Very crowded, not prepared for that this early in the summer so not much time in the parks.

Our last day was AK & parking lot was jammed packed so we left.

Hi got in last nite too...checked out at 11AM at SSR went to eat at EARL for lunch... did the last minute shopping and then went to watch a movie. Was at the airport SWA at 5PM... what time where you at MCO ??? alot of flights were delayed or got bumped... my goodness I thought a few were about to kill one another thank God ours was on time....

We had an 11:50 flight, I was hoping for a bump but no such luck. Did the weather get snarky? We only made to Earl once to meet a friend. Her DH is an AK sarafi driver, how cool is that?

What day are going to MNSSHP?? I hope on the 14th with the rest of us.

Are you going on the 14th too? We will be there that night and we went last in 05 and had a blast. It is so worth it. In 05 we took the day off and just went to the party that night but this year we are hitting Disney Studio first.

Hello everyone!! I am so excited to be joining you guys again!! I had originally booked POP but wanted to add a day so I had to switch to Sports but then POP had an opening and I switched back!!! YAY!!

Is there an updated list on who is going when?? I saw it on the first page but didn't know if anyone had updated it. I would like to see who is going to be there the week I am going.

Ang, and poohbear: I am so sad to say that I will not be joing all of you on the 14th for mnsshp we dont arrive in Disney untill Sept 17th-23rd so the only halloween party going on during our stay is on the 21st. As much as I would LOVE to go when all you guys go Im sure I will still have fun. I have looked at the picture thread and it looks amazing! Now I just have a few questions about photopass....If anyone here knows alot about photopass please PM me cause I have a ton of questions

Blue eyes: So glad to hear you got the resort you wanted! I know I have been trying to switch my sister and neice over to POP for like 3 weeks and there have been NO openings at pop so I think we may be a little crowded during our stay----ohwell, ITS DISNEY! (she is booked over at ASmusic, she wanted POP, to be with us, but has never had avalability since she booked 3 weeks ago)!

I grew up about 20 minutes south of Terre Haute. We actually went to TH for fun on the weekends. It was the big mega-tropolis I'm still not too far from there in Plainfield. We'll be at MNSSHP on the 21st too. We had SUCH a great time last year we couldn't pass it up this year, even if this was supposed to be a budget trip.

WOW you are close! we pass threw plainfield almost everytime we go to Indy, My husband has me stop for white castle-yet again another thing we dont have here either . Also, we drive over to Avon alot-I go there to the marshells (they have kids skateboard clothes there cheap!)

I am soo happy to B going to mnsshp, this was a budget trip for us as well but we just keep adding things on to it that I dont think its budget anymore. we are also thinking of trying to add 1 water park day on to our park hopper passes, we currently dont have water park option but Im starting to think that the kids would really love that--here goes another 200+ dollars (not really sure on the cost, Ill have to look into it)

What are your questions about Photo Pass? Post them here, because I am SURE you will get tons of great information! We used it last year, but I am going to use it even more this year! It's a great deal IF you make sure you get tons of pictures.

We've used PhotoPass for the past couple years, this way I have some pictures with all of us in it!

Love to use it, but it's kind of expensive to buy the pictures...IMO, but that still doesn't stop me from using it! Last year we got a free photopass picture with our travel package and then you get one for half price from MNSSHP.

I have been reading about sharing Photo Pass. You can add as many cards as you want (I am pretty sure) in to one account. Then you all split the cost of the CD and one person burns the CD then mails out copies to everyone else. People swap fridges, coffee pots, strollers and everything else, so I guess PP sharing was the next thing! Sounds like a GREAT deal to me. I think Lori and I are going to do this when we go. You might want to find someone you trust (as much as you can) to go in with you. Maybe people from this thread would be interested?

I never thought of doing that, that makes alot of sense though! Buy the CD of all your pictures, then you can print off whatever ones you want or burn the CD for someone else! Geez, why didn't I think of that last year!

I prolly would not feel comfortable doing the photo sharing thing with anyone, Just because I dont know them very well. BUT It is a wonderful idea. My sister is going with us so I think Ill ask her if she wants to go in 50.00 and get them together.

What about costumes? Are any of you wearing costumes to mnsshp? my husband said last night that if we are spending the extra $$$ to go then we need to do it right and purchase nice matching costumes but there sooo expensive! DH wants to be mad hatter or jack sparrow.....those are not cheap, then Id have to get all matching costumes from alice in wonderland (I would love to be the queen of hearts) or POTC. Were talking 200.00 in costumes or more....what do you think? should we go "ALL OUT" like that? I personally think walmart costumes would do but DH seems to disagree.

They issue you a new photopass at the MNSSHP, on the back of it is a code that gives you your 1/2 price discount. We used that pass all night long, and kept our regular photopass card in our pocket.

We did not wear full costumes last year..we had matching halloween t-shirts, and I'm kind of glad we didn't because it was very hot and incredibly humid the night we went! I felt so bad for some of the little kids I saw wearing full halloween costumes...like big furry poohbear costumes...their little faces were bright red, and they were miserable! But we did see alot of really cool costumes on adults that night too though! So I guess my suggestion is, if you want to wear a costume, make sure it's not too hot to wear or strip out of if you get too warm!
