I am trying to get through to my cellphone company for the promised FREE update. Planting Astilbes in the meantime. Looking forward to the flames of red next summer, if I survive this winter!!

I was quoted 203.15 plus 3.00 Handling and they charged 275.84 so this is a little more than I expected if I knew it was going to be that much I would have waited until next year to buy it.

I loved the SCA as a teenager- I just hating meeting new people, so when we moved out here- I didn't join back up. BUT NOW that my little sisters want to tag along (16 and 19)- I figured, what the hey? LOL!

AND Ebay is a much better forum to purchase outfits at reasonable cost versus the insane prices at Ren Fair!

Now do not get too excited folks. This cheapskate retired woman only has a Tracphone and since they are phasing out their analog service they sent me a new basic phone.

It is all I need since I seldom get phone calls anymore. Might have something to do with the fact that if someone does call for me my husband stands in the hallway and jumps up and down screaming. His dad did the same thing to my mil.

When I was younger my mil and used to talk almost every day since we were the only ones that our husbands would allow us to talk to. I miss that lady.

Ate at ESPN tonight, no ADR's so have to wing it. I really loved the dinger things. Crowds seemed light but didn't hit the parks only the bottle

I went up to pick up in my son's room this morning and what do I see but the blow up mojito monkey hanging from his ceiling with a bandana tied around his neck. lol I wondered what happened to that monkey and it looks like it found the right home. lol I just had to share this with people who understand.

I love ren fairs they are too much fun. We have a great one just over the Illinois border in Wisconsin but it is only open for like 2 months in the summer. Then there is medieval times which is a lot of fun too.

Aww, thanks for all the worries. I live in a house that is over a hundred years old and is nearly as substantial as I am so I doubt that the house, or myself, are in any serious danger of being blown away.

My dh is insisting that he not miss his bowling so I will be out on the roads to take him there. Priorities, it is all about priorities.

Poohbear67, you used the right word to describe what my life is like right now. Piling on, I got an email from my son, whom I have not seen in over 5 years. A delightful note it were, detailing what all I must do in order to be back in his good graces, several threats and with explicit wording that I am not to expect any apology. Heck, I never asked for one last time either. Relationship or hostage situation??? My brain says one thing, my heart another. My heart always wins out and ends up getting trampled. Life is a risk and I cannot be the one to not give someone a chance. Could not live with myself.

On the good side, both of my grandsons, who live nearby and sometimes seem to live WITH me both got excellent report cards. The younger one who is in accelerated classes got mostly all A's with a couple of high B's. WTG!!

Everyone out there in the bad weather, hang onto your undies!!
