September 2007 POP'ers??? MoJiTooooOoOoOOooo!!!!

Hey I don't know if you read the note on my earlier posts but next year I am trying to get a girls LONG weekend together if your interested let me know.
We can look for dates that better suit all of us(few of us)that go.

Ok if your dates fall on my weekend off you can def'ly count me in

I found a couple of plastic bottles of Malibu rum that should pack nicely in my suitcase. I'm afraid to bring anything in glass. I figure they can go nicely with the coke in our refillable mugs. (diet coke in my case )

I place the bottles in my large rubbermade's wrapped in my shirts and stuff and so far I had not had any breakage And when I am at a resort with no fridge... the rubbermades serves as my ice chest! Perefect for keeping the wine cool, some yogurt, milk etc.

I read alot today. I really feel pressure to finish this one quickly, because I think people will tell how it ends. Especially non fans who will pick this one as their first one to read! I hope no one spoils it for me!

Now to September! I think the only drinks I'll have will be with you guys on the 13th. I'm not a big drinker, and know that Orlando heat plus alcohol is not a good mix for me!

Husband: Just found out we are having our annual training in September, guess what week I have to go?
Me: Are you freakin kidding me?
Husband: Nope!

He's currently trying to trade weeks, but told me it's going to be next to impossible...they've already cancelled some of his co-workers September vacations! I'm so upset right now! He told me not to completely freak out yet....but I have a very bad feeling that I'm not going to be going to Disney in September !

No, we didn't take it this time. The only good thing is that I hadn't made the final payment yet, I was planning on making it this week. So if anything, I'm only out the $200 deposit!

I am so completely bummed out right now!

Remember you will be in the company of good friends at Pop. Would you feel comfortable going alone or asking a friend or family memeber to go with you? I know everyone feels different about this type of thing but last year when my DH could not go we decided that just me and DS would go and we had a blast. My DH was fine with it so I guess it would depend on how yours would feel. He keep teasing me about our suffering in the heat without him. He dispises the heat and we don't mind it at all as long as we are having fun. I hope you don't have to cancel but even if you do you will have that much more saved for next time right?

I have no problem at all going with just our daughter. I'd have to switch a few things around though...first of all, I would not drive down...so that means no Cocoa Beach this time. I could still take her to Universal as planned and of course MNSSHP. AARRRGGG, I'm so ticked off right now!

It's a 21 hour drive, with an 8 year old! I don't know if I could handle that drive alone with her!

If it were me - I'd go with your daughter, alone. Im going with my 12 y/o cuz my husband cant go....well, he doesnt wanna leave the 16 y/o whom doesnt WANT to go (can you imagine???) home alone!

I'm trying to stay positive! I'll find out more from him tonight, when I wake him up so he can go to work. Another fun part of his job...he works midnight to noon, I work 8 to 5...so on the days he's working, I only get to see him as he's coming out of the bathroom and I'm going to bed!

Jet Blue flys out of Boston, it's not very cheap right now....but I'm looking for flights!
