Welcome Joe and you will love these boards.
We will be in Disney 8/29-9/8 and this will be our first Sept. We are hoping for the first MNSSHP on the 5.

I am booked for sept. 21 2008 and am a Disney visa carrier. I just call WDW and asked them about the free dining, she said nothing yet and to cal back. I just want to make sure that I don't miss this. Is there anyway to assure that I don't miss this free dining?

Stick with the Dis and you will probably know before the operators do!!!!

go to Disney Sept. 17th to Sept. 23rd.
Would love to go to the Princess and pirate party and the Mickey's not so scary event.
Thanks
julie

Family and I are going from 9/7 - 9/13. I've been trying to keep an eye on they PPP, MNSSHP and Free Dining for the week we are going. Glad to have found this thread.

ARRJay, we're going the same time! (If there's a code, that is!) I just wanted to let you know that you can start making your dining reservations on 3/11...if you are planning on calling for the harder to get meals (Cinderella's Royal Table, Le Cellier, etc.) you can start calling then and they'll let you book all of your dining for the stay of your trip on the 11th...so start planning those meals! :)

Already have the 11th on the calendar :) . Been planning the meals for awhile now. My family thinks I'm nuts, but I wanted to make sure we got everything we wanted. My 2yr old daughter is a huge Cinderella fan so I really am hoping we can get into CRT sometime during the week.

Thanks for the post about the Halloween dates. However isn't it a bit odd that their doing Halloween all the way at the beginning of September now?? Did anyone find out dates for the Pirate and Princess party yet?:bride:

ArrJay & Imhall, hope to bump into you at the World. We are going 9/7-9/12!
We booked an airline employee room only rate and aren't eligible for the dining plan. I'm hoping a package discount will come out that could beat my cost for everything separately.

question?: how come when you look at the schedule for sept. 2008 its still showing Disney Stars-motor cars parade for the studios?
I thought the new one is supposed to start soon?

I for one don't think it is too early for the first MNSSHP to be the first full week end in Sept. This is a very popular event and in much demand. In my area this is the weekend that all of our farms start there fall festivals and most of them are including the haunted houses and scary mazes. This is also the weekend we start to see the fall decorations start to go up in our community. I don't know about the rest of the country but this is the norm for here. I think Disney is just catching up with what everybody else is doing. Just my opinion and nothing official.

I am planning a trip to WDW Sept. 13-20. I called a few weeks ago and found out I have a discount for my room and dining plan. My question is: I haven't booked my rooms yet (hoping to stay at Port Orleans). Should I be in a hurry to book my rooms? :rolleyes1

Hello everyone.

I got to make my ADR's this morning.:woohoo:
I got everything I wanted, but do want to tell all you planners that a few things are not jiving together.

The calender on the Disney site says it's open unitl 10:00pm on Sept 6th with Wishes at 10:00. When I called to get my CP ADR I was told it closes at 7 that night and they were not taking ADR's past 6:00. So not sure what to think about it. Could be another party. I pray not. Or just a glitch in the system at ADR office.

If it is a party and they are closing early that will really limit the MK days that have Wishes the first week of Sept.

Oooh. I was counting on the 6th too. That is the night we arrive. I was hoping for 'Ohana and then heading to the MK. Guess plans will have to change! :goodvibes

Thanks for the tip. Hopefully it is a glitch, but it may be a party. I thought the MNSSHP were usually Fridays? :confused3

when they will post the official dates? Where would I look for those? What about the Pirate and princess party? Where would I look for those dates in Sept?
Thanks
jUlie

edit: am I not allowed to post links?
