Do "hotel only" reservations booked through WDTC not receive the travel packet?

I've been all excited to receive something but here we are, 18 days from check-in, and we've received nothing. My little sister who booked an entire package through Costco and is 20 days from her check-in, received her travel package today.

I'm pretty sure it's just the packages that get something. I also booked room-only and haven't received anything. I was looking forward to receiving some Disney mail!

Three weeks from today, we'll be heading to Anaheim!

Due to the release of new ET dates, just switched our hotel res from Anaheim Plaza to the fabulous HOJO ANAHEIM!!! First time staying at the HOJO! Kids Pirate suite!

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do the day we fly home - Friday 24th at 7:15 PM from LGB? Unfortunately it is our 7th day and we can only get 6 day tickets. We won't be back again within a year to upgrade and a 1 day ticket is just too expensive for 7 people.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do the day we fly home - Friday 24th at 7:15 PM from LGB? Unfortunately it is our 7th day and we can only get 6 day tickets. We won't be back again within a year to upgrade and a 1 day ticket is just too expensive for 7 people.

We had the same situation a few years back. Here are a few suggestions:

• Have a character meal at Goofy's Kitchen or PCH Grill.
• If you're staying onsite, do a tour of the hotel.
• Enjoy the hotel pool
• Save the shopping until the last day and go to the World of Disney store
• Take a side-trip to tour the Queen Mary in Long Beach
• Go to the beach

I vote for the beach! We always stop at Newport or Huntington Beach before heading home, it doesn't feel like vacation without it!

We are going to the beach the same day. We are actually renting a mini van though, it may be cheaper then a tour for all of you, and they hold 7 people. there is an alamo car rental in DTD. Through costco it is $64. We are starting our day at Goofy's Kitchen, then picking up the van and heading to the beach then ending the day at In and Out burger, I have never been. We will actually be keeping the van till the next day so we can driver ourself to the airport, that could be an option for you too, you can just explore the whole day and just drive to the airport and not worry about going back to the hotel.

I live is a small farming community and even just driving in Portland strikes fear in my heart - don't think I could handle driving myself anywhere in SCal without some familiarity of the area. However my DSIL may be game to drive. I will check with him. Thanks for the suggestion.

If only my trip wasn't at the end of September, lol. but at least in 4 days it will be the month of. Man, I cannot wait.
