I do hope you mean they ARE offering FREE DINING. I think you have a typo and said not.

But here is your pixie dust pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Thanks for your info.
I just figured out our package and deducted the dining. We only will have 800.00 left to pay it off.

I believe the last day of free dinning would be Sat Sept. 27, per a bounceback offer I had when I was there last Oct. If you start your vacation on the 26th would you be eligible for free dining if my stay lasted until Oct 1? Also I am doing the Expedition Everest Race with my wife and got a rate of $114 w/tax for Coronado!!!! This is a special rate for people doing the race. It actually comes out to like a 38% discount.

Let's hope this means they ARE NOW offering free dining. Cause if they are NOT offering free dining you shouldn't be so happy for us. We would be quite sad. :sad2:

We are currently sitting on a ressie with a 20% off room code but would switch to the FREE dining if it comes up as it would save us more. The room code only gets us $260 off but free dining would be $520 for 2 for 7 nights.

Hoping for some Pixie Dust Please pixiedust:

I've noticed a number of people saying that they are planning "bounce back" trips this year. Does this mean they received a discount coupon when they were down there last year? Or did it appear on the room invoice? We stayed for 2 weeks at Pop Centruy last October and liked it. This year we are thinking about going back to Dixie Landings (PO Riverside) this year but are not sure with all these discounts and things being offered.

Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks!:surfweb:

From what I gather a bounceback is offered before you check out of your on-site resort at WDW. From what I have read it is usually a flyer left in your room during you stay or some people have mentioned even seeing a booth set up at certain resorts. You have to book your next stay within one year from you check out date before you check out. It requires a one night deposit to be paid when you book again before you check out. I have heard two different bouncebook incentives...one being free dining the other being 30-40% off room rates. Not sure how that works or who gets what.

Hope that helps. We are hoping to book a bounceback in Sept when we are there for the following Sept. We'll see.

The bounceback offer would be on your table when you enter your room. My wife and I had one for free dinning for Aug 18th thru Sept 27th when we stayed there in Oct 2007, also had a 20% bounceback for late Aug thru mid Oct when we stayed there in Jan 2008. The bounceback must be booked before you checkout.

My daughter and her new husband did thier Honeymoon last year at WDW and received a dining plan on it. They loved it and we'd like to try it this year if possible. I'm hoping one iis offered for Spet./Oct timeframe!:worship:

Also, call the CM at Disney and ask if you have a discount code on your name. The code was sent out via email and snail mail but some have not received the email but a code was on there name when they called. The code seems to be between 20-40% off room rates only. Though you are only allowed one discount per ressie so if you are planning on going during (we hope) free dining then you have to choose which deal is better for you. Also, request the new planning DVD and many have gotten a code sent to them shortly after the request with a discount code. (myself included). Give it a try it can't hurt and you may save some money along the way. Good Luck!

We can't wait to go down but it can be very confusing trying to decide how and when with all the different offers. When I get a chance this week I'll call to see if there's any codes attached to my email & name. :surfweb: :thumbsup2

Thank you very much!

Does this mean you can't get BOTH bounceback discount and free dining? Is that because it's two different codes or something??

I am so sorry!!!! I meant September is free dining. Not sure if it the whole month or not. All he said is they just started offering FREE DINING FOR SEPTEMBER.:yay: :yay: :yay: He was very nice:dance3: Probaly one of the nicest CM I've spoken to in a long time.

Yes. As long as you start your vacation at the last date (or before) of free DDP, you get it for your whole trip.

Last year Free DDP ended on September 21st. And our trip was Sept.21-Oct.06.

:)

I'm new to this site and I'm so thrilled to be here...thank you everyone for all the wonderful info.

One thing I'm confused about....I'm reading that dining is free in Sept. Is this for everyone or just people who were there last year and were offered the bouceback?

I so hope its for everyone cause I'm planning a trip for Sept!!!

Cheers
Xanthe

Does that mean we can start booking free dining now or do we have to wait for the release like the last several years.

The CM who said they are offering "free dining"- was he/she giving you the heads up to watch for the code or is it going on now??? I have been checking mousesavers and nothing is mentioned there. We also have the Disney Visa and have heard nothing about the free dining offer yet. Typically this is offered in early April for September...I'm confused as well.
