September 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

I sooo want to try Ohana for dinner. Need a ressie on 9/17, 9/18, 9/21 or 9/23.

For trade I have
Princess storybook on 9/20 at 6:10
Ohana dinner 9:10 on 9/24
Chef mickeys dinner on 9/25 at 7:50
and Crystal Palace on 9/27 at 6:35

I also have a Coral Reef dinner on 9/21 I think


PLEASE! We wont be back to Disney for awhile (the kids love to cruise instead) and I just really want to try Ohana!

That is interesting.. I just called about 15 mins ago and it was all voice recognition. I'm still getting voice recognition. This is weird.

yeah, I'm calling wdw-dine. weird. I called back a few minutes later and it was still typing. I'm on a cell phone, so i don't know if that comes into play.

That happened to me about a month ago and it hasn't happened since. I think they're just testing a new system on certain callers.


Though I absolutely HATE those voice phone services. They make me all angry and then by the time I talk to someone I'm unnecessarily frustrated. I hope they don't decide to go with that permanently.

You can post what you have (place, Date, time, party #) on here and give them away if you want. After you agree to give them to another party you just call the dining line like you were canceling but say that you are changing the name on the reservation to someone else in your party, then give the CM all the new persons info. Usually you get great CM. Sometimes you get a cranky one who won't do it. I hope that helps!

OK looks like the digits still work as I tested it, but it is a different voice system and it encourages the use of voice rather than telephone key pad. Strange that I am the only one getting this new system. Oh well - if anyone else does eventually seem to get this new system, the keypad still works.

Have you tried an early dinner?
We had an adr at Ohana's, at 4:05 but had to cancel.
So if you haven't tried for an early dinner they may have something open

Ok.. this is the list (only 4 days).. its for 2 adults 2 children (9 and 11).

September 26 >> Kona Cafe at 7:40

September 27>> Coral Reef at 6:50

September 28>> Le Cellier at 1:10

September 29 >> Ohana at 8pm

Strange that I am the only one getting this new system. Oh well - if anyone else does eventually seem to get this new system, the keypad still works.

I also started getting this yesterday. I called from my cell phone. I hate it, and try to use the keypad when I can. Looks like someone will have to create a sticky for what # to press when, so nobody unnecessarily breaks their phone!
