September 2010 ADRs

Got everything we wanted when booking this morning at 6am.

9/18 Chef Mickeys 5:35pm

9/19 T-rex 5pm (might try to call and change this to 6 since we will be at AK and it doesn't close till 5)

9/20 Coral Reef 5:50pm

9/21 Ohana 5:05pm then doing MNSSHP

9/22 Lunch Sci-fi 11:05am, Dinner Capt Grille 6:05pm

9/23 La Cellier 6:00pm

9/24 Mama Melrose 5:45pm

The inlaws will be joining us for Ohana and Mama Melrose, My DMIL gets stomach problems sometimes and I hoping it is not on these days and not go because I know my DFIL will not go if she doesn't then we will have to show up with two less in our party. I hope they won't turn us away because of this because I know I will cry.:sad1:

I was stressing about the Inlaws not showing up and called MS and they said we would not be turned away, that things happen and they understand that. She said the only time it may be a issue is if it was held with a Credit card like the Fantasmic package we might be charged for them, which we didn't have any with a credit card and now I can breathe and sit back and wait for Sept to get here.

That is what I had thought...but I am reading comments that people are waiting until it is announced before booking a resort reservation...also, I read a thread that someone had stated that if people are indeed booking resorts in anticipation of FD that Disney may not offer it or may downgrade the offer as they will not see a need to pull people into World since people are "booking" on their own accord...after all, the reason for the offering is to fill up the resorts during a slow time of year.

As of now...I am still finding lots of time slots open for lots of pretty decent restuarants...Le cEllier, Cali Grill, CRT (although I think people are choosing the less expensive options with that one...we have already done those...so now we are switching to CRT...hopefully), CP, Chef Mickeys.

I think I am spending too much time on these boards...and worrying about things I have no control over...
Lol....it is true, I been spending a lot of time as well....lol. I can't imagine that disney would determine free dining by that. I have siblings that live in Florida and they go to disney for a single day trip and utilize the reservation system online to book. I guess what I am saying is people (whether they stay in a resort or not) use the reservation system to book.

I had a hard time getting Le Cellier for my week. I had to reaarange some other days to get things in. I ended up with Le Cellier for lunch on the day that we leave.

My ADR's as follows:

09/12/2010-5:35pm-Crystal Palace

09/13/2010-8:05am-Supercalifragilistic Breakfast @ 1900 Park Fare
5:15pm-Sci-Fi Diner

09/14/2010-12:00pm-Biergerton
5:55pm-The Coral Reef

09/15/2010-8:55am-Safari Breakfast @ Tuskerhouse Restaurant
7:10pm-Ohanas

09/16/2010-4:25pm.-Liberty Tavern

09/17/2010-8:15am-Chef Mickeys
5:05pm-Princess Storybook Dining @ Akershus

09/18/2010-12:00pm-Le Cellier

I can't wait!!!!!!!

I get to make my ADR's on Friday!! :cool1: I was worried that Disney might release FD on Friday (if they even plan on doing that this year), but I was reassured over on another thread. The current promo they are running (GC option and room only discount) can be booked until March 27th (which is Saturday). There is no way they would release FD while they are running another promo. So, I'm thinking that if FD is released, it will come out sometime next week.

I was talking about booking a resort room...not the actual dining reservations...of course anyone can book dining on line...but I am sure your siblings who live near Disney do not reserve a room just so they can log in at the 180 day mark...although I would not put it past some people...LOL...

Congrats on getting your reservations done!! Now you can rest before your trip!!!

My apologizes....I miss understood your post! lol......

I guess you are correct. They more that book the less likely. But, with the way the economy is I would imagine the flow (obviously lesser in Sept) would be even less this year. My hopes is they will have some great offers for us. I am crossing my fingers. I am so excited!!! Woohoo!!!

We are making our ADR's on Sunday - so hopefully they will wait until atleast Monday to announce FD!

I logged on first thing yesterday morning and was able to get everything we wanted for our group of 7!

I checked the system (out of curiosity) this morning and there is still availability at all of these, including Le Cellier, for these dates. Good news for those of you who will be making ressies in the coming days. Good luck to all!

I don't think that Disney would release any promos on a Sunday. I'm thinking Monday or Tuesday for FD for Disney Visa and then a few days later for the general public.

It would seem that Disney visa card members should be receiving some sort of information soon regarding the new promos.:confused:

I am waiting.popcorn:: I will call to apply whatever it is immediately.:wizard:

I wish it was already Sept. I need a break from school :teacher: and time with my daughter and other family members. :woohoo::woohoo:

Made my ADRs online this AM and got everything I wanted! First time using online reservation system, and it worked like a charm. Check and CRT and Le Cellier were still open

18 SEP Kona 6:15P
19 SEP Boma 4:50P
20 SEP Sci Fi 6:30P
21 SEP Crystal Palace 9:00A
22 SEP The Wave 6:15P
23 SEP Boma 5:35P
24 SEP San Angel Inn 7PM

Made ADRs this morning. Got everything within 10 minutes of the time I wanted, except for Cali Grill, which I wanted for 6:10-6:30 pm, and it gave me 5:45 or 7:20 pm. I thought that was strange, since that was ressie #2 I did this morning. What are the chances of selling out so quickly? I almost feel it's based in "seating times" Does anyone know? :confused3

Anyways, here is what we are doing:

Sept 18
- Chefs de France (dinner)

Sept 19 -
- Tusker House (breakfast)
- Cali Grill (dinner)

Sept 20 -
- Crystal Palace (breakfast)
- Ohana (dinner)

Sept 21
- 1900 Park Fare (breakfast)
- HDDR (dinner)

Sept 22
- Akershus (breakfast) (May decide to switch this to lunch - trying to figure out which one is more appealing)
- Coral Reef (dinner)

Sept 23
- Hollywood & Vine (breakfast) - on the fence about this one. May decide to cancel it and book lunch somewhere else instead
- Brown Derby Fantasmic Dinner Package (dinner)

Sept 24
- Narcoosee's (dinner)

Sept 25
- Le Cellier (dinner)

Sept 26
- Ohana (breakfast)

I still need a breakfast or lunch for Sept 24 and Sept 25, and a lunch before leaving on Sept 26. It seems lunches don't fill up as quickly, so I will finesse my plan for those days and then make the ADRs.

Very excited about our dining! Now, the tough part begins (the wait :sad1: )

You have to remember...you were looking for a Sept. 19th reservation...people have started making reservations for September 19th at least 10 days before you...those people who are coming in on Sept. 9th have already made their reservations...and if they are staying 10 days out...then they took all of the good time slots.

I am just hoping that doesn't happen when I make mine on Friday.

Congrats on getting what you wanted!!

That would make sense, except that I looked for 10 days, and every day the ressie times were either 5:45 or 7:20 - nothing in-between. 7:20 is too late for us, especially since I've read it's not unusual to wait for a table a CG, so I grabbed 5:45 pm, and now thinking about it, I think it will work out better. it's all good! :goodvibes

we got everything we wanted! YAHOO

Ohana
Whispering Canyons
Lecelier
Crystal Palace breakfast
Hollywood and Vine

yay for having an AWESOME travel agent who did them for me! ;)

Some of your reservations are some of the ones I'm hoping to make when I start booking reservations tomorrow! :goodvibes (I don't have room reservations yet because we're making them this weekend when my aunt returns from London, so I have to get up and do them everyday :headache:) Maybe I'll see you there! Haha:)

Just booked Tony's Town Square Restaraunt for Sunday Sept. 19 at 5:40 PM! Now I just have to get up early again tomorrow to make the next day's reservations.
