I'll be there celbrating my 21st birthday Sept 8-15. I'm not sure what nights I might be able to do a meet, I'm normally a park open to close sort of person, but I'm not sure my dad(who's turning 45 on the trip) will want to do so much park.

Hello everyone!! I am so excited to be joining you guys again!! I had originally booked POP but wanted to add a day so I had to switch to Sports but then POP had an opening and I switched back!!! YAY!!

They issue you a new photopass at the MNSSHP, on the back of it is a code that gives you your 1/2 price discount. We used that pass all night long, and kept our regular photopass card in our pocket.

We did not wear full costumes last year..we had matching halloween t-shirts, and I'm kind of glad we didn't because it was very hot and incredibly humid the night we went! I felt so bad for some of the little kids I saw wearing full halloween costumes...like big furry poohbear costumes...their little faces were bright red, and they were miserable! But we did see alot of really cool costumes on adults that night too though! So I guess my suggestion is, if you want to wear a costume, make sure it's not too hot to wear or strip out of if you get too warm!

Okay so I have a question now regarding the MNSSHP photopass can we use our reg. photopass or do we have to use the ones on the MNSSHP nights?? The reason why I am asking is we get a FREE CD this year due to many problems with ours last year Disney offered us a free one this year or a full refund so we opted for the free cd.

If you're getting a free CD, I would just use the regular photopass card, that way you don't need to combine cards.

Sorry they are not better but it seems every where I put them the glare wouldn't go away so I used my computer screen. I guess whatever works. I so glad we got ours early I really didn't want to pay more for them at the gate .

Hi gals! Poohbear PMed me with alot on answers regarding photopass. The one thing I was unsure about is.....Will I need a seperate photopass for mnsshp? I know someone said its half off so i assumed I would have to have it seperate from the rest of my pics? Right?

What about costumes? Are any of you wearing costumes to mnsshp? my husband said last night that if we are spending the extra $$$ to go then we need to do it right and purchase nice matching costumes but there sooo expensive! DH wants to be mad hatter or jack sparrow.....those are not cheap, then Id have to get all matching costumes from alice in wonderland (I would love to be the queen of hearts) or POTC. Were talking 200.00 in costumes or more....what do you think? should we go "ALL OUT" like that? I personally think walmart costumes would do but DH seems to disagree.

I believe to get the discounted picture (one year i know people got a free one) you need the MNSSHP PP card. You can have multiple cards, so don't worry about it. Plus the PP cards from MNSSHP last year were really neat looking! I was still able to combine my regular PP card and my MNSSHP card when I ordered pictures.
Costumes - It is going to be HOT!!! Last year I made t-shirts for Ry and I. This year Lori and I are dressing up and I know Ryan wants to. Trying to convince him to go lightweight is a whole other story! Just remember there is still a lot of walking, in and out of rides, sitting waiting for the parade, etc. So you need to be comfortable! If you HAVE to dress up, why not get all dressed up, get some cool PP pics taken and then change into something more comfortable? You could get a locker for the evening.

Last year Austin was Jack Sparrow and he was SOOOO hot !! He loved every minute of it though. I am sure with the new POTC that just came out he will want to be that agin this year. Maybe I can talk him into a pair of shorts and a POTC t-shirt from the Disney Store ?

I saw THE COOLEST shirt I want from the Disney store. It is black and white striped with rhinestones on it for POTC. I put off buying it and when I went back the other day to get it - they only had a size small !! DARN IT !!
