My DH and I went to MNSSHP in October for our anniversary. We had such a great time and it is totally worth the extra money. I can't say how the crowds will be in Sept. But the first week of October they were okay.

I think the first two parties in September sold out last year. We went on the last Friday in September and then again on Sunday. I would not go again on a Friday, it was too crowded for me. Attraction lines weren't really too bad, but the walkways, trick or treat trails, etc felt very crowded. The Sunday party was much better, not nearly as crowded, and many attractions were walk on.

Thanks! I've been to Disney 16 times and never knew this.

you're welcome. I have been to disney every year since I can remember and I never knew about it until after I joined the dis :rotfl2: I finally went to it last year. It's so much fun!

I also went last year for our first time and it was very cool- we will be attending this year too if we get FD or great rates!! :D

Congratulations on your first offical post! Take it from me it will prbably be the first of many :lmao: , I just made my first new thread post the other day!

:thumbsup2 Tinker Bell came and sprinkled pixie dust at my house last night. When I called :cool1: to schedule my trip Sept. 13-20. I have a 30-40% discount for my room and they told me I could get a 30% discount on the basic dining plan or a 40% discount on the deluxe dining plan. I have not really checked into the dining plans because I wasn't expecting both- my question is How much do each of the dining plans usually cost per day (adult and 4yr old)? I'm not certain which one I should get- 4 adults and 1 -4yr old going. Also- can anyone tell me about the bus from the All Star Movie resort to the parks. I've read just a bit about it but wanted to hear from some of you who have stayed there. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I found the buses to be fine, I've read lots of reviews that the All Star buses are poor. Being that the Movies is the last of the All Stars really didn't make much of a difference. you are usually the first picked up which means you usually get a seat but the last dropped off but really the other All Star resorts are literally 5mins apart so it is not that big a deal. There were always many buses and not much waiting time between.

At really busy times, ie. after the fireworks or Fantasmic! there are sometimes seperate buses for the different All Star resorts. (ie. All Stars Movies bus) but that only happened twice during our stay.

I would say Disney has got "moving thousands of people at once" down to a pretty good science.

Are there any other discounts/promos for September aside from the free dining in the past? Just wondering if I will have a chance at any promo if they don't offer free dining to values this year.:confused3

There was a coupon sent out to random people for 40% off, but I don't beleive it is stil lbeing sent out. I could be wrong.

In September of 06 we booked the best deal ever! It was like $450 for 5 nights/6 days.. free dining... crazy cheap.. i wonder if they will offer a similar deal ? But If its just free dining I will be a happy camper.

We alre already booked at BWV, but I am hoping for a code for our first night- we want to stay at Pop to save points. Here's hoping for some SUPER cheap rates! :cool1: Also curious about MNSSHP dates- we would like to do that this year.

Hi, I am so excited!!!!!!! After reading the post I decided to call and see if I could get the 40% off. (We already had reservation at 20% off) :worship: I prayed that I would get a CM that would find the discount for me and I did! I told her I had read online about a 40% off discount on rooms at deluxe and moderates. And that i also read that if i called that they could check and see if I had any special offers attached to my name. She said she did not see anything with my name but she ask for my reservation numbers and checked. She was able to find the discount and we got 40% off both the mod (3 nights) before our cruise and the value (3 nights) after our cruise. :yay: I was able to add the dining and tickets to first reservation. I am SUPER excited. :cheer2: This is our first time staying at Disney. We did the cruise with 2 nights before and 2 nights after in 2005 but stay at the Nick hotel. Did i mention that I was EXCITED!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Just wondering if anyone knows where to find the dates for MNSSHP for this year?

I saw them listed on the crowd level calendar on the unofficial gude's web site. I checked out their book from the library and have since returned it, and you need it to access some of their pages, or I'd look it up for you. I'll bet the info is listed on allearsnet somewhere.
