that ticket would let you in around 4pm that day. u get a wristband and then your good for the night.

Oooh. I was counting on the 6th too. That is the night we arrive. I was hoping for 'Ohana and then heading to the MK. Guess plans will have to change! :goodvibes

Thanks for the tip. Hopefully it is a glitch, but it may be a party. I thought the MNSSHP were usually Fridays? :confused3

I now have an other theory about the times. I'm wondering since MK hosted NOJ last year and it moved to DHS this year dining calender times have not changed yet. :goodvibes I do hope that is the case and it changes. I hope we can trust the calender on Disney's site and it's open until 10 with Wishes.

You're right... they are switching it to HS so I bet that could be the problem! :wizard: Oh let's hope that is the case. Maybe I'll see you there!;)

Will there be only certain restaurants in MK that you can make reservations at for the night of MNSSHP?

Yes they close early so they can clear out the park for the party guests. I assume the CS will be open. I have never gone to a party so don't know how it works but that's my guess.

Hi everyone. I'm pretty new to all this. My husband is currently deployed and he is coming home in Sept for 18 days and we want to take a trip to Disney. He has never been before and the last time I went I was in 3rd grade. So that was about 16 years ago...haha...I've been reading through the forums and I'm still a bit confused about the discounts. Are you getting these 40% discounts by registering through disney.com? Because I did that and requested a vacation planning DVD. Is it once you register, they send out emails with discounts randomly? And also, who is it that you call to see if they have your name with a discount? That really confuses me. Sorry if I'm wasting your time and the answers are right in front of my face! I appreciate the help! :)

Welcome zdaniellaex,
I bet your so excited for your DH to be coming home. I also bet your excited about heading to WDW. Yes some have reported getting discounts after registering with Disney for the DVD. Yes it is random. I have never gotten any discount over 8 years.
You can call the center reservation center. The place where you call to make your reservations.
If you have more questions feel free to ask. If I don't know the answer someone will.

Well I called at the crack of dawn this morning to make my ADRs! :rolleyes1

Got everything we wanted except CRT is not the day I want. :headache: Oh well! I'll try again tomorrow! :goodvibes

It is almost April... almost time for a code! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

if your dh is coming home on leave from deployment, you qualify for special rates at Shades of Green. Give them a call and see what they say. You can get tickets there and they participate in EMH (extra magic hours). The only thing they don't have is magic express, the bus from the airport.

That's so unfair!

If wdw comes out with free dining for September, will Shades of Green participate in that? If not, it might almost be better to bypass SOG if free dining is offered and if you're flyiing in. You'd have to crunch the numbers.

NO, shades of green is not on the dining plan for wdw.

yes, just a few more weeks!
not only am I waiting for FD code but.. I need to make ADRs (after I book of course) and I need to let my office know I need the week off in september. because I am waiting for free dining announcement I cant tell them for sure which week =/

I have read so many negative threads and posts about not getting FD I'm starting to doubt that we will get it. I keep praying that it's not true and they will offer it. If I remember from last year there was negative talk then too. But this year it seems to be getting to me more.

OH Disney please give us free dining.:worship:

I agree, last year the FD rumors were much more exciting, and positive! I wonder if it will be released? Not as much talk about it this year for sure.

Hope it works out for you!:wizard:

I looked at the FD thread from last year and it didn't even get started until 3/15/08 and speculation of rumored dates came out on 3/21/08. So we have a little bit to go yet. I think that we were all excited for it this year so we have been talking about it for months now.
