We've been undercover Dis Addicts and decided to tie the knot @ Disney. We're gonna have an escape wedding then a home church wedding on our anniversary *or later... depending on how bad the pocket damage will be*

Thinking of a place for a dinner reception. I thought about Crystal Palace since getting into Cindy's Castle is so difficult and not to mention expensive. Also like the idea of Crystal Palace because it has a nice view of the castle. I want to upgrade my bouquet

Right now, I'm multitasking - posting on boards while making my email teaser engagement announcement. I recently switched to a mac and am loving iworks - much much better than any word program I've used before.

I need to update my pj and post pictures!!!

argh - If I only had enough money to splurge on wedding items right now - I WOULD.

Hi All,

I am a Sept 09 bride as well, I will not be getting married in WDW , but we are doing a small Disneymoon before we go to Aruba.

I wanted an Diswedding, but was vetoed by my DF, and he loves disney as well :. I then tried for a disney themed wedding and was shot down again. But I am now determined to get some sort of Disney Fairy Tail feel to it.

We thought having a disney wedding was totally out of our budget, I had heard it was very expensive (and I'm sure in some cases it is), we obvi didn't do enough research after reading that some of you are getting it done on a budget and it is much less then what we are paying for at home, go figure!! His family said they wouldn't come, if we didn't get married in church at home, UGH!!

Hopefully I will be able to do a VR one year in Disney.

So I'll be lurking the boards maily to get some ideas asking a possibly asking for some help/ideas. Possibly throwing out an idea or two for someone. Hope no one minds.

I am actually thinking about just wearing a nice white sundress. I think thats about as non-traditional as it gets! I already have it. I was going to change into it after the ceremony. The ceremony isnt going to be long and then we are going to a park for dinner and I won't get to wear a "real" wedding dress there So I kinda figure why spend all the money on a gown if I am only going to wear it for an hour or 2?
The dress itself is pretty fancy anyway. It's ankle length with spaghetti straps. There is a barely noticable floral pattern on it with sequins here and there. I saw it and HAD to HAVE it!!! I am a simple kinda girl and don't really like fancy schmancy stuff!
I have my headpiece and stuff and my soon to be niece will be doing my hair. We are thinking of adding extensions only because I hate having long hair and its just below my shoulders now but I would like it a little bit longer for the wedding.
