the Venus disposables. They last me about two months and run about $7 for a 3 pack. On another note, I cant believe you are leaving that soon! We are going to need a full trip report when you get back! :rotfl:

Last night I finally recieved my shirts for MNSSHP. They are super cute and we are all very excited to wear them (well I am anyways :rotfl:) So for those of you going to the 9/27 party if you see us feel free to say hi!

Love your shirts - those are fantasic... we'll be there - the family with matching tweedle-girls - tanks will say "I'm with her --->" :cool1:

We did Kim Possible for the first time in December. I loved it! I was determined to get through all of the missions, but it was starting to drizzle cold rain and the family was getting restless with me dragging them all over Epcot. Once you do Kim Possible, you'll never look at some of Epcot's buildings the same way. Because now you know there is something hidden inside that one or a neat special effect inside another. We won't have time to do it again this trip, but I am determined to get through all of them another time!

We also did Kim Possible for the first time last November. My kids LOVED it. DS says it's his absolute fave thing to do at WDW. Love this thread - I'm loving all the planning for our trip in Sept :goodvibes

We are staying at there too!
We flew AirTran in 2010 and again this year, it's nothing fabulous but we had a good trip and they were super nice.

Thanks for the good review! Ever stay at POR before?

Any other September travelers stay at POR before and like to share a review of the buses, walks between main building and rooms and rooms and pool?
Definitely trust our forum beyond the other threads out there!!

My DD8 is a big Kim Possible fan - what is it all about - was thinking of doing that with her...

Kim Possible is a secret agent activity in Epcot. There are stand-alone carts in the World Showcase where you obtain a cell phone. The cell phone has pre-loaded missions for most of the countries in the World Showcase. All the missions contain interactive features that will make buildings and objects come to life around Epcot. For example, on your mission, you may press a button on your cell phone and then smoke will come out of a chimney or musical instruments inside a store will start to play. It's so neat!

Yes, these tags are the novelty ones they include as a bonus with your package. They are just for fun and won't limit the amount of baggage you can bring. If you are thinking of Magical Express tags, then you may want to check with your TA to see how that works for your youngest.
