September 2009!!

We went last September 2008 and called the front desk about an offer we heard on the DIS for a "bounceback" offer for vacations in the months of August-early October 2009.. if you booked before you left from your September/October 2008 trip.. it included free base tickets and dining.. the offer, according to the flyer, had to be booked by mid-October of last year.. so its no longer offered

i have a very strong feeling that free dining will be offered again this year tho.. that info came in in April last year and the DIS was buzzing about it a few days before I got the offer from my Disney Chase Visa Card (which was suppose to be the first place to get the offer).. i would just keep an eye out of it..

hope that helps!

We booked the bounceback last September, free dining & 30% off at SSR or OKW. :cool1:

The general public free diing was released in April last year, not too far away!! :thumbsup2

This is too exciting - We are going to, can't wait!!!:cool1:
We will be there Aug 29th - Sept 7th on the free dining. We got the bounceback last year. This is our first time going at the end of August, hopefully the crowds won't be too bad.
Counting the sleeps:banana: :cheer2: :yay: :woohoo: :dance3:

Hello Everyone,

I am looking at possibly doing a very short trip to Disney in September. I am looking at Sept. 27th - Sept. 30. That is a Sunday through Wednesday. We wouldn't actually be staying at Disney except for one night... that would be Tuesday night. I am hoping they will be doing the Halloween party that evening so that we can attend. I am also hoping it will be a non-premium night so tickets will be a little less.

My questions are...
1. How hot is it during this time of year? (we have only been in July and December) Love December, hated July.
2. How crowded will it be during this time? We won't actually be doing any of the parks during the day, just downtown Disney and the Halloween party in the evening.
3. Is the Halloween party worth going to? We love the Christmas party, but would like to check this one out too.

Like I said, this will be a short trip. We are visiting relatives some, going to the beach and then spending our final day at Disney before heading home on Wednesday. It is a special treat for our son, who will be five at this time. Our bigger trip will be coming in 2010 or 2011. We just promised him he would get to go when he was five, so we have to do it! : )))

Any information is welcome! I am very excited about doing this and I am really hoping this will be a good time. Have a wonderful day everyone! : )

My sister, her family and I have booked our first trip to Disney on 9/12-9/19 at POP. She has 3 boys under the age of 5 so we should have a blast. Does any one know how we can make sure we have adjoining rooms? The travel agent say we can only request.

I can't answer all your questions but my responses are in red below.

My questions are...
1. How hot is it during this time of year? (we have only been in July and December) Love December, hated July. It is still hot and still humid. It is also hurricane season so it will rain, sometimes a lot.
2. How crowded will it be during this time? We won't actually be doing any of the parks during the day, just downtown Disney and the Halloween party in the evening. Make sure you check out park hours when they are released as they parks may not be open very late what with the economy and the lower crowds.
3. Is the Halloween party worth going to? We love the Christmas party, but would like to check this one out too. I understand that MNSSHP is THE hard ticket party to go to, especially if you like villains. You could check all ears for a list of party dates, I think they already have them. I know touring plans does.

This is the first trip we have had that I have planned to Disney. The offer you mentioned above is it likely to be offered this year? Is it free base tickets and free dining? I am curious so I can keep an eye out when we go, if this is offered I will book another vacation with them for next year! :)

Yes it was free base tickets and free dining.

I have no idea if it will be offered again, from what I understand it's been offered the last few years. Keep an eye on the Disboards in August and September, its usually mentioned (or just start a thread and see if anyone's been offered it). And make sure you ask the front desk about it while your on vacation. We asked the front desk and they weren't sure and then they told us to call Mousekeeping and they weren't sure either. Finally someone at the front desk knew what we were talking about and we got the flyer! You had to book it before you checked out so keep that in mind. It never hurts to ask!

211 days :goodvibes

We can't wait! This will be the 3rd straight year that we've stayed at POP in Sept./Oct timeframe. We love MNNSP - each year we've gone twice! Last year we actually brought back 3 bags of candy - at the end the cast members just filled them up as the night wore on. The temeperaures can be hot and humid but most the things we do is inside so it's not a problem. We've been farily lucky also - little rain and no hurricanes while we've been there. So, knock on wood for this year!:surfweb:

My cousin got a free dining pin and she is booking my family with her family! Hurray! Free dining here we come!

:woohoo: We just booked Pop for Sept. 24th-Oct 30th!!!! Hoping for Free Dining, we have six in our party!!
I can't wait to be back in the World again, its been too long.:cool1:
