Good Morning!!!!!!! I was up bright and early. Le Cellier was my only disappointed! But, it is okay.....

Sorry you didn't get Le Cellier. What were you wanting for that one? I'd say keep trying, I bet something will open up. We're going for lunch because we order the mushroom fillet & they have that at lunch,too.

Is the 3:55 an ok time for Mama Melrose? Will we have time to go on some rides before and after dinner or am I just going to eat and see the show? I think I am going to use my Give a Day Get a Day for fastpasses so would it be good to use one of them that day? I am so excited

Hi! Glad you did well too! I would play it by ear on using your fastpasses that day...see what time you get there & how busy the park is. I haven't done the Fantasmic package but it seems you still should get to the theater at LEAST 45 mins early, probably sooner. So if you finish eating by 5:30, you might have about 1&1/2 hrs for rides. You should have time for a few rides if lines aren't too long. Have fun!

Awesome.....I will call today and see what I can get. This is the 3rd year in a row not getting Le Cellier. I feel like Susan Lucci and Meryl Streep.....not receiving my grand reward.

LOL! I also wanted to ask if you tried using the "range of dates" option. And try to move your times by about an hour at a time. I think I remember reading that the computer only searches for an hour at a time. What day, time & how many were you trying for? I just looked again & still came up with some times for that week at dinner. Good lucK!

We're going back with bounceback free dining, too. We also upgraded to DxDDp. We are staying at the AKL. I got our ADRs online with no trouble.

Sooo excited! We booked at 180 days yesterday and got everything we wanted! We didn't decide to battle for Le Cellier this year after a really nasty CM left a bad taste in our mouths (we'll be back I'm sure, just not this year).

Rose & Crown (last visit in 2008)
Hoop Dee Doo (Haven't been to this one in almost 20 years!!)
Kona Cafe (last visit in 2006)
Crystal palace (2007 I think?)
Chefs de France (2006)
Cape May Cafe (2008... and third visit, we can't get enough!)

No, I didn't try it, but I did get a reservation for there on Tuesday. I called and for that specific date (the only date I can go), they were completely booked. They told me to keep calling just in case there are any cancellations.

This AM was our 180+10. We are doing Polynesian free dining bounce-back. No problems getting what I wanted, I was very relieved! Did most with the on-line system, but had to call to get the Mama Melrose FP package so while I was on the phone I booked CRT and paid over the phone for that. Here's my list:

the dates of the bounce back are limited to approximately the same time you are there booking. So if, as your ticker indicates, you're going in Sept, you can't book a bounce back for January.

However, on our last day when checking out, I asked the concierge at the Poly and they said "Oh, you should have found a paper on it in your room". By this point, I had already packed and we had left the room, so I figured, oh well.

When I got home that night, I realized I had packed the paper in my luggage! I called right away and got the bounce-back. The CM on the phone told me had I not booked it by midnight that night, I wouldn't have gotten it. The only reason I got it was it was still the same day as I checked out. I got lucky, because my husband even said with a family of 5, with no free dining, we probably wouldn't be going back this year. I don't think they offer them all the time at all hotels, you have to look for the offer in the paperwork that's in your room. I also think they are offered more for the slower times of the year and your locked into a certain time period when it can be used. Mine said "for stays between 8/15 and 9/30". This is usually the times when they offer free dining to the general public as well, it just hasn't been offered yet.

One big plus, though, is that the Poly room rates went up this year, but because I did a bounce-back, I'm paying the same room rate as I paid last year, which I think, ended up being about a $40.00 a night difference. Staying eight nights, so it did save me some money.

Does it vary? When we went in March of 09, the bounce back was for Oct of 09. Hmmm.....just curious.

So, as I stated before I had made my ADRs for our trip.....well, DH got ahold of my list and started adding some more. I also just got rid of our Biergarten ADR because I didn't feel that any of us would eat the food there and I didn't want to spend the money on something we wouldn't eat. So here is my updated list of ADRs.

We are seriously considering doing Spirit of Aloha on 9/11 but we are first waiting to see if our friends are coming along with us.

Well I just want to add to my list of ADRs the Spirit of Aloha. I booked that tonight for the 5:15pm show and I am really excited about this. I hadn't gone to the Polynesian Luau since I was a kid in the 80's. . I can happily say that I am done with my ADRs and I am very happy with them....oh yeah, except the WCC ADR, I decided that since we are doing the Luau at night and Chef Mickey's in the morning, that another TS for lunch was just too much, so instead we will do a CS somewhere.
