They have had the free dining for the past 3 yrs in Aug - Sept, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't for 2008. My family and I went in 2005 & 2006 in Sept with the free dining and a friend of mine went in Sept 2007 with free dining. I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer it again. We are planning on going in Sept regardless, it is an awesome time to go, it is a bit hot, but I really don't like lines and they are usually no lines or they are very short.

Went in Sept 06 and 07. Was there during the bounce back program in September but didnt book. I wasnt anticipating going next year cause I want to do the Disney cruise in May 09 for dd bday. So I let it go.

Well yesterday morning my dd woke up and came into my room to lay down and we were talking and she goes "mommy I wish we can go to Disney again and see Mickeyl's house."

Well that was all I need to here, so now I am ready to go again.

Hopefully I can talk my dh into going next year and doing the cruise in 09.

Just subscribing - we were at the AKL in Sept and declined the bounceback (bad move) but DH is deploying in a few weeks and we did not think that we would be able to go this yr (I am not taking 3 children by myself) ANYWAY, he found out that he is getting R&R in Sept and said "BOOK IT" - no matter what!!! I had to ask "book what"! SO, we are going again in Sept!!!!! YEAH!!!!

Booked for August 30-Sept.6 woodsview room at WL! Very excited! Boyfriend said we could go again if we got a deal, I saved $800 with a code! Second trip in two years...last august was our first vacation together, and his first trip to WDW in 20 years! Can't wait to go again!

should i just wait for a free dining package sometime in april, hopefully, or book now with the AAA rate and then change over when/if the package is released?

if i know there'll be 3 people for sure, and possibly a 4th, should i book for 3 then add, or book for 4 and possibly drop one? what are the implications (financially)

Booked POR for Sept 21-29, 2008! DH & I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and can't wait to go! I am hoping for some codes, but in the meantime and going to call Disney and see about the AAA discount. I booked online and hope that won't make a difference.

I hope they do it again. But free dining is only used to fill empty hotel rooms.

If they get enough people going in Aug-Sept, free dining will go away.

I wonder if all the people that got use to it over the past 3 years (that are now booking rooms ahead of time) might be enough to tip the balance against Disney offering the program, becaues they think the rooms are already full ?

So do you need to have your room booked already to add the free dinning code or can you do that all at one time? TOTAL newbie if ya havent guess already! LOL

We have the Disney Sept 27-Oct4th Cruise planned for after my hubby gets home from his tour in OIF #4 and would like to do 2 or 3 days at the world probably staying at POP after the cruise. Saving on food after all we have planned would be a BIG help!

Hey there fellow cruiser!! I'm lurking this thread, too!! You won't be required to have an existing reservation. If you go ahead and book it now (I already have for pre-cruise), you can get a new reservation to include the meal plan.
